Fantastic experience: Danielle and Monica and their team are amazing. Danielle has handled three home sales for us since 2020 and every time I have never needed to worry about a thing. She knows the local market and exactly what needs attention to get the house sold. She has great contacts with contractors in the community who respond and get her jobs done quickly and with integrity. She is a strong negotiator and offers great insight while still listening to our requests. She is responsive and we receive regular updates on the status of the contract process which was important as we were not living locally during the transaction. She was able to get our last place under contract within less than 24 hours and made sure we had the notary services we needed for closing even though we were out of the country. She also dealt with tenants, checked with the courthouse for necessary documentation, and met the contractors. Professionalism, knowledgable, service forward is what we look for in our agent and that is exactly the type of firm Southern Colorado Realty has been for a long time. This is why you pay professionals, to get the job done correctly, and efficiently, but Danielle and her team go above and beyond every single time.

Negative experience: Went into office after talking to Danielle,(who seemed ok) told by Monica Violet Danielle not available but she would show me thought she was sure she could get me the property for a low price I said great let's go look at it. When we got there she was totally unsure of property lines. That tells me she hasn't done the research. She said she needed to find out more about the property. As we left the Nieghbor told me she had sold him his property and lied about it. I decided it might be smart to find someone to represent me as well. Turns out Monica wanted both commissions (buyer and seller rep) illegal in most states. I turned in the proposal as Monica had it written and it was refused. So I offered the asking price plus 5k. They said they wanted the full price as escrow or Ernest money. And they were under contract anyway. If I wanted to put in a backup offer it would take the whole amount of purchase price. If anything went wrong I'd lose everything. The owner refused to return my calls as did Danielle the broker. Turns out Monica is a mediator or something other than a broker. However I feel that the treatment I got was shady at best

Negative experience: Was very misleading expensive application when it cost pennies to obtain backround as well as credit report thats free. They minipulate you put in the application then treat you like nothing horrible time waisting experiance.. Monica your apartments arent a prison. Who wants to live as tho it is . If i pay to live somewhere dont want to feel like a prisoner.

Fantastic experience: Jim is very knowledgeable. We have bought and sold rural properties outside Trinidad over the past 4 or 5 years and he has always been great to work with. His experience in this area is second to none.

Fantastic experience: Danielle was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the area and the houses she showed me, I told her why I was moving to Trinidad and how much stuff I would be moving with and she tailored our walk-throughs to match my requirements. She did a fantastic job and while I did go with another option(sooner move in date) I would feel completely comfortable going back to them if I needed to move in the future.

Negative experience: Rented an apartment through this company and had to deal with Monica the whole time. She was VERY rude and unprofessional every-time I spoke with her. 10/10 do not recommend MONICA.

Fantastic experience: Personally, I had a very good experience. No crime where I lived. Resolved the maintenance issues quickly within two to three days after requesting. Additionally, I got most of my deposit back because I had no damages and cleaned before I moved out. I highly recommend Southern Colorado Realty!

Fantastic experience: Danielle and her team were great landlords. We have been with them since 2017 and always been treated well and respectfully. We had some major issues and they were taken care of quickly as well as safety improved in the time of their management.

Negative experience: Its terrible when no one here likes you! No one to blame but yourself!

Negative experience: The police have been here too many times to count. bad heat, cracks in the middle of the floors, mold, refrigerators that do not work and enforcing any rules.. there are individuals that used to live here that still have access to the building always hanging around being sketchy. Do a mold test, the manager told me that mold can’t grow in Colorado, but three of my tests proved that wrong. One kid was shot here .

Negative experience: Rented from s.c.r. Jim...for two years. From the beginning to the end this has been a terrible experience. I could never get anything fixed or taken care of without raising a fuss. The house we rented had a terrible odor coming from the basement. Probably mold or sewage. We never got an answer, it was never taken care of. Possibly caused my fiance to have a miscarriage! I was never allowed to see the basment. Terrible experience all the way around now we are fighting to get our security deposit back. Left the place nicer and cleaner than when we moved in! Terrible, scetchy way of doing buinsness! Absolutely not professional!

Negative experience: Selling my house has been a nightmare through this realty ! The realtors will NOT do anything to help the seller, they only side and help the buyer. The realtors are unreliable, untrustworthy and unprofessional. I will NEVER go through this realty when buying CASH again nor will I sell my house with them. Again, it was a total nightmare !

Negative experience: If there was a zero star I would give it to these crooks. They have hung up on me refused to call back and just now force me to file a lawsuit for my deposit back on a retail rental that isn't even legal for retail space . Stay far far away......

Negative experience: I moved into the house on 800 Robinson ave and it was a big mistake. The place was dirty. The washer flooded the place when I tried to wash clothes the kitchen stink leaks and bathroom toilet as well. I moved in March and I'm leaving already in June. They are keeping my deposit of $650 cause I broke my 1 year lease. Do not rent from this company period. Here are pictures of the kitchen when I moved in I didnt even notice. Til I hunched down and looked its horrible. Do not rent here or from this company. This is in Trinidad, CO. Also they threaten me when I went to advise them of moving out. Saying I'm responsible for the rent even if I move out. Please avoid this company at all cost and deal with a real realtor company if you moving or living in Trinidad, CO.

Negative experience: Of all the mistakes I've made in my life, walking thru their door was one of the worst. If you decide to conduct business here, be very, very careful.**update*** I toned it down a bit as owner commented on the word "criminal". Let's leave it at very unethical.

Negative experience: Contact "Saraha" twice regarding a large parcel of land. Have not received any responses. Poor professionalism at it's best.
