Fantastic experience: Best in the business right here folks. I’ve used this office for both of my homes. Both David and his staff are the best at what they do. Very hands off and a description of what I was looking for. One day of looking and I made an offer both times. Absolute delight to not have to think or worry about any aspect of home buying. They’ve earned my Alabama business for life.

Negative experience: They took my deposit ($900) spending on renovation their property; I left their property clean and neat much better than when I rented it. They said this how it is, we take deposits to repair our property. They ask for 90 days window to get back your deposit and then they will take it when you are gone. This realtor is theft, a robber; there are two rude, racist, sarcastic women working there, showing no respect for their tenants, do not answer your calls and do not care if you need anything. It was a nightmare living there for a year; never recommend it to anyone, particaurily to International students and immigrants; they are racist, have bad mouth and very rude. I suggest living in streets rather than renting their property.

Negative experience: The women in there are extremely argumentative and such antagonists and they don’t know what clean is every property I looked at had horrible water damage to the roof.

Negative experience: I am just ending my 1 year lease with David Adams Realty. When we initially signed the lease for our apartment we were told that it would be cleaned because it had been vacant for several months. When we got the keys there were dead pests and eggs in our sinks, and even or fridge. They sent someone to clean again but they did not do a good job of cleaning so we had to clean it ourselves. We were not able to move in until about 2 weeks after our lease began because of issues with sanitation. Yet we still had to pay rent for the entire month and they did not seem very accepting of our concerns in the beginning. However, I do understand with this being a college town people do all seem to move around the same time. Also our dishwasher and garbage disposal were both broken and the microwave only worked when it felt like it (not a big issue). It took several weeks for us to get a new dishwasher. However, the service that did come was very friendly and seemed to genuinely desire to meet our needs. Our last 3 months in this condo we have gone without a kitchen light that they were supposed to send someone to fix but never did. All in all, as long as you pay rent on time, don’t need much assistance and like your location, you will be fine. Once we got all of the kinks out in the beginning we loved our condo and our location. If you desire a hands-on and caring management company this company will not meet your expectations. I am just hoping considering all the trouble we went through in the beginning, they will at least give us our security deposit back.

Negative experience: UPDATE: I HAVE BEEN ACCOSTED IN PUBLIC BY THE OWNER OF THIS BUSINESS FOR LEAVING A NEGATIVE REVIEW Avoid renting with these people at all costs. They will not perform repairs as needed, they do not ensure that proper maintenance has occurred on their properties, and become hostile at the first sign of pushback. They allowed a leak to persist in my roof for nearly three months before having it fixed, refused to treat a bedbug infestation in my building, and have yet to repair my water heater after a month. No matter what they're charging you, it's too high. Seriously, rent with literally anyone else in Troy. Rental: Elmwood Apartments, 543 Elm Street

Negative experience: To all the internationals in Troy, I use to live in one of their partments. Try NOT to rent from them and I will never. They dont have any good apartments near the university yet the rent is relatively higher than other realties. Equipments like AC, refrigerator, carpets are old and needs repair all the time and sometimes they are very slow on response. They overcharge the return security deposit no matter how clean the aprtments are when your lease is end because the aprtments are too old and crappy to keep it in shape. I also heard from many friend of mine that the lady in the office who is in charge has bad atitude when talk to the internationals but only smile when recieving the rent LOL. Anyway STAY AWAY from them internationals, you could find better landlords better aprtments near University!!!
