We ultimately enlisted Jason Leininger to be our representative. This decision was based on the very detailed and strategic plan Jason laid out for marketing our house, and the professional way he presented himself during the interview. We were not disappointed. Our house went on the market at a time when sales were slow and pricing was soft due to high interest rates and uncertainty over the potential for future cuts. Having had a negative experience with another agent in the past, my husband and I were extremely nervous when we decided to start looking for a home in Billings. Going into the process we felt stressed as We are a family of seven, we had a very short timeline, we didnt know how the home buying process fully worked and we didn’t fully know what we wanted. Jason eased our concerns and helped us every step of the way. Before we toured homes, Jason spent time asking about our family, our expectations, our backstory and what we were looking for. Experiencia fantástica: I contacted Jason about buying my first home. I was not 100% sure what I was looking for but I had a rough idea. When I met Jason to talk about my goals for buying a home, he asked a lot of questions about me, favorite music, life goals, where I see myself in 5 and 10 years, what things I value such as a garage, garden, etc. I felt like he a good idea of who I was. Then a few days later we went around and looked at houses. All in all I looked at about 15. I wasn't sold on any of them and Jason didn't say much either way, not trying to push me or influence my decision. Then when we found me the perfect home, Jason finally spoke up. I felt like he realized, as I did, those other homes were not my perfect home. I appreciate him not trying to push me into anything, especially since a few we looked at were super cute but had cracked foundations and other red flags. He was always very good as answering my questions though such as how much value do Egress windows add. When I found the perfect house I was tired from working a bunch of days in a row. I wasn't 100% sold but Jason said it was a good home and a good price. I put in an offer but there were 5 other offers. Jason wrote up an amazing deal and asked me to do what I could to assist in me getting the home.... And I got it!!! He was amazing to work with in terms of fighting for me and making sure I was doing everything I needed to do. This was my first home so it was a learning curve for sur. Overall the process was extremely easy and smooth and I was glad to have Jason fighting in my corner. Each day, as I've had more time to process, I fall more and more in love with the house. I appreciate that Jason got to know me and was able to guide me towards the perfect home - it was always my choice but I trusted his advice explicitly. I would highly recommend Jason and if I ever sell or buy again I will be contacting him! Update: 7/2023 I also used Jason to sell home when I was ready to move! He was once again amazing. He told me all the things I needed to do to make the house presentable and it was spot-on advice. One thing was to get each room to 60% full or less so people can see themselves in your home - a great recommendation that made all the difference! He set up photos and even helped remove a few weeds on photo day to ensure my house was perfect. He navigated me through offers and found me the perfect one. At first, I was so nervous to ask the price and counter-negotiations he recommended, but I trusted him explicitly, and in the end, I said, "whatever you recommend I trust!". I was able to get an amazing offer, which was more than I could have dreamed for my house! He took care of everything the buyer asked for in terms of fixing things, roto-rooter, etc. because at that point, I had already moved to another state. Stop searching and hire Jason today. You will not regret it!! Jason is the best realtor in Billings and I am SO sad he can't be my realtor as I moved to another state. If I could, I would have Jason as my realtor for life!!!! I will recommend him in the future to anyone who asks me for a real estate recommendation. He did all he could for us during our home buying process. I hope the below list helps you pick him as your real estate agent. When there was a house we wanted to see, he would get us in to see the house as soon as possible. That was how we got the house we purchased. It was placed for sale in the morning, we looked at it that evening, and Jason helped us put in an offer that night (this was during the COVID-19 market when houses were sold quickly). He interviewed us initially, and listened to us while we looked at houses. This enabled him to give us guidance and recommendations as to the house that was right for us. He talked us out of houses that he knew weren't right for us. Looking back, he was right, and we are much happier in the house we are in now. He was very knowledgeable about the local market. I know he is younger than some other real estate agents, but that didn't hamper him in being a highly knowledgable agent. He would look around the houses we would look at, and point out things that were wrong or things we should think about. He is part of the Real Estate Hub, which gives him access to large team of real estate agents. He always had a good idea of how well a house was priced. When we made our offer, he knew the price we needed to offer to get our house. There was one other offer, and a full day of showings the next day. If we didn't put in our offer where and when we did, we would not have gotten the house (and if it was possible to put in our offer later, we would've spent more). He also has plenty of experience. He does this full time, and is one of the more more active real estate agents in Billings. He was always friendly and available during the entire buying process. If he was out showing a house to someone else, he would always call us back quickly if we had a question. When I would call he was always happy to talk. He loves what he does. In my opinion, someone who doesn't love what they do, might not do as good of a job. You can tell when you work with him that he loves what he does. He is looking for long term relationships with people. He wants to keep helping people even after he works with you to sell or buy a home. I'm interested in buying real estate in the future for investments, and he's still available for advice or when I have questions. His desire for long term relationships helps me to know that he is trying to do what is right for people in helping them with their real estate needs. I don't write recommendations very often, but I will when someone does an excellent job. I don't have any hesitation recommending Jason as an excellent real estate agent. If you choose him, he will serve you well.
