After our close friend let us know their neighbor's place was on the market, we made a quick offer contingent on our place selling. Which was not yet on the market, finished, ready for pictures, is a unique/untypical property - oh, and we have a million kids. There was a 'happily ever after' element to needing to make this happen, the new place was going really worth this big lift and be life changing for our family. Rachael really saw that, and always knew and anticipated our needs as both sellers and parents in the process. We felt so much pressure to get our place sold ASAP, during the holidays. It took only thirty seven days from the one day that we went to look at three houses in the Elmhurst neighborhood to closing. After keeping an eye on the Providence housing market over the preceding several months, we knew that it was a “sellers’ market” and that houses were being snatched up almost immediately upon being listed. Rachael was able to get us in quickly to see properties before someone else purchased them. She was also reassuring after we put in a bid that was very high above asking price and still lost out. It was hard not to get discouraged after looking at very limited inventory, but Rachael was always positive and encouraging and assured us by stating that “the perfect home is out there waiting for you and it will come along at just the right time”. She was very right! We closed a few weeks ago and are absolutely thrilled with our loft condo. We cannot thank Rachael enough for understanding our needs, matching us with properties that aligned with our desire to greatly downsize, have ease of living and for working with her colleagues and connections to make it all happen.
