Experiencia negativa: Don't do anything other than conventional home buying from these people they can't navigate their own system for instance if you find a piece of property that you have a question about they basically make you figure out how to answer your own questions it seems like you're expected to know everything that they should know except without taking the classes prior I don't know how to read a code book for land codes I don't even understand what I'm reading if I look at the code book that's why they have classes for that stuff but I guess you have to take classes in order to talk to a real estate agent

As a society we always focus and sensationalize the negative, I’m not that different either. That said, all terrible heartbreaking negatives must be balanced by extreme uplifting positives. Consider yourselves lucky for this positive review, LOL. Chris Reeder of Long and Foster is on another level. Yes, I can throw out superlatives like fantastic, tremendous, the best, above and beyond, but that wouldn’t even do the situation justice. I’ve known Chris for almost two decades. Even before she got into real estate, she was exceptional, reliable and trustworthy. Any issues I encountered at my job she would address and always shared a smile in the process. She ventured out into the real estate world at a time when the market was hot, seriously hot. She excelled and learned the ropes, but I did not interact with her until 2008, when I needed to sell my house in the height of the economic recession. I was hoping to sell my house and break even or even take a slight loss based on my situation. Chris & Robin personally, yes, personally, helped me setup, show, fix, and move! Why? They cared about me and it wasn’t just about the money. Yes, it was their profession but the sense of something else was always there. Like helping a family member in a time of need. I never forgot that and never will. Fast forward one year, 2009, and more country/real estate recession. Nicole and I were looking to buy a house together and build a future together but with a budget in mind and a very poor market. Chris was more than patient, bending over backwards for our needs and ultimately helped us land a wonderful house through a stressful couple of months. She made sure the fine details were adequate since our focus was just to establish something. She didn’t care just about the sale, there was something else. You see a developing theme? Both of our kids were born in this house and we greatly loved the location, especially after the modernization that occurred around us (new stores, upgraded amenities, new traffic plans, etc.). The memories of this house will always remain, and it really is a bittersweet departure from home. Now really fast forward to current situation, 2020. We were very content in our humble abode (see above). Nicole was presented with a wonderful opportunity to grow and further her career. She accepted the position, but the new location and her changing traffic patterns weren’t cutting it. I reached out to Chris to see what she was up to since it had been a while. It was really just to kick tires and possibly see what our options were. She responded and we reconnected! Even though our lives were busy, and paths didn’t cross, we didn’t skip a beat and picked up where we finished in 2009. That doesn’t happen to someone with just a stuffy business or professional relationship. She guided us, gave us advice and provided plenty of references along the way (she’s like a mob boss, well connected and has a person for everything ). Not one question went unanswered, not one hesitancy was left to fester, not one detail was overlooked. She treated us like her only clients, like her job depended on our success, like her decade long friends, like her family! And her husband, you may be named Robin, but you are my Batman! He’s a wealth of knowledge, incredibly handy and very attentive. We need more Robins in the world! I cannot express how grateful Nicole and I are with everything. I can only hope others find their way to Chris for such a wonderful experience. She has my lifelong referral signed, sealed and delivered from us. I don’t anticipate having to relocate again but if we ever need or anything real estate related comes to light, you can bet your bottom dollar the first person I’m reaching out to is her.
