A beautiful property, Lisa and Tim said - land, house, outbuildings we'd added. Pines and cedar trees, mountain misery, rhododendrons, dogwoods, and needing full-time enjoyment - and maintenance, cooperation with neighbors for private roads, regular tree needle raking, winter snow moval, etc. Relying on Lisa and Tim was easy - their experience in the region, with the community and involvement as real estate cycles and rules have changed through the years. It's been a joy to brainstorm ideas/strategies and talk through the reasons why they would or wouldn't work (unexpected consequences, changes in codes). Straightforward. No posturing. Real. Tim and Lisa both convinced him that it wasn't the best thing for him to do (I was very grateful) even though they lost out on a sale. Recently things have changed and it was time to put the cabin up for sale. We live hours away making it hard to clean it out properly. Any decent realtor can show you houses and help you put together an offer, but where Tim and Lisa really shine is in their knowledge of the different neighborhoods and in what to look for and what to avoid in a mountain home. We really appreciated their help managing the process around our septic tank. With Tim's connections, he was able to quickly get a septic engineer and inspector out to our property (between snow storms) so we understood the cost of fixing septic issues before our escrow period ended. Tim and Lisa have continued to help post-closing - they came by to show us how to winterize the cabin, have been there to meet service people who've come by when we aren't there, answered our endless questions, etc. We are so happy that we found Tim and Lisa via these google reviews and would 100% recommend them to anyone else looking to buy in Arnold.

Experiencia fantástica: After reading the Google reviews we decided to give Tim a call. We had a recent bad experience with another realty group up there and we are so glad we found Tim and Lisa. Tim answered the phone and took the time to listen and actually have a conversation. We set up a date to meet and Tim took the time to show us around and really explain how things worked up there. Lisa took the time to come out and meet us that evening. They are both very genuine people. He and Lisa gave us really good advice on what to look for and what to avoid. We had only stayed in the area on vacations before, but they really gave us a local's perspective. Both know a lot about that area since they have been locals for a long time. You can tell they take great pride in their community and are very active in local issues. They were available any time we wanted to come up and look at houses. Even though they were busy with other transactions they always took the time to talk, meet, and show us around. There were also a few “counseling” sessions and real talk when things started getting stressful due to things out of our control. I can't say enough good things about their responsiveness to our calls, emails, and texts. If one of them was busy, the other would get back to us and always answered our questions. It didn't take us long to find a place we wanted, but it wasn't an easy transaction by any means. No matter what issue came up they always had a can-do attitude and stuck it out with us even when it looked like the deal might not go through. Even during the inspections, they knew who to call to get things done. They took care of everything, so we didn't have to worry about anything. They have a list of professionals they trust and that do dependable work. We were able to get the cabin we wanted in Blue Lake Springs. Even after the transaction was done, Tim and Lisa have remained responsive and are such a wealth of knowledge. They tell you how to winterize your cabin and they have a website of companies they recommend. Tim and Lisa are professionals and truly care about their clients. Experiencia fantástica: Working with Tim and Lisa to purchase our mountain vacation home in Arnold was an all-around GREAT experience. They were very responsive, accommodating, and attentive to pretty much anything/everything we asked for. Their knowledge of the Arnold area, all the pluses/minuses of mountain living, the available resources they could call on or refer us to (eg: contractors, etc), and the RE transaction process (closed in 30 days with financing) was very impressive. Tim and Lisa went out of their way to make our home search and eventual purchase as easy as possible, especially given the challenges of a super hot RE market and the logistical challenge of living 3 hours away. Tim and Lisa made themselves available to check out pretty much any property/listing we inquired about, and even did a video call "walk through" so we could virtually check out the property instead of driving 3 hours every time we wanted to take a serious look at a house. They spent close to 6 months with us and we/they checked out at least 25 houses before successfully purchasing our mountain get away. Tim and Lisa continue to be our "go-to" resources for service and maintenance recommendations/referrals, as well as any other questions we may have. While it is helpful to research a bit online, nothing compares to their knowledge and passion for Arnold and Calaveras County. I thought that I had a good idea of where my family wanted to find a house but Lisa was able to pin down what we were really looking for and found the perfect fit for us. We were fortunate to find our place in one trip and even luckier to close very quickly, but there was never any pressure to pick a place that didn't fit well. Living in the Bay Area, it wasn't feasible to make it back during the closing process, but there were several occasions where Lisa went out of her way to make a huge difference in making this such a great experience...especially when she went to the property on the day that we picked up the keys to turning the heater on (it snowed that day).
