And to be sure, my cabin's value/listing price was probably in the bottom 50th percentile (maybe even lower) for her, and she still treated me as if I was one of her top clients. Experiencia fantástica: I typically never write a review unless it is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad because let's be honest, who has time for it? I have been working in the real estate industry for 15 years and I have never come across a real estate broker as talented and committed as Alison. First of all, my husband and I had very different ideas about what we were looking for in our second home. It got to the point that we were about to give up on our search...but Alison immediately saw the discrepancy and re-directed our search toward houses that would satisfy both my husband and I. Alison spent a lot of time with us looking at several options to assess our exact needs and wants, and succeeded in identifying the home of our dreams in less than 6 hours. (For someone like me who spent the last three months choosing accent pillows, this is pretty exceptional :-)). The funny part is how Alison knew it would be our home as soon as we walked in but we are the kind of people who needs to discover this by ourselves. After two months of thinking it over (after all, this is a pretty large investment), we finally decided to make an offer and from then, she handled the negotiation admirably. Alison was to the point, not messing around and strategic. While on due diligence, she had already predicted the issues ahead of time and knew how to address them best. The whole process was perfectly orchestrated by her fabulous escrow manager Ronda, everything was timed to perfection. We knew we were in the best hands and for the first time it was stress-less to buy real estate. Very impressive. We had a few hurdles to tackle on our way. Atypically situations where some others would not have performed, but Alison (again) exceeded expectations. Alison handled it with professionalism (even if it took more of her time to solve) and went above and beyond to meet our timeline. Final closing was delayed and we had already scheduled furniture deliveries. Alison restructured the deal at the last minute for us to move in and book us in the nicest hotel in the area so we had a place to stay while we were working on obtaining legal possession. After we closed, she welcomed us to our new home with so many presents to open that it felt like Christmas!!! Alison is simply the best and I would not want to work with anyone else but her for our Truckee dream home.
