This was the house I grew up in and it held a lot of memories for me. She listened to my stories of growing up and what the neighborhood used to be like. Because of health issues our daughter had to represent us in moving out and clearing the house. Jen then had our house cleaned and photographed with emphasis on the hardwood floors making the house look very attractive. She also managed to include pictures of the front garden in summer and a winter picture. She helped us reduce the painting and repairs necessary for a good sale. Jen priced the House so that we had offers when the house was first shown. The effective presentation and marketing at the open house resulted in an offer $30,000 above our asking price. A rapid settlement and as-is agreement which she negotiated were very important to us She handled the settlement details so well that we had no problems and had our proceeds in our bank on the day of settlement. She was more a good neighbor and friend than an agent at all times. Overall we had the best possible outcome of our need to rapidly sell the house.

Experiencia fantástica: Jen Ward We were house hunting visiting open houses. We met Jen Ward when she was hosting an open house (for another Realtor) for the house we ended up buying in 2010. After showing us the house (delightful and detailed), we set up a time for her to come to our home to discuss being our Realtor to sell our house. Jen was very detailed in the Qs she asked us and the info she explained to us about the home selling process. Jen did not miss one detail. Her advice as to how to prepare our house for sale was spot on. She carefully lead us through the strategies for pricing our home. She carefully marketed our home to potential buyers, holding carefully timed open house dates. From the time of listing to contract 30 days. We asked her to help us find a new property. After interviewing us about our locations and housing desires, she guided us to selected houses that met our criteria. When we found “the house”, she counseled us about our bid to the sellers and voila, they accepted. Here is where the real work took place. She meticulously attended to the all of the details to arrange a sell settlement in the morning and a buy settlement in the afternoon all on the same day! WOW. In the past 10 years Jen kept in touch by periodic mailings about trends in the housing market in the area and social gatherings with her clients. So, when it came to selecting a Realtor to represent our house to the present 2020 market, I called her. I couldn't have asked for better Realtor service. Even though I knew she had other clients, she always responded to my Qs immediately or in a timely manner. She again coached me through the things I needed to do to get my home ready for sale: kitchen renovations, bathroom improvements, basement improvements, auctioneers, antique dealers, and exterior upgrades, all needful things for a timely sale. As I progress toward final preparations for listing, a potential buyer approached me and again Jen took the lead and arranged a showing. Offer made, and accepted. Again this is where the real work took place. As I had to move out weeks before before settlement, she was my in-locus representative, acting in my behalf wrangling details between the contractors, cleaners, the settlement company and me. Again, her advice and counsel was spot on; legal documents, electronic documents, FedEx, notary services, all on the nose. Gold five-star service.
