He was quick, he helped me move in before the first of the month because I was couch surfing, and he responded to emails and calls in a timely manner. After I moved in I was having a few hiccups in the new apartment and I reached out to Omar again. He went above and beyond his job to reach out to the landlord and successfully advocate for me, which I had been trying to do unsuccessfully for a week. My former roommate and I were being asked to vacate our apt prior to the ending of our lease agreement because the owner decided to sell her apartment!! It was an ordeal, to say the least!!! Especially in NYC. We both needed to find a new place to live and quick. We decided to look seperately. When I emailed Omar about the property I got a response back in minutes. He was able to show next day! He was so responsive and that's how he was during the entire time of our working together through this process. I had seen so many places up until this point but I knew this was my home and I was definitely on a time crunch. I was so nervous I wouldn't get it because of the other candidates had stronger profiles than me I think. But he was diligent and thorough with explaining the dynamics of the apartment and what I needed to know about securing the location. Also, he took his time advocating and working as my representative to the owner of the apartment. He worked as a dual agent but was actually more than fair on the side of presenting for me as a really good option for a rental candidate to the owner of the space.
