Experiencia negativa: Personally would never rent through them ever again. Some people were kind and tried having communication (chas and mariah) but there were many times i couldn't reach anybody, i would go to the office and just about everytime they were closed early (closing before 3pm when they close at 5pm) There was also a time i had called the emergency line for an urgent issue, the phone rang and as you would expect nobody ever answered. if you're someone like me who typically takes the chance and ignores the reviews, i genuinely advise against that. Please find a better company for you're own safety and wellbeing. To add they had Accused me of having an unauthorized pet in the home and surprised me with a fee to pay for the "timely inspection" they had to do, just to discover i did have a pet which was already on the lease... my home was photographed at night in the DARK! to show "proof" of a poop scoop and my dogs footprints in the snow. This made me incredibly uneasy and i was still forced to pay the fee after their mistake? A special word for there employee Tony Marotz. I had gone in to drop off my keys for move out and made him aware of a deadbolt that had been lost but told him i could replace if they wanted, he had asked me for my number so i figured it was in case they wanted me to replace it since he said he would have to ask my property manager. Well no, he was extremely Inappropriate and had looked me up and down and has said "you look good" mind you i'm freshly 20 and he looks 35. I immediately left the building as it was only me and him in there and i felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable and honestly, unsafe. I feel as if there is a lot of unprofessionalism surrounding this entire business. Please be aware if you're looking.

Experiencia negativa: The Rochester office closed over an hour early, and I had called the day before to confirm their hours too! That’s just the beginning on the issues, I have had an awful experience with this company

Experiencia negativa: Rented a place from them and move in day my place was not clean. I said something to them and they offered to send their cleaners back to finish the job. I agreed and allowed them time for that. I go back to again find my place not cleaned. Microwave not being cleaned fully. Bottom shelves dirty. Even found items left behind by previous tenants. Lazy cleaners are unacceptable in this kind of business. On top of that, they didn’t give me all the proper keys since there are multiple locked doors with different keys. Having to call the leasing agent to get the proper keys was exhausting because of constant unanswered calls. Seems as if the company is way too in a hurry to rent a place out instead of taking the time to make sure everything is ready to go and things aren’t missed. Wishing I would have chose a different company to rent from.

Experiencia fantástica: My partner and I encountered some issues with a leased property, and had to have some difficult discussions about next steps with Harbor. They were incredibly accommodating and worked with us to resolve the issue. We were pretty stressed and nervous yet Harbor (and Mariah) were able to help us troubleshoot and we arrived at an excellent solution. I felt heard and understood. Additionally, the initial leasing process with Aaron was seemless and easy.

Experiencia fantástica: I was at the Hayfield location for two years and I never had a single problem with them. Maintenance was always handled fast and when I struggled my last couple months, they worked with me without judgment and made it a less stressful process. Experiencia negativa: Do not rent from this company — documented issues at every stage of tenancy I want to warn prospective renters about a pattern of unprofessional and unlawful conduct I experienced firsthand. Move-in: The unit was not ready on the first day of the lease. Staff were still "cleaning" when I arrived, and the property was left in a filthy condition, including a dead mouse in plain sight. We were charged the full day's rent regardless. Maintenance: Maintenance staff arrived at the property without any prior notice, peering through windows and walking through the backyard unannounced. This is not just poor practice; entering or inspecting a tenant's property without proper notice is unlawful in most jurisdictions. Lease violations: Multiple appliances explicitly listed in the lease were not present at the property. Their own signed agreement was not honored. Communication: Emails and calls went routinely unanswered. Expect to be ignored. Security deposit: Our entire deposit was withheld with no legitimate basis. The stated reasons (routine cleaning, painting, normal wear and tear) are not valid grounds for withholding a deposit under standard tenant protection laws. When we formally demanded its return and cited the relevant statutes, it was returned in full, effectively an admission that it was taken unlawfully. This suggests the practice may be systematic, counting on tenants not knowing their rights or not pushing back. If you do rent here, document everything in writing, photograph the unit thoroughly before and after, and keep copies of all communications. And know your local tenant rights; you may need them.

Experiencia negativa: Skip working with this business. We had an appointment scheduled with this company. The realtor did not show up. We waited for 15 minutes before we called the company. They told us nobody was available to show us the house we had been scheduled to see. Very poor communication and does not follow through for clients.

Experiencia fantástica: I stayed at the Valley View Apartments for about 3 weeks. My job has me bouncing around all over the place so originally I thought I’d be staying longer.i have to say, my stay was great! The furnished apartment was perfect and staff was very friendly and helpful! I can’t commend Julie enough for all of her help throughout the entire process. She made things very easy for me and super responsive when I had questions. Lamberton is a great small town and I would definitely stay at Valley View Apartments again.

Experiencia negativa: I only lived there for 7 months! If you like slumlords this is the management group for you! They had to change their name from dwell management to harbor realty and management group to escape all the negative reviews, and now I understand why. Every fall they have a bad bug infestation, the slumlord knocked on our door causing our dog to bark knowing we weren't home and threatened us with a lease violation as our dog had been "barking for hours"! (We had it on camera that he wasnt barking until the slumlord knocked), that reminds me there is no posted rules anywhere so she can violate you just because she can and anyone can enter the building between the hours of 6am-10pm. Multiple door knockers have came in and we were told by the slumlord that it's a public place and anyone can enter. This is (was) our home, why can anyone and everyone enter the building?! The only thing positive I have to say is I had a good view ! Also we were offered a month free that we never got! This is for the Lamberton rentals but like stated they had to change their name because of negative reviews

Experiencia negativa: First of all….Half of all the positive reviews are solicited reviews or reviews from current employees to maintain a relatively good rating. Hilarious that a company has to solicit positive reviews to keep business afloat. However, I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience has been with this management company. The problems start from the moment you sign the lease, and they only escalate from there. From having to resign the lease multiple times due to the lease being built incorrectly to the utility billing being constantly wrong, and I’m left to figure out what’s going on almost month. I have to spend so much time on the phone trying to get someone to sort it out and even then, they often give me inaccurate information. But the real issue here is the complete and utter lack of consistent communication. The staff is clearly not on the same page, and it feels like no one knows what’s going on, ever. Maintenance requests are another huge issue. When I report an issue, sometimes it takes weeks for someone to show up, and even then, the job is only half done or done poorly. The communication between the leasing office, maintenance staff, and management is so disjointed that it’s as if they’re working in separate worlds. I’ve had to repeat myself over and over to different people because no one seems to have any record of my requests or communications. And if you try to reach anyone for an update? Forget it. I’ve had to call multiple times just to get a basic answer about anything, and most of the time, no one answers the phone. When someone does pick up, they either don’t know anything, give me a different answer every time, or just blame the property owners for the issues, which is beyond frustrating. There’s zero accountability. On top of all that, I recently had a female employee enter my apartment with a group of men without the 24-hour notice required by law and when I called to address this issue I’m told no one was in my apartment despite the fact I have cameras proving they were there! So on top of these issues the company lies to cover up their lack of accountability. This is not only a violation of my tenant rights but is also completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I’m left feeling like my concerns don’t matter to anyone in this company. This entire experience has been a nightmare. It’s a company that thrives on disorganization, poor communication, and lack of professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend renting from them to my worst enemy. If you value your time, peace of mind, and basic tenant rights, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible and unprofessional company. Do NOT apply with them or even book a showing of rental property. I booked a rental showing and notified the office and realtor one hour before my showing that I would be 5mins behind due to just getting off work, the realtor never showed. They then refused to reschedule my showing and lied about notifying me of the cancellation. Not worth your time!

Experiencia negativa: ***RENTERS BEWARE*** Updated: 8/20/25 NEW NAME, SAME SLUMLORD!!!! His name is Alex. Dwell Management Group rented my 18 year old daughter and here friend an apartment that was unsafe to live in. There were no working smoke alarms and an unsecure closet type door (picture attached) was used for the back entrance to the apartment. There was no working oven, the air conditioner was not secure, and the mailbox was lying next to the post when they moved in. The place was an absolute dump when she moved in. Check out the window picture. Any initial maintenance requests were not addressed and when followed up upon they were told Dwell/Harbor had switched systems and all the documented request were gone. I don't know if this how all Dwell branches operate but the Rochester one was not pleasant to work with and seem like predators, in my opinion. The way I see it, Harbor Realty and Management Group is about squeezing every cent out of their tenants, cutting corners, and ignoring concerning issues. I feel like they took advantage of two young girls and put them at risk. I forgot to mention the cops came looking for the previous renter. I am glad they are out of there and have decided to make it a point of sharing my experience in hopes that others will not rent from this ishy ishy company.

Experiencia fantástica: I used Harbor Realty to help manage one of my rental properties. They worked with me from the beginning and were the only company that allowed me to set the rent for the property. They took care of everything from rental recertification to maintaining the property. The pricing for any repair was highly competitive and would not expect to find a lower price with other companies. Overall, it was a much more laid back experience from an owners side of things and would/have recommended them to others.

Experiencia negativa: By far, the worst company to ever rent from there are such a headache never do their maintenance request are constantly having hidden fees here and there you have to pay them extra in order for them to get paid makes absolutely no sense. This place is a giant scam. They seen two young kids and they were like easy money and they took it full advantage of us. It is ridiculous that they did that and they don't care about their residence whatsoever. On top of that during your initial viewing for the place that you're going to be renting, the person will have absolutely no knowledge of the place. I went to three different houses and I asked simple questions. All three times had no clue what he was talking about I ended up having to look it up myself

Experiencia negativa: Everything started out fine last year when we moved into our house. Moved from out of state and I was really pleased with the application/moving process. Fast forward to March 2025, my partner (who lives with me & is also on the lease) both get laid off from our jobs unexpectedly. I asked about any options they have for breaking the lease (only 2 months left) and the only option they gave me was to have someone take over the lease and they began showing our home. They still haven’t found anyone to rent our home. We’ve paid the last two months rent but are constantly having to be out of our home for showings. It’s gotten to the point where we already moved out because the multiple showings a day are getting hard to work around. They have absolutely zero compassion. We’ve explained our situation multiple times and they don’t seem to care. We’ve only been able to pay our rent so our utilities have been shut off and what do they do? Tack on a $250 fee. I understand it’s a business but the lack of empathy has made me never want to rent from this company again and never will I recommend them to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience as an owner: for months they were unable to find a tenant (my next management company was able to find a set of 5 prospective tenants within 2 weeks, and we signed the first one), and they did not provide me information about how many people had contacted them about the property, whether they had scheduled any viewings, etc. In the meantime, they charged me for every time they went to the property “to check”, with some of these visits seemingly a week apart. They didn’t seem to have an incentive to find a tenant, since they were charging me just the same. Very little transparency. They get two stars instead of one because the lady they had taking care of their office was very nice, even though she seemed overworked.

I found her incredibly short with us and very rude when we had any questions for her. I would not recommend working with her she made me feel very unwelcome to ask questions. Experiencia negativa: **DO NOT RENT WITH DWELL** After going back and forth for several weeks and handing over 350 dollars to them for application and pet fees we were denied and not properly informed until the last minute, causing unnecessary stress and complications. The only proper communication we could garner was through a single phone number that would not respond to calls, only text and all emails went unreceived. They could not find the profiles for the prescreening we had to pay for out of pocket and tried to make us pay for it again, threatening to move on to other applicants if we did not comply. This company is highly unprofessional and outright rude.

Experiencia negativa: Was rented the property 1111 2nd Ave NW Austin over a phone call for various reasons. I was told the yard was fenced in for dogs. The yard was in fact not fenced in, I was blatantly lied to and on arrival had to massively change my life to accommodate this. No attempt was made after inquiring with the company to make things right and now as I’m breaking the lease for this place they want all of the rent for the remainder of the lease plus a lease break fee even though it’s less than a month from the normal non-renewal policy. When I arrived at this place the washing machine didn’t work, the garage is falling apart and tiny and there are holes through the walls to the outside. The basement isn’t even entirely intact and there is exposed wiring in what they call closet space. Prompt maintenance though, it only took a month and a half or so to actually be able to do laundry here.

I have called twice and received no response. Experiencia negativa: I rented from them for a year. At the start of my lease they asked me to move the utilities into my name, as soon as the utilities move under my name I got a frantic email from Dwell asking me to move them back to Dwell. Eventually I had to find time in my day to sit on a conference call with Dwell and the Utility company to get the utilities back under Dwell. When I actually got my keys and moved in I saw that I had 1 house key, and two random keys that don't go to anything in or around the house. In the fall I messaged Dwell asking if the fireplace in our house had been cleaned recently, they messaged me back saying "our insurance doesn't let people use the fireplace" and implied that this was noted in our lease. I looked back at our lease to see what it says about the use of fireplaces, but there was nothing. I informed them that they neglected to include this in the lease, to which they were like, oh well that sucks I guess. In the winter we got ants coming up into the center of our house, we tried to get rid of them with traps and multiple types of sprays for months. I put in a maintenance request after I saw that nothing we were doing was working on the ants. The maintenance person came, saw the ant problem and that we were trying multiple methods to get rid of them (also we deep cleaned the entire area), and he said he'd pass it up to his bosses to see what they can do. We didn't hear anything from it again. The rest of the winter we fought the ants until it was warm enough outside to turn off the heat, then the ants stopped coming up. Also in the winter I heard our furnace start to make scream, I put in a maintenance request, week or so later the furnace died. I put in new maintenance request to get the furnace fixed, which they finished about 4 hours later. They then messaged me and my fiancé that it was up to us to do most of the maintenance of the common areas (there are 2 units in the house). This was directly contrary to the lease, I spent the next few months negotiating with them what maintenance duties were up to them (on top of dealing with the ants). In the spring we were informed the house was going to be sold and there would be an inspector coming to look over the house. The inspector took picutures of the house (including the inside). Later on I got curious about the sale, so I looked it up online and saw a bunch of pictures of the house and all our personal items. In the summer, a branch of fell and ripped a cord off of the side of our house. I put in a maintenance request to get the cord and branchtaken care of since it was draped across our backyard. 2 weeks later I reach out to check on the progress, they said the cord needed to be taken care of by the electicsl company, and that the request wasn't a high priority (there was a big rain storm that had done damage all around, including to our house). 2 weeks after that I reached out again cause the request still wasn't taken care of, thats when they finally took care of it. After the house was sold, the new owner moved our lease out of Dwell (September). Recently (on Dec 6th) I got a notification that my rent to Dwell was over due. I had paid the final month of rent under Dwell to Dwell in full. I attempted to reach out to Dwell unsuccessfully multiple times, and I tried to access my old account to look at the charges, but couldn't. Everyday I got emails and texts saying they were adding late fees, I again continued to reach out to Dwell with no success until the 9th. On the 9th I received an email thanking me for notifying them of vacating, this really freaked me out. A little later I received a text saying i could disregard all of the past emails and texts, including the one about vacating, and ending it with "I apologize for any incontinence this may have caused you" (yes incontinence not inconvenience). Dwell has shown they do not care about their tenants, all they want is money. They have been a constant and unavoidable source of stress, and they wont even attempt to fulfill their end of the lease. Do not lease through them.

Experiencia fantástica: I have lived here in my apartment and been renting from Dwell for the last three years. I have found that the property manager Heidi has been awesome and has been understanding and has made my experience here a 5+ star. Dwell does take care of any issues, maintenance or otherwise in a timely manner. I have found the maintenance crew has been awesome and very respectful and what they do and how they do it and treating me as a tenant. Experiencia negativa: ****Run FAR away from this management company.**** They do not answer their phone. They do not respond to multiple voicemails. Instead, they email their tenants asking us to leave "positive Google reviews" for a chance to win a $100 Amazon giftcard. Try actually communicating with your tenants, and maybe you'll naturally EARN more positive reviews. These people are clearly out to take advantage of people, putting ridiculous clauses in their leases to charge people as much as possible upon move out. They have no respect for your time. DO NOT RENT OR DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Dear Dwell Management: RETURN YOUR PHONE CALLS.

Experiencia negativa: **I would strongly recommend avoiding this company for any properties!** I have rented with a couple other property management companies and this is only time I not only did not receive my security deposit back, but was charged almost $1100, in cleaning and damages. It was nearly $2000 in total. They charged me like I did had not cleaned it at all, or left it in a complete mess. I see from at least 1 other review that Dwell has done to them as well. From my experience since they bought my apartment from the previous company, they give you petty charges for anything they can get away with. They also increased the rent significantly after the 1 year they owned it. They also did not honor the month to month lease under the previous management and forced me to complete the new lease after I let them know I was moving, or pay $2800 to break the lease. **Here are some of the ridiculous charges I was recently presented with after moving out.** $40 to replace smoke detectors and CO detectors that were all working fine. $50 to clean the refrigerator I had cleaned inside and out. $125 to replace a slightly leaking sink that I didn't cause, $75 for nail holes I did not create $200 for cleaning a ceiling that was not dirty or discolored $330 for cleaning light switches, doors, window blinds, outlets $225 for replacing window blinds that were in poor condition when I moved in under the previous management company. I had also let them know that they needed to be replaced with the last maintenance requests before leaving. By far the worst property management company I have had to deal with. They clearly do not care about tenants, and do anything they can to squeeze as much money out of you as possible.

Experiencia negativa: To be clear we did not use these people after a short conversation on the phone with Alex. He was abrupt, callus and rude on the phone. Though I did not want to use their services and just needed a local contact for my short-term rental, he informed me that they would do everything and take 15% from bookings. I am posting this for anyone searching for management, I suggest you go elsewhere if you're looking for a personable collaboration with your property and Rochester. You can tell by their response that they do not listen.

Experiencia negativa: Do not rent from this company! I have lived in several different apartments over the years, and this is the first time I did not get my security deposit back. On top of it Dwell is asking that I pay an extra $1100 for “damages” including an entire new door without stating any reason. I patched and sanded nail holes, and cleaned to the best of my ability. I even had a friend help me that worked for merry maids, which is a cleaning company who gets hired by other rental properties to clean. I never would have signed a lease with these crooks had I known they were going to steal my money when I moved out.

Experiencia negativa: Maintenance requests were consistently ignored. Homeless people would come into our building and smoke meth. We asked multiple times for the security doors to be fixed so my family (including a newborn) could feel safe, and this issue was never resolved. We moved out of their property due to their negligence. After moving they continuously rescheduled our pre move out inspection and never gave us the results of the inspection. They are now trying not only keep our security deposit, but also charge us $200 for things that are their responsibility to take care of. They have provided no evidence of the “damage” that we are being charged for. Do not rent from this company.

Experiencia negativa: Please don't do it, don't pay for the application, they will invent or look for a reason to steal that money and they will tell you that you don't qualify for such ridiculous reasons, and you have to be calling them to find out a result after filling out the application, they steal the money and you never have contact with them again. Experiencia negativa: Boone location- maintenance does a terrible job at snow removal, side walks are always dangerous and never cleared. Maintenance also always takes MULTIPLE tenant parking spaces for trailers or snow plows when there is barely enough parking for tenants as it is.

Experiencia negativa: We had issues with them from the beginning. As a property owner, this company was EXTREMELY difficult to get ahold of by phone. Just about everything to do with getting the property up for rent (eg Making appointments with the photographer, house cleaner, & carpet cleaner) got dropped. I ended up having to make the appointments myself, at the last minute. Emails can sometimes take weeks to be answered, and when I tried to reach someone at the actual office, there was nobody there. Invoices for property maintenance were mixed up with other properties, and we ended up being charged for the house cleaning that should have been paid for by the tenants. Overall, we are NOT happy with this company.

And Althea the property manager took over....ohhhh let me tell you....stress level down 2000%! No lie. Everything from the smallest issue to the largest issue they have handled with care and respect. From the Owner...to Althea..to Maintenance. Trust me....they had a ton of back order work to do. I have never rented from a more efficient property team. Althea is the BEST PERSON EVER AS LONG AS YOU STAY IN CONTACT. She treats you and everyone else the same with respect and dignity. They really helped the properties out with the Covid pandemic relief programs. Literally...knocking on your door to remind you and help you out if you need or wanted it. Experiencia negativa: The rental group is very hard to get a hold of unless you are looking for a new property. My grass was quite long all summer despite efforts to reach out multiple times. Moving out was challenging as there were no instructions provided and I could not reach anyone. The tenant above me was yelling night and day and I was told nothing could be done about it.

Experiencia negativa: I've called numerous times over the past few days and haven't heard a single thing back from anyone. Their phone number listed are either disconnected or through Googles free phone service which already raises red flags. I was looking to rent from them but the lack of communication and eye witness testimony of the problems within the properties has deterred me elsewhere. Claiming responsibility but do nothing to fix the problem isn't solving anything. I will be seeking an apartment elsewhere not owned by Dwell Management Company. As a previous tenant with vast experience dealing with slumlords and multiple court cases this while company has lawsuit written all over it.

Experiencia negativa: No landlord becomes a large landlord by being a good landlord. I caution any prospective renters in Rochester, MN against renting a Dwell property. I particularly caution anyone from renting a Dwell property that is owned directly by a Dwell employee - such properties are quite neglected (do a rental licensing search online with the City of Rochester to see the owner and registered agent). Dwell charges all renters a $10 fee per month for the "privilege" of accessing your lease, submitting maintenance requests, and paying your rent; that's $120 per year towards a charge of questionable legality. Dwell has expanded rapidly and does not have the staffing or resources to manage their portfolio. The maintenance persons on staff and the persons/entities they contract with to respond to maintenance concerns are slow and perform lackluster work. You can guarantee infrequent lawn care in summer, dangerously infrequent shoveling in winter, and an overall inattention to the habitability of their rentals. You can expect rental homes with surface-level construction that hides underlying problems with the building's core. The bare minimum is the ceiling for Dwell, but don't expect them to even reach that. Overall, you don't have much choice when renting in Rochester, but Dwell should not be near the top of that list. EDIT: I want to specifically respond to part of Dwell's written response - "Please note that we do everything we can to make sure that we can provide the best service we are allowed to by the owners. As a 3rd party management company we are limited to providing the services that our owners allow. We work with them to provide the best services that we know." My unit was owned by the owner of Dwell Management Group. Lol.

Experiencia negativa: I had a terrible experience with Dwell Management managing my property. After 5+ months on the rental market in a highly desirable Rochester area, the house did not rent during spring high season or summer. We couldn't figure out why. I came to do an onsite inspection (we live out-of-state), and I found the property in bad shape. In addition to overgrown weeds blocking the house from a busy street in an upscale area, there was horrible communication on multiple issues (left lots of messages with slow or no returned calls and told they wanted emails for a "paper trail" but we couldn't get prompt email responses either!) and lack of accountability that resulted in an unrepairable relationship. The house was NOT SECURED (2 back doors NOT LOCKED and 1 back door PHYSICALLY OPEN) with no explanation about who was responsible, who had been in my house, or how they planned to address the issue. One family told me they physically went to the office to submit an application IN-PERSON after not getting calls returned or being able to submit an online application. Rental sign was NOT posted (though we were told there was one posted). These issues should be MAJOR CONCERNS and RED FLAGS for property owners considering this group, or if they've already signed the contract, at least go check your property regularly, follow-up on issues, and seek accountability. We ultimately had to leave the unproductive and increasingly toxic relationship with this management company. Zero stars, do not recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Living at one of the Dwell Management Group locations has been nice. However thanks to Manager of the year Mrs. Althea has made things easier to deal with. Meaning: she listen to your concerns & get the job done in a timely manner. Shes as helped several of her tenants get rental assistance when we were unable to pay our rent due to Covid 19. She really helped out alot and did what she could to stop her tenants from becoming homeless or evicted. I give her 10 stars & 5 thumbs for all that she's done. God continue to bless her.

Experiencia negativa: Currently living in a place managed by Dwell and You can hardly get in contact with anyone. They didn’t reach out to us until a day before rent was due to let us know they were the new company to go to for that. They didn’t get us garbage cans for almost two weeks and when they finally did they gave us ONE for a building of four or more people in it. There is trash all over the yard they STILL haven’t come to pick up even when I placed a maintenance order for it like they said to. The people who are supposed to plow when it snows only plows a straight line through the lot but not any of our parking spaces and doesn’t shovel the sidewalk. They charge extra with whatever way to pay them for rent. Never been more disappointed in a management company.

Thanks to my property Manager Althea, who took every extra step to assist me in getting the proper assistance to get my rent paid. God knows I did not have it. Experiencia negativa: I'm absolutely surprised by the reviews being so high they must treat there Rochester properties different then the ones in Minneapolis, this Management is the slimest one I've personally seen, not only do they try to charge you for everything including things your not responsible for, they are liars go into your apartments with no legal notice, take MONTHS to fix anything if they fix it at all, it tools months of our tenants complaining for them to even clean up the properties, leaving couches outside, stoves in the hallways ect, they rent to mostly drug addicts and won't be held accountable for it. I will say 100% good luck if your renting from them . I would add the pictures I have but currently being threatened to be sued over things they failed to fix anyway . Good luck.

Experiencia negativa: Do not ever even try to rent through this company. They do not communicate or answer any questions. They told me i had the place I applied for then stopped answering my emaols for 2 weeks then after I called the owner i got a email that they had already leased it after i had already paid for the background check and credit check and passes and provided them with every thing they had asked me to within 24 hrs of them asking. Shady company!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Alex has been a stellar landlord the past few years. He is respectful, kind, and considerate of any needs you may have. I even needed to change the terms of my lease upon my second renewal because I wasn't quite sure if I'd be staying another year, or for a few months due to educational plans. Alex was able to work out a new lease that worked for both of us, and I was able to move out smoothly a few months after renewing my lease. Alex also responds to requests for repairs and maintenance quickly and makes sure that those services are done well. When Alex had outside repair companies do services he also made sure to hire trusted local businesses that provided high quality services. Overall, I highly recommend Alex and the Dwell Management Group for renting in Rochester.

Experiencia fantástica: Alex has, hands down, been a great landlord! Coming from a first time renter he really set the bar high, this is the company and person you want to be working with.
