Experiencia positiva: I would like to give Vince 5 stars as he asks people to do, and originally did because I really like the guy. However .. Vince was really great throughout my purchase experience. He was accommodating at the drop of a hat. Very friendly. But I have 2 points of contention: 1 I specifically asked about septic requirements and code and was told there are none and that I can just tie in to the city in about 5 years for about $5k. I'm moving in from out of state, so my home state had very specific septic requirements. After moving in, I received letters and emails from the county that I am out of compliance and had until the end of the month to get into compliance or I could be fined $500 a day for each day I remained out of compliance. 2 Vince promised me a home warranty. I never received it. After I moved in, I contacted Vince 3 times and my requests remained unanswered until I changed my 5 star rating to a 3. Vince then contacted me quite irritated about his star rating. His behavior actually quite surprised me. When I voiced the reason for my change, rather than be considerate towards my situation, he remained perturbed at having lost 2 stars. The house needed the water treatment, water heater, garbage disposal replaced. There is electric work to be done. The hvac needs serviced. Approximately $2k in septic service. Having the promised warranty to offset these expenses even the slightest would have been nice. Again, very nice guy. But, unfortunately, my experience is one of a lack of follow through on unkept promises, petulant behavior when he did not get what he wanted and lack of concern with what I was promised. I do wish Vince the very best and anticipate this review to be constructive criticism.
