Experiencia negativa: The worst I have ever met! They don’t respond to maintenance and tried everything to take your deposit. I spent so much money repairing their DR Horton home that kept falling apart! and now when i moved out they are billing me for 2000$ plus stating i left tape at the top of the garage that was holding the garage mesh, we cleaned every wall yet being charged to repaint 85$ per wall, back mesh fell off in the storm and we must pay for a simple slide mesh that they can slide back on n not our fault! claimed sawdust is found on blinds and it costs to clean it, we don’t even know what sawdust is and we hand cleaned every blind… BUT I AM READY TO GO TO COURT WITH THEM SCAMMERS! trying to bleed people’s pockets. We lived at the property for two years before they took over from DR Horton and had no issues now they stated that we got a new rental and they want the house back EXACTLY as we got it 2 years ago! A house with towel holders, door knobs everything that fell apart and we had to fix them! DR Horton was aware of everything that was wrong with the property as the builders used cheap material.., we had AC issues, you name it we had it all and put in many times for maintenance!

Experiencia negativa: This was the worst referral I have ever received, Drew Doheney practically put me out of business and the refere will never send anyone to this fraud again. This is not a credible management company; as others have publicly stated, they do not communicate or respond to their paying clients in any capacity. What they did do, was move in tenants who destroyed my property, Drew Doheney left me with out pf pocket bills in the tens of thousand. They allowed one tenant to destroy our entire cottage by painting all of the custom flooring and grout. Drew Doheney completely ignored my wishes as property owner, allowing the tenant to move out with a full refund of his deposits and no requirements to leave my property as he found it. This came at the cost of months of vacancies to repair the destruction they caused. Every single tenant Drew Doheney placed in my properties cost me far more than their entire year of rent covered. Not one of his tenants ever paid rent on time --for the record, Drew Doheney keeps those late fees, the landlord gets late rent and Drew Doheney collects the penalty. If he promises you a tenant has a solid gurantor, they are nowhere to be found at move out time. Drew Doheney lied from day one, telling me perspective tenants had "small' dogs, that were in fact 80 pounds. If you are looking to give someone 10% to ruin your property and damage your business, then call Drew Doheney, otherwise run, they are dangerous and could never operate in a legitimate environment. On the morning of December 14th I requested a copy of our management agreement, that day. They did not furnish it for three days. In the almost three decades we have owned property in Savannah we have never experienced anything as bad as Drew Doheney.

Experiencia negativa: I hired Drew's team to manage my recently renovated property in Georgetown that I had moved out of 3 months prior. The experience started well, but once I signed the management contract they became very unresponsive. They told me I needed to remove the working washer and dryer from the property and some leftover paint in the garage before renters moved in and paint a couple of the closets. They quoted me an INSANE amount of money to have this done by one of their preferred contractors. I had an issue where the key box needed to be changed out ASAP due to a security concern. It took them over 4 days to go out to the property and change the key box code once I was finally was able to get ahold of them. It also took them over a week to verify the work that I had done on the property. They had my property under their management for over a month and did not show it to a single perspective renter. I know for a fact this was not due to lack of interest in the property as I had numerous perspective renters call me directly before I forwarded them to Drew's team. I ended up having to put the house up for sale as I could not afford to have it sit empty any long. It sold in 2 days. It was in a popular area. If they had put any effort into having it rented, it could easily have been occupied within a week. Would not recommend this company at all.

Experiencia fantástica: Drew and his team did an outstanding job managing my house for 13 years after my family and I moved to our next military assignment.  Over that time Drew provided excellent oversite of my house as a rental, keeping it well maintained, and always rented.  When I decided it was time to sell, Drew managed the preparation of the house for the sale (painting, maintenance, etc) and kept it rented until we had a buyer.  Drew and his team got the asking price for the house and I could not be happier.  He handled the entire process, and I did not even have to be there for the closing.  Absolute expert who I would use again and recommend to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: Drew is unethical, immoral, and dishonest. He does not meet tenants needs in fixing rental properties. He also lies to the homeowner about things that are wrong with the houses. I would not recommend using him for property management, or for any reason.

Experiencia negativa: Initially when I first got in contact with this company they were quick with their response and I was able tour the property the same day which I was happy about. Then once I put in my application and paid the money all communication stopped. I left several voicemails no response at all. They also NEVER picked up their phone the times I did call. The background check came back and everything. Even if they reached out to say I was denied the place I would've been satisfied. But I received no further communication with them. I feel like they are not an honest company and took my money and ran.

We were ready to upgrade in 2023 and remembered him, sent him a text, and he immediately reached out. Drew helped us sell the old house and buy our dream home quickly and efficiently.

Drew was patient and answered all my questions. His team took care of everything that was house related and would check in with me on approval of new renters or repairs. I received pictures and a status update on the house after a walk through while renters were living there. When I sold the house, Drew and his team made everything stress free! As both a first time landlord and first time seller, I'm so happy to have worked with them. Emails, phone calls, and texts were always replied to in a fast and professional manner. Experiencia negativa: Incredibly unresponsive throughout the entire rental application process. Denied our application because we have three vehicles and there were only two allotted parking spots for the rental unit. We weren't concerned about the parking given that our roommate would be moving in a few months and there was guest parking we could utilize in the meantime. We told them from the start that there were three adults and three total vehicles but they chose to waste our time and theirs by not telling us that they would deny us over parking. They even said that we passed the application process but denied us purely over the parking. They said if we found a solution to the problem then they could work with us but have ignored all of my texts and emails regarding it. I managed to get a team member on the phone once. The woman did not introduce herself, sounded annoyed at having to speak with me, and rushed me off the phone without answering all of my questions. Highly unprofessional behavior. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: As someone who has rented a property managed by the Drew Doheny Team, I cannot in good conscience recommend renting through him. We moved to Richmond Hill in July 2019 and rented a property that we were only able to see pictures of online. The house was lovely, in a nice neighborhood, but like most rentals was not in perfect condition (minor cosmetic issues). As a military family, we have lived in many states and I fell in love with Richmond Hill and we chose to purchase a home and make this our “final move”. We closed on a house in April and knew our lease wasn’t up until the end of July. We contacted the management team and told them the house would be ready to lease June 1, that we were moved out, and they could show it at any time as the summer is prime moving time for military families and rentals of 4 bedroom houses are coveted. We were sent a move out checklist and followed it as closely as possible. We hired professionals for carpet cleaning and pest control per the lease agreement. When it came time for the final walk through, someone from Drew’s team walked through the house and pointed out several places on walls that needed to be repainted. We have 3 children, and repainted several of the walls because you cannot clean cheap flat paint, and reminded his team member that several of the walls were “touched up” with paint before we moved in and the colors didn’t exactly match. These were noted on our move in checklist. Drew’s team sent us the move in checklist back with a quote for $750 worth of painting work that needs to be done for the walls that were noted as already like that when we moved in. To be fair, the prior policy said touch ups were allowed and while we were there it changed to fully painted walls. When we questioned his team about the charges no answers could be given about which walls they were referring to. The only answer we got was that they could return the key us for us to fix it ourselves. My husband has had several frustrating conversations with his team members and when I called to hopefully get clarity, I was also given the same runaround by Drew’s team. Drew’s team members were rude and condescending when speaking to us, overly defensive when we asked for further information, and didn’t follow through on sending of information. I am disappointed to think that they are going to charge us for things we documented meticulously on our move in check list, but I’m even more irked at the thought of them pocketing the money and not actually taking care of the things they are charging us for. We were given less than 48 hours to fix anything that was supposedly our responsibility to fix because they had tenants scheduled to move in 2 days later. We sent a letter contesting the charges and Drew Doheny himself replied that he was "doing us a favor" by renting the house early and saving us money. I was speechless. This is not how one conducts business. We have yet to resolve what is going on and there's a family, who's probably in a camper or a hotel, thinking they're going to be moving in tomorrow and now, less than 24 hours before they're supposed to move in, they're not going to be able to. The home we rented is owned by a military family and I have a pretty good hunch it'll be rented by one too. Needless to say, we will be sharing this warning with everyone to help save them from being ripped off by Drew Doheny and his team. The Military Housing office for Fort Stewart and Hunter will be contacted as well so we can make sure Drew Dohney and his team don't do any more "favors" to military families.
