But Mary never let me give up or settle for a house she knew wasn't going to be my forever home. She believed I could find something better, even when I wasn't so sure myself. She truly had my best interests at heart and was always looking out for me instead of just trying to make a sale. She was always there to answer any questions or concerns. We took the process step by step, unfortunately at first with someone else as we didn’t know Mary yet. With the first agent we worked with the process was long, trying and stressful. My brother and sister in law worked with Mary and told us she’s awesome and give her a call. My husband and I decided to do just that. Within a matter of days of contacting and switching to Mary she got us in touch with our mortgage lender (Steve @ Mortgage 1 who is also awesome) and we got our pre-approval, she sent us houses and got us showings, and our offer accepted. All in less than a week! Mary made sure our offer was aggressive enough we didn’t have to compete with other buyers but also reasonable for us as the buyer especially considering the market. I started in fall of 2022 but with the market as it was, I decided to take a break and start again in late spring of 2023.
