Experiencia negativa: Rented a home for 1 year while my house was being built. Took care of it like my own and had to go through hell to get any security deposit back. Document everything and take pictures and do the walk through so you can defend yourself.

Experiencia negativa: My wife and I recently relocated from NYC to Charlotte and tried to rent a loft space from Jamison. We spoke with "Mickey" and he was very curt and somewhat rude. After giving them everything they asked for twice he then offered to reimburse our application fee and cancel our application when I asked how long the approval process was. We then received an email stating the owner went with another applicant. But, upon looking on Zillow and other sites, the place is still available, and the price is lower than the original asking. I reached out to Mickey to ask why this is and why weren't we reconsidered, I haven't received any reply. This left a very bad feeling with my wife and I. I felt like we were being discriminated against for being from NYC or something else. We found a space at The Reverie Belmont Apartments in Belmont NC and are very happy. I've never written a review before, but this "Mickey" character really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst rental property I have ever dealt with, starting with the people who answer the phones. I most definitely don't recommend this company at all. They are very unprofessional to the point that they hang up the phone on me.. if you are professional and you are consider a company and hanged up on a customer is the worst. I rated negative star.

Experiencia fantástica: What a crazy experience it is selling your home in today’s market. Paul and his team did a great job of making it easy for me too get results. They scheduled contractors, inspectors, stagers and all the other things that go with selling a house. We actually had to sell this house three times which was absolutely crazy. They are creative marketers and I was happy with my decision to partner with them

Experiencia fantástica: Did not end up renting from this management company, but would highly recommend if you're looking for a place to rent or if you're a property owner, for two reasons: 1.When I called, someone actually picked up the phone and helped by answering all my questions. 2. They refunded my application fee when the unit I enquired about went off-market BEFORE me even asking them to do so. (trustworthy) At a time when management companies are increasingly hiding behind frustrating, impersonal, unreliable, automated services and phone prompts throughout the entire application process, it was so refreshing to speak to a real live human being at Jameson. That kind of legit service will always have my vote.

Experiencia positiva: They handled renting out our house when we moved out of NC. Owner and ladies in the office were super nice. The guy in charge of maintenance and repairs in my opinion was rude and didn't make sure the contractors did good work. To be honest I am not the easiest person to work for. The tenant was not happy with the repairs. I had 2 independent people inspect the house and repairs were shoddy and some unfinished. When it was time to sale the house I had no confidence in them so I went another route to make sure the repairs and upgrades would bring the best value. The way it was presented to let them handle the rental managenment was great and affordable. I think it would be good for local owners who could check up on repairs. I am not going to spend time looking for actual pictures but this list shows things the tenant and I were upset about. Holes left open after repairs . The tenant actually wrote this list and my independent realtor documented it all with pictures and then some other issues.

Paul was highly recommend by a local colleague for whom he had helped downsize to a smaller home. Paul took great care of me then and filled me in on many aspects of the Charlotte area. We didn't move then, but fast forward to January 2020 and we moved. Experiencia negativa: My wife and I have made 2 appointments with Vernon Davis to start looking at homes to buy. That being said, the first appointment was cancelled due to a family emergency supposedly and then today we were supposed to meet again. While we were waiting we get a call from Vernon with him stating “ oh I thought we were supposed to meet tomorrow.” I can’t vouch for the others that work there but this guy is not the way to go.

At the time I was just checking my options. During that initial meeting I knew I found the right person because he didn’t pressure me only gave guidance and options. Experiencia negativa: They started showing my girlfriend's house while she still lived in it. Said the tours would be supervised and they were absolutely not, she stood in the front yard and let people wander around the house at their leisure. They put a sign in the yard before she was moved out as well (meaning multiple people were knocking on her door/parked in front of the house all the time). In summary they had no consideration for the fact that she was still living there and just wanted to make sure they had someone lined up for the moment she moved out. Very unprofessional. Edit: they called and asked her to take this review down and promised they wouldn't show the house again until she moved out, and then showed it the same day Edit 2: they are emailing me personally to ask that I take this review down.

Paul met with us personally to understand our goals and desires with our investment home, and from there he searched for properties that met our criteria. Paul personally drove my wife and I around to multiple homes on multiple different days to give us a full sampling of what was available. I loved how Paul looked at purchasing an investment home from an unemotional, analytical perspective--he simply refused to allow us to pay too much for a home that wasn't worth it. He had spreadsheets showing costs, ideal purchase prices, and projected rates of return for each home we looked at. After a short time we were under contract, and we just recently closed on our first rental property a few weeks ago. We were in the market for a real estate agent with a property management service. I approached another large property management firm in Charlotte , but was barely given the time of day. Experiencia negativa: I completely agree with Holly Shoaf’s review below. When renting a property from Jamison Realty, be sure to document (WITH PICTURES) when you move in of existing conditions. Jamison Realty will charge you for items that are out of your control and within normal wear and tear. We were charged for multiple items that were unsatisfactory when we moved in and also listed on our move in inspection. When moving out, do not expect your full security deposit back for Jamison Realty will find items to charge you for. I have rented from several other property management companies around Charlotte and never experienced this feeling of dishonesty as we have with Jamison Realty. Their Director of Property Management, Chieftain Conant, will be sure to show how little he cares by his attitude and the way he speaks to his customers. If that is how they make their money, so be it… This has been a learning experience for sure. Jamison Realty does an excellent job of finding great tenants for their clients, and unfortunately, their way of saying “Thank you” is by ripping them off on their security deposit. I want future renters to avoid this frustration, so be sure to document EVERYTHING with pictures prior to moving in and as you are vacating a property they manage.

Experiencia negativa: Jamison acts as the Property Manager for a rental property next to our home in Brandon Oaks. Although the families who have lived in the home have been very nice, Jamison does absolutely NOTHING to maintain the property. We own our home and must maintain it per the rules set forth by our HOA but Jamison is not made to maintain their rental properties.

Experiencia fantástica: I have five rental properties managed by Jamison Realty since 2011. All properties are rented out and collecting the rent checks on-time. Jamison will find you great tenants that are responsible. Here’s my experience: I bought my first rental property in 2008 and the second rental property in 2009, after the first tenant moved out, I could not find qualified candidates and tried selling both properties under market price just to unload debt obligations/mortgage pymts.. One day I heard Jamison Realty commercial on the radio, so out of desperation I reached out to the company. Boom!!!! Both of the places were rented within a few weeks. Subsequently, I purchased more properties; using the Jamison Realty as the buyer’s agent for all three other rental properties. The company/Paul Jamison provided the great insights, expertise, and advised on the purchase of the properties. Jamison Realty has never disappointed me. They are very responsive on every inquiry. They will work with you to find solution to every problem.
