Experiencia negativa: New review: Editing this review because wow. This house was absolutely filthy when I moved in. They refused to clean it even when I contacted them with photo documentation (dozens of photos capturing absolutely disgusting locations). I have someone at this house every couple of days fixing something that is broken because it is in such a terrible state of disrepair. I have never in 41 years moved into a house that was so disgusting. Absolutely shocking. 2 stars for actually repairing some things, but also 2 stars for letting us move into a house in this state. Huge fail. They also tried to overcharge me for rent twice and screwed up on the lease terms in my lease. Hands down the unprofessional and terrible rental agency I’ve ever worked with. Old review: Milca was very responsive and helpful! So happy we were able to make this situation work and get into the house. There are a lot of predatory agencies out there who take your money and never contact you again. PURE did not do that. I was initially rejected due to a candidate who applied earlier being approved. They notified me. Then when that candidate fell through, they got back in touch and did not ask for more money. Big respect for the good communication and not being greedy.

Experiencia negativa: Don't rent from these people!! And I'm not just saying from this office in particular, I'm saying all of them. They don't answer the phone when you call, they let their voicemail machines do the talking and if you're expecting a response, that's a no go. They love giving out extra charges on their tenants. Like"Surprise you owe us this amount". These people are as crooked as they can get. So again heed my warning. Peace BTW they moved from the address mentioned above. It's 5065 Deer Valley road, Antioch. Update!! They're trying to double up on charges even after I told them I already paid all of July fees. I was wondering how it came out to be $629.00. Nice try but girlie girl ain't stupid.

The first property I looked at, went to someone else, but luckily I was able to transfer my application over to a space I ended up liking even more! Milca helped me in doing this. She offered very quick responses. She was very kind, informative, and professional. It was the most seamless application process I've ever had, so thank you, Milca!

Experiencia negativa: Only leaving one star because I can't leave less. They rent out roach and vermin infested properties and will not fix the issue while you live there. They buy infested homes, make no renovations and then rent for high amounts. Then they will charge you for leaving a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and gardening supplies that they purchased before you moved in that were left in the garage. Stay far away from this company and do not rent any properties from them. My son had to have surgery due to the mice and roach infestation at 3625 Dewitt act Antioch Ca. Do not rent this home next

Experiencia negativa: Sent my ID and they claim they could not upload it. KRIS states that she can not schedule a viewing date and if I can sent a copy of my passport or have someone else send their ID so they can set up a self guided viewing. I don't trust them .now they have a copy of my ID and I can't even view the property. She says she will see if the property manger can find time to do an I person showing. Never mind. Don't trust the. Seems shady. I have all contact threads. Incase anything happens with my identification or any theft occurs with my information. This online rental process is scary and it's a shamed we have to go through this hoping not to get scammed.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid renting with this company, the employees are rude and incompetent, the properties are not maintained, they don't answer calls, they don't follow the law and be sure to keep proof of all communications. I was called liar and had to show them their own emails to show they approved of things they said they didn't.

Experiencia positiva: I appreciate that I get the rent sooner. I understand that the price of things have gone up. What I don’t appreciate is being swindled of my money. Ever since Pure Properties took over, they take 10% of what I pay in repairs and take $27/month because the renter paid his rent on time. This comes out of my money. It’s insane. Really wish I could find another company to take over.

My first tenant rented for almost 7 years and then had to move. Select 1 found a new renter in as little as 3 weeks.

Were they dragging furniture across rooms to make the carpet bulge? That is not normal wear and tear. Also, I am being charged over $1900 to "touch up the paint". I thought a touch up would be $300 or $400, not $1900. What constitutes normal wear and tear?

With select 1 my first rental home was easy and affordabel. They are extremly helpfull with any of my concerns or needs... Select 1 is a company i would always recomand for anyone looking to rent a home. They never give you a cold sholder instead they are always looking for ways to better your stay. If I have had any question I have ever had they were fast to respond. Untill i am ready to buy my own home SELECT 1 REALTY is were I need to be. Experiencia negativa: It was the most affordable we could find for a while and we stayed for 6.5 years. We loved Deborah who left the company as we moved, Bob who comes and sprays for bugs, and the maintenance man is also very nice as well as a man named Bob who did our pre-inspection. Everyone else we dealt with, I'd rather had not. Moving out is the issue. Move out instructions were extensive & we kept being told certain things were mandatory & that a pre-inspection wasn't necessary but I knew better. During that inspection we were told half the things they were trying to push we didn't even have to worry about. Then they tried to tell us we didn't drop the keys off & would be charged and after sending a picture of the evidence they still didn't say anything until we came to the office. Upon moving out I cleaned what I was told and took videos. I was never sent an itemized list with charges for each item from Select 1, only an invoice from the cleaning company they hired. The cleaning company put general cleaning and $400. Then Select 1 had them change the invoice to "deep cleaning" and add a list of various items they supposedly had to deep clean to justify keeping $400. I sent multiple videos showing half of the things on the invoice already clean and the head of maintenance just stopped emailing me back. Just super unprofessional and wrong, the cleaning company was obviously lying about what they had to clean and doctored the invoice to reflect the charges and Select 1 is doing nothing about it allowing them to do so. When you move in or out, take pictures and videos of EVERYTHING and document EVERYTHING. I honestly can't believe how unprofessional this move out process has been and still is being that I still haven't heard back regarding my video proof of clean items.

Straight slumlords that make you feel like a nuisance for trying to repeatedly get maintenance in whatever POS property they rent to you. Rented a few properties through them out of desperation and the service and employees were the same everytime. Deal with them at your own risk!

I have been calling Sandy, Deborah, and the office for 3 weeks now and no one is answering. It’s frustrating and very annoying. Why make people go through the stress of filling and submitting an application and wasting money just to not answer or reply at all?!!!!!! Seriously Select 1 realty is terrible.

It’s had roaches before I moved in on the first of April 2021, she later told me that last exterminator came out in September 2020. She does not respond to my text messages or emails. She also does not return my phone calls when I call. I have a one year old daughter that she knows about and this is no way to live! I have NEVER lived with roaches and this is my first apartment on my own but It’s disgusting!!!!!! And it’s making me very depressed on top of my post partum depression that I’m still dealing with. The whole complex has roaches! They refuse to have the exterminator spray the entire complex so I’m going to move out. Deborah also mentioned she shouldn’t of moved me in so soon. Very unprofessional and heartless.

They are also able to get tenants very quickly when he there is vacancy. Deborah, the property manager also help me on the new rental house purchases because I’m not familiar with local area. In that time frame me & my family rented many of their properties, and the properties was exactly the home's & space I needed (4 & 5 bdrms, 3 baths & 2 livingrms & formal dining rms). They handled every single need that arose with the properties and I never had a real issue with them as the Landlords, and they never had a problem with me as a tenant also, Deborah Bailey was the person I always dealt with and I give her props- kudos Deborah as she knew my preferences in homes, locations, space etc and I worked out of town so I wasn't always available during their business hrs, and God bless her as she would schedule after hr & weekend appts for me to view the properties she picked & evaluated for me and all my furniture etc... she was the best !!! Thank you Select 1 Realty for a marvelous rental experience!!!

If you are looking to rent from this company please take your business elsewhere. It's not worth it and they will make you waste your money on application fees only do turn around and deny you.

We rented a house with a dish anttena and when we vacated the house they charge $70 to remove it. When we didn't even have that tv provider. And they will deduct $385 from your deposit for cleaning the carpet even tho we hired a professional carpet cleaner before we vacated the house. Horrendous customer service. NEVER AGAIN!
