At our first house we met I knew he was a good guy and a great realtor …no pressure and had knowledge of the area and directed us towards the homes he knew would be right for what we were looking for. Experiencia negativa: I reached out via Redfin app asking a question about a property that I was interested in. I added that I would be working with another real estate agent when I started the process but I was interested and had a question about the property. Instead of the "family friendly" response that is advertised about Anthony Cohen, I received a message back saying, "ask your realtor." I have not signed with a realtor and had a simple question about the property that I was interested in. I explained my situation about having a question but no realtor yet and again got the following response back: Redfin connected us. My name is Tony Cohen, I'm a realtor. I can answer your questions, if you're my client. But if you want to work with another Realtor you should ask them your questions, since that's their job... So apparently since im not paying him, I cant ask a question about the property that I was interested in and potentially going to purchase. Horrible customer service when inquiring with a question about the homes ad. I wanted to be transparent and up front to let them know that I would be working with another Realtor but had questions about the ad to see if the process should be started. Apparently you have to pay Tony if you have questions. That doesn't seem like a good way to maintain or gain clients. The realtor I have reached out too was willing to answered questions with no sarcasm or limit to what could be asked.

Experiencia fantástica: First and foremost let me say that To y Cohen whom I barely knew when I contacted him about becoming our Real estate/Broker, made a choice to assist us regarding an issue we were having with another realtor. We were under the assumption that we would not be able to do a release with this agent/broker! Tony took it upon himself to reach out to his team attorney as to whether we had any legal ties to prevent us from hiring Tony as our realtor! Tony was not even our Realtor at this juncture, nor did he push himself on us. Tony with some legal guidance was able to get us a release and we were able to have him as our realtor. Although there was no contract with Tony, he came out and listened to us and our needs! Tony’s personality was warm, inviting, personal and we became friends! Tony spent time with us just getting to know us and us being able to know him as a person not a realtor. Once we knew, mind you this did not take long, Tony became our realtor! Tony came to our home 3 times within the first week and 2 of those times was the same day because we already had an interested buyer, from another realtor reaching out to myself who happened to be the realtor for the home we were wanting but lost our first right contingency because of the other realtor. When I spoke to this realtor I told her Tony Cohen was our realtor now! Ironically both Tony and her knew of each other! Tony made the effort to come to our home and get the necessary paperwork done, go back home to a family of 7 children and turn around to be back here and present for this first viewing! Yes, 3 times in one week Tony was here when all we had from the previous realtor was 1 visit period, no open house considerations, and chose not to do a “coming soon” on the MLS when we had requested such! Tony did all of these which showed us he would treat us as if we were his only clients with the utmost priority! Although we were only with Tony for less than a month and to no fault of his own, our mortgage company came up with a deal that would allow us to stay in our home my husband’s parents had built and in the hometown where my husband grew up! Tony himself a true family man, completely understood this without judgement because he is not a person who uses judgment against a person. Instead Tony was more than happy to release us to allow us to stay in our home! It was a bittersweet experience having to tell Tony this, but he made it so easy and comfortable, who does that? For us, Tony became a friend and we hope to meet his wife and take them out to dinner in their hometown they chose because of family, like us in so many ways! I would recommend Tony Cohen as your realtor/broker over and over again, he is the most honest and genuinely trustworthy and kind person and realtor! I can say this because it took 3 realtors to find this person! I’ve included a photo of our home that will remain our home. Should there come a time that by no other choice but to sell we would ask Tony to sell this home! Thank you Tony from our home to yours!
