There are times that you deal with someone who goes the extra mile and you have to say to yourself wow that was a super nice experience. I can say Courtney answered a website "email agent" so quickly I was surprised and he didn't stop there. Through out the whole process he answered every email, text and phone call and there was plenty. We had issue after issue with the seller, the sellers foreclose lawyer and Courtney went over and beyond the call of duty. Experiencia fantástica: Joan Sroka really helped me out with my first time home buying Experience. As an Army Veteran I was not discriminated on at all and she helped me through the process flawlesly. I did see the unfortunate previous review and want to ensure that people can trust Joan Sroka and Horizon Realty, I think the previous person may just not understand that an agent cannnot accept or decline an offer only mediate the process. We are very happy with our home ini Columbia County and would definitly use her again and again.

Experiencia negativa: Beware Joan Sroka doesn't like veterans and as the selling agent for a property I was going after. I feel she is discriminatory against veterans. After complying with all her wishes as the selling agent she still decided to go with another person even though we had a verbal agreement a day before and MY offer was first and as high as the other. She never came back and asked for best and final either which would have gained her client more money. Please don't deal with this agent or company. You will regret it.

Listening to her advice on how to structure the purchase offer with inspections and closings detailed is what allowed us to outperform other offers and ultimately won us our new lakefront home. Experiencia negativa: I've never worked with a more useless unprofessional realtor in my life. Deborah Gerling is also a liar. Thankful the closing is done so we no longer have to deal with her. Sorry we had to pay commission. Will never recommend your sevices to anyone. You're better off doing your own house hunting and reporting the home repairs are completed to the financing and title company when they were not done is unethical. She tried to withhold our key to our house after paperwork was complete because you didn't like our attitude? You don't like my mother's kids? Because we don't like liars and sick of you and going to say how we feel about that? Extremely poor communication skills, every time we met up SURPRISE more paperwork or something we needed that we were not told about, nothing like driving 40 mins to find out I didn't bring something I needed. WORK WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY!

I ended working and setting up appraisal, survey, etc. myself with the help of the loan officer and title company. She had no references of who to contact, was no help at all. It was a horrible experience and the worst part was paying her commission for doing nothing!!
