Experiencia positiva: Great location with direct access to Bryan Lake, easy drives for day trips. We went Labor Day week. The rental has all the amenities we wanted, owners very responsive. Subtracted one star because several pieces of furniture need to be repaired or replaced, and this late in the season the window screens, steps, railings need a good deep cleaning of cobwebs. The steps will give you a cardio workout unloading and loading, but manageable otherwise. Also the fire ring area has a steep pitch that could make it dicey for little kids or tipsy guests. A bit of leveling would help a lot. Immediately next door a new place is going up, so some construction noise and activity, but we were out sightseeing so frequently it was wasn’t much of an issue. Workers were relatively quiet through early morning and gone by 4 pm. On the other hand, several members of our group raved about the kayak launch attached to the dock. Summary: Great location (we did hear a loon a couple of days!), comfortable though a bit worn. A few upgrades would make this a five-star.

Experiencia fantástica: Our stay could no have been more perfect. We spent the days at the private beach and experienced the amazing restaurants and wineries in the evening. The location was private but only 1 mile from the nearest winery. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. Will book again!

You can’t beat the location- right on the water with lakefront access, across the street from Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail and super close to all the hikes. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for a great layout tor cooking. An 11 out of 10! We hope to come back next year.

Loved being able to relax in the beautiful natural surroundings, as well as explore all the amazing spots in the area. Experiencia fantástica: This was the perfect get away that was only a short drive to sleeping bear. The stars were phenomenal while sitting on the dock. The host Andrew was extremely helpful and prompt on answering any questions. I will be back in the fall to check out the changing foliage.

Experiencia fantástica: We loved our stay at Tavi Haus. There were so many activities to enjoy- the kayaks, sauna, pool table and the spacious home. We were located close to all of the things we wanted to do during our stay. It was nice having the bedrooms spread out over the house with three adult couples and each had its own bathroom. Our family really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

Incredibly comfortable with great family spaces inside and out, amazingly well-equipped (kitchen has anything you would ever need), tritoon, paddleboards and kayaks were all high-end resort level and made the stay that much better. Experiencia fantástica: great place to stay! not too far from the city, close to the beach. It is a beautiful apartment with many amenities. So great for 4 people, we had lots of space and room to enjoy our vacation. E-bikes and pickle ball were such a fun addition too! Hosts were very quick to answer any messages, and accommodating to our requests. Would highly recommend! Our only hiccup was the noise at night. Not bad, but our dog was not super happy about some of the noise from neighbors and building repairs. Just a little warning for sensitive doggies! Thanks for the lovely stay!

Experiencia fantástica: Our favorite trip to MI so far! Staying right on the water is the way to go. The views were amazing. We loved being able to get in the water whenever we wanted. The boat rental was a HUGE bonus to our trip! Memories were made. The lake has a great island for picnics and swimming. The fire pit was great for our smores. We were a short drive from ice cream and Traverse City. The house was also the perfect size for us, with bunk beds for our two littles, and a room for my parents. And bringing our pup Bernie along was a treat. Andrew was quick to respond to all our needs. This was also the first time kayaking for most and it was a hit. We can not wait to go back!

Experiencia fantástica: Our stay at Long Lake Haven was wonderful. The Catered Stay hosts were easy to communicate with. The house was amazing and accommodated our family of 6 with 2 small children and 2 dogs. The living spaces were great with an open floor plan and a full bath with each of the bedrooms. The crib and children’s toys were a plus. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee pot, ice maker, wine fridge, Ninja blender, pots and pans to cook with and plenty of dishes. Soaps, laundry and dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags were plentiful. Loved the perk of ordering our groceries that were delivered and stocked prior to our stay. Thank you. The deck, lawn furniture and fire pit were awesome. Even supplied plenty of firewood for our morning and evening fires all week. We certainly enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. Awesome hosts, convenient location to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, fishing towns, local beaches, and wineries. Would definitely love to plan another vacation. It was a wonderful trip with our 2 grown children and their families. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: My extended of 11 spent a week at the Lakeside Escape in July of 2026. We had a great time! The Canadian fires and smoke kept us off the water for a couple of days but we still managed to take full advantage of the lake and water toys available to us (the kids really enjoyed the floating pad). The house was very comfortable for all of us, including the kitchen. We made our own meals every day and had plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans and other items you need in a kitchen. The only item that was missing was a griddle to make pancakes. There were lots of games to tske advantage of so we all stayed busy. The beach isn’t sandy but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the water. Traverse City and all that it brings is close by. A great rental experience!

We love that they put a detailed book together about the house which included local recommendations. Our dog loved the big backyard as well as the deck. The host was nothing less than amazing, the house is absolutely gorgeous, and the fact that it is dog friendly is always a plus. Everything about this trip was amazing, even when we were slightly late getting up and around on check out day, our host was accommodating and very helpful. It’s super close to many things to do and I would recommend this place, and this host to anyone. I can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Experiencia fantástica: This property was perfect for us in our itinerary of day trips to the north and the south, very centrally located. The house is on a busy road, but that is the main road you need to get to and fro. Additionally, there is absolutely no sound of traffic at night, the house is very well insulated and quiet and we slept like rocks. It also helped that the beds were super comfy. We traveled with our old dog, and this fenced in backyard was the best we’ve seen at any Vrbo — quite large, has a nice deck with chairs and a grill, and very private. Andy, the host, was immediately responsive to any texts. The home is well stocked in both baths and the kitchen, and we really didn’t find ourselves short on anything we needed, and that included us cooking there most evenings. Checkout was super easy. A big bonus is the Timberlands trail two minutes by car across the street. Some interesting history there, and easy to navigate trails - we saw several deer. Definitely the place to stay in the Traverse City area!

Experiencia fantástica: Our family of 9 stayed at Loons Lakehouse on Bryan Lake in the village of Lake Ann. It offered the space for 3 couples and a family of 3 with no problem. The kitchen was nicely furnished and the house was clean and comfortable. The location is ideal if you want to enjoy an evening at the Lake Ann Brewery or drive into Traverse City. Fishing off the end of the dock was very rewarding! It was early in the season and we had a problem with the hot water. We texted the host and he responded immediately. He managed a temporary fix until a service man could get to the house. He made it clear he was there to answer any questions or needs we might have. I would highly recommend Catered Stays Rentals!

Experiencia fantástica: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vasa Visit. This was our third visit. The rental is very cozy and the woodland views from the surrounding area are so peaceful. We love taking our dog walking around the neighborhood and also the easy access to the Vasa trail. There are so many restaurants and other fun things to do nearby. Andrew is a wonderful host. He is very friendly and super quick to respond. He also provided a guide with lots of ideas for fun day trips that were all organized by various locales around Traverse City. We plan to continue to return to this location on our next trip to Traverse City in the Fall.

We had 2 couples staying and we had a great time with close proximity to our respective daughter and son. We highly recommend staying at this unit.

The property is in a beautiful neighborhood, where the homes are relatively secluded by trees, and not right on top of each other. The unit was very clean, had ample room, had a fun decor, and close to basically everything. They're also pet friendly, so we were able to bring our 2 Standard Poodles along with us! Andrew was very communicative, and assisted us through a couple small hick-ups during our stay. I love that they put together very informative guide books for the surrounding area, because Northern Michigan offers a treasure trove of outdoor adventures for both winter and summer! Will definitely do a return stay in the future!

The Long Lake Haven house was perfect. Large kitchen gave us opportunities to cook and enjoy meals together. The kitchen was well stocked. The house provides plenty of comfortable sleeping areas, lots of room to be together and still places to grab some quiet time when needed. The views of the snow covered lake were so beautiful and peaceful. This newly renovated property was clean and very cozy. Andrew, the host, was very attentive. We hope to return sometime in the summer to be able to enjoy the lake. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Lincoln Lodge is the perfect secluded cabin getaway: tucked into the woods with huge, gorgeous windows that make the space feel bright, airy, and peaceful. The home is comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully set up with everything you need to settle in and relax. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat near Traverse City, we can’t recommend Catered Stays (and Lincoln Lodge) highly enough. We’ll absolutely be back!

Experiencia fantástica: We stayed in the apartment Jude's Respite for a week at the end of 2025, and honestly, it has all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. The apartment is very well equipped with everything necessary. We had some very cold days, and inside the apartment it was always warm and comfortable. A special mention to Andrew—at one point I had a question, and he called me within two minutes to help me. I would definitely come back.

Experiencia fantástica: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lincoln Lodge! We stayed between Christmas and New Year’s and loved the snow globe feeling with the massive two-story windows! We had an unexpected snowstorm, one of our last days and the plow service that came to clear the driveway was exceptional. The house were amazing and even had little goodies for the dog and dog poop bags at the ready when you walk in the door. We really appreciated the individual room temperature controls, especially with our new baby. This is a perfect spot for a family gathering and because of the lot being private it’s great if you have a dog or kiddos that need to run around and get their zoomies out. Only about 15 minutes away from Sutton Bay or downtown Traverse City, it’s the perfect landing spot. Andrew was super easy to work with. We will definitely be staying again!

The sauna was amazing after sitting on school bleachers for basketball games. We all loved playing shuffleboard. Having what feels like a theater room in the basement was great! Andrew and Ashley are extremely responsive and accommodating hosts! We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Traverse City.

Experiencia fantástica: Tavi Haus was spectacular! This was our first trip to Sleeping Bear, and a snow storm hit unexpectedly before we arrived. Our hosts, Andrew and Ashley, reached out to update us about the weather beforehand. They salted the driveway and took every precaution to make our trip as safe and stress free as possible. Ashley’s guidebook was a blessing for making the most of our time in Northern Michigan. Her recommendations for hiking trails at Sleeping Bear and restaurants in Traverse City were fantastic. Finally, Tavi Haus itself was the highlight of our trip. The house is spacious, and yet every corner feels cozy. The warm fireplace downstairs and memory foam mattresses in every bedroom made Tavi Haus a home we couldn’t wait to return to every night. If you are looking for a restful, luxurious spot to call home while exploring Northern Michigan, you need not look any further than Tavi Haus!

I worried about snow removal to get to and from session, but it was completed promptly and well communicated about when/how it would be handled. Plus, what a perfect oasis to take in the beautiful snow fall from! The unit looked out on a quiet forest, in a quaint neighborhood. Hope to come back in the future!

Clean, anything you could possibly need in the kitchen (even spices!) The downstairs game area was a great feature for the adults once the kid went to bed. The fenced in yard was huge and much appreciated since our dog came along. The location is great too for active families- a recreation area walkable distance from the house with miles of trails. And Moomers only a few minutes away! Overall a great stay for our family.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great stay at Cater Casa! The layout and size of the house was perfect for a group of five humans and two dogs The basement layout was even great, with a walkout door which helped with loading bikes in the house. One small detail I appreciated greatly was the sliding door between the kitchen and the basement steps, small details that matter when you travel with pets. The house was clean and just as pictured. The large fenced in yard was the highlight for our dogs (we have a small yard). They had the best time running around the yard, which made us all so happy! We didn’t need to contact the host while at the rental, but prior to our stay I reached out to Andrew to extend our stay by a day. He was friendly, flexible, and responded quickly. We will definitely be booking again next year when we are back in the area!

Experiencia fantástica: Responsive host! Beautiful home! Comfortable bed and nice room darkening shades. My husband and I wanted a place that was quiet and peaceful for a couple nights. This was perfect. Nestled in the trees with no neighbors around. We enjoyed the kayaks in the morning on the little private lake. There is great golfing and enjoyable dining close by. Experiencia fantástica: My family LOVED Jude’s Respite! We needed a “home away from home” while we finished up a renovation. The condo was located in the middle of EVERYTHING, bright, cheery, sparkling clean, functional, and so well appointed. I could easily cook for my family, just as I would have in my own kitchen, without bringing a thing. We were so thankful our Labrador was welcome as well. Perfect for a family of four to enjoy Traverse City! Our host Andrew was super responsive and really knows how to make a great experience for his guests.

Experiencia fantástica: Hidden Haven is truly a gem of a property in Traverse City. If you want privacy, peace and quiet, ample parking, comfy beds and pillows this is your place. It was a perfect location for all the wedding events we had on Old Mission Peninsula, close to Front Str and downtown, and a short drive to beaches along the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay. Highly recommend this clean and well stocked property with superb owner communication.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely perfect place to stay in TC, especially if you have dogs! Our teens loved the Dairy Lodge right downstairs and hung out there for a nice ice cream treat and meeting new friends each evening. The dog park is right next door and was a huge hit with our little doggies. Beach is just down the street-- easy to bring supplies (the provided cooler, beach blanket, and paddleboards were such a nice touch!) for a beautiful day of relaxation. Front Street is just a few blocks away for fun shopping and delicious food. We really appreciated the suggestion to go on the Empire Trail, which was an easy, fun, and rewarding hike with spectacular views. Andrew and his family are lovely hosts and super responsive. They truly thought of everything in the well-appointed and immaculate unit. We can't wait to return!!

Experiencia positiva: The description is accurate, lake access, pool table/TV room and sauna were all a hit. Location is very central to the really cool towns and attractions. However, everything is very outdated and the AC situation is impossible to manage. Downstairs is arctic cold to get the upstairs manageable. There is a heater to help counter but it’s a difficult game to play trying to keep rang floor comfortable.
