When we made the decision to list our house, I cold-called four realtors base on an internet search of highly recommended realtors in the area. I had to leave messages with all of them (I called on a Saturday morning.). I set up appointments to meet with both and have them look at the house and give me their thoughts on listing with them. I settled on Tessie because I felt that her recommendations for getting the house listed and sold was logical made good business sense and her overall positive energy made me feel like she was going to work hard for us. She did not disappoint. Right from the start, Tessie was focused on listening to our goals and interests. She made great recommendations about things that needed to be fixed up and other things that we shouldn’t spend money on to get the house sold quickly. She recommended to us people to do various small repairs (roofer, plumber, garage door guy) that needed to be done and they were all quick to respond and get the work done. When it comes to marketing, Tessie’s use of social media platforms and drawing attention to your property is top notch. Her posts are fresh and fun and she shared with us the analytics. We listed the house on a Tuesday and had it under contract on Saturday after receiving 4 offers. Tessie coordinated the subsequent closing prep activities and closing day was a breeze. The whole effort, from beginning to end, was smooth and quick. I attribute this to the fact that Tessie is a great communicator. Experiencia fantástica: About one year ago my wife and I approached Tessie and asked her if she would be willing to sell our house in central Maine. She jumped at the opportunity and quickly went to work for us by arranging everything from a special photo shoot for our custom-built home to an open house. She and her team ensured the open house was well advertised, welcoming, and, as a result, successful. Throughout the selling process, she was always available to provide recommendations, consultation, and strategies to us. She kept us informed during the entire process by outlining objectives, providing guidance, and reminders of deadlines. Tessie even went the extra mile by auditing our home’s previous MLS property card and noted some discrepancies and ensured our listing was as accurate as possible. She even went as far as calling the town office to correct tax assessment data that she found during her review of our homes records- again, to help ensure a smooth sale. Under her coordination and supervision, we got to say “Boom, sold it!” about a month later. Fast forward almost a year and, after months of looking for our new house, my wife and I owe Tessie a huge thank you for helping us with our second transaction with her. The real estate market was, and still is, very competitive, and buying a home in it can be a fatiguing, demoralizing, and stressful experience; however, Tessie saw us through the storm! We looked at several homes after selling our old house and Tessie was so helpful, patient, understanding, and responsive through the entire buying process. She would always get us in to see a home ASAP and provided insight on each home’s condition, repair costs, and other general and personal recommendations and considerations. She was a true team member for us. She worked tirelessly and was very responsive and timely to our messages and questions so we could make prompt decisions. The home we went under contract for was a “fixer upper” but in a great location, so we went for it. However this transaction was not for the faint-hearted! A distressed seller and attorneys on the other end of the table made for a unique buying experience for us but Tessie helped us handle the entire process with ease. We had a lot of questions along the way but she was always by our side ready to provide or find answers. She helped coordinate and supervise the house clean out that the sellers were responsible for in the final hours (literally hours before closing) to ensure the job was done correctly and completely. She even offered to go to the house a couple times to oversee things, even when my wife and I couldn’t. After our second successful closing with Tessie, we were so thankful and excited to finally say “Boom- Bought it!!” After nearly a year of working together, my wife and I couldn’t be happier and more pleased with our entire experience with Tessie and the rest of her office staff.
