Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed with our week stay at Viewpoint Condos Mammoth. The condo is very old and hasn’t been touched since it was built. The pictures online also haven’t been updated and do not resemble the state the condo is currently in. What makes this especially frustrating is that we paid the same—or even more—than some of the renovated units. While the outdated appearance is disappointing, our biggest concern was the overall cleanliness and condition of the condo. The unit had a strong musty smell, and the entire unit looked very dirty. The walls had visible dirt and grime, the corners and edges of the rooms had heavy dust buildup and cobwebs. The bathroom ceiling had mildew growth. The furniture was worn and stained. The carpet was worn, torn at the seams, and had visible stains in the high traffic walking areas. When we reached out about these concerns they apologized and offered to have a cleaning team come out and do a deep clean, but that never occurred. Every time I messaged them they said they would let the team know and then never message me back. This was very frustrating to have to worry about while on our family vacation with a toddler and infant. After reading other reviews, it shows that this management knows about these concerns, but don’t care to do anything about it. Would not recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Stayed in a property at 3252 chateau managed by them and we had no access to the laundry room for 2.5 weeks. Customer service ignored multiple requests for access, sending patronizing and confusing messages and telling us to go to a laundromat. Also asked for more propane for the grill at least 4 times, no response. Would actively avoid staying in their properties. I am also a homeowner who hosts my home on Airbnb and would be appalled if someone treated my guests like this.

The hosts were very responsive and provided clear instructions, which made check-in and our overall stay completely hassle-free. We especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. Experiencia negativa: We arrived excited at MAMMOTH VIEW VILLAS (unit 47) expecting a property that matched the photos and description provided online. Instead, within minutes of check-in, we found numerous issues, including heavily stained and dirty carpeting, unstable bunk beds that did not feel safe for my children, trash left on the patio (modelo cans and cigarette butts in a corner bucket ), a strong odor throughout the unit that was intolerable resulting in all windows needing to be opened immediately, cobwebs, dirty floors, a fireplace that was out of service but not disclosed as such on the posting, and other cleanliness and accommodations concerns. We reported the issues within 15 minutes of arrival to VRBO and immediately provided photos and videos documenting the condition of the property which they said would be forwarded along with our request for a full refund. Because of the cleanliness and safety concerns, we did not feel comfortable staying and vacated the unit within approximately two hours of arrival after VRBO provided credit for one night for a property that did not meet our standards or theirs: What was most disappointing was the response afterward from the host. We were told we’d receive a follow up within 2 hours but it took once again time from my vacation to reconnect with VRBO to get the host to reach us at almost midnight of that same day. After some back and forth, it was deemed a refund would not be possible because we did not “give permission to repair” - but that wasn’t the point for us. I called the company asked for a manager but one was not available. While the agent searched for our reservation we were disconnected on with no call back. Rather than acknowledging that the property’s condition at check-in fell well below expectations and marketing representations, the position taken was that we should have allowed time for inspection, cleaning, and repairs. We do not believe guests should be expected to spend their vacation waiting for issues that should have been addressed before arrival. We have spent the majority of this vacation navigating this matter, between unpacking, re packing and unloading into a hotel, waiting for the right thing to be done. We also had to cancel our fishing trip yesterday as we addressed this issue. This is not what any family should be going through - still yet on the following morning of their stay. Our concern was never whether the property could eventually be cleaned or repaired. It was that the unit was not delivered in the condition represented at the time of booking. We hope this review encourages better quality control, more accurate listing photos, and a stronger commitment to ensuring properties are guest-ready before check-in not after and during their stay and at the expense of their inconvenience and time. This has been stressful, unacceptable and utterly disappointing.

Experiencia fantástica: Solid weekend Getaway, close to all you need around Mammoth Lake, walkable to most everything - Grocery, coffee, breakfast, dinner, play areas. Cozy for a family of 4-6. Plenty of safe to relax and enjoy both the home and the surrounding areas.

Experiencia positiva: We have stayed in Aspen Creek before. This unit 226 is kept very clean. We appreciate the shampoo, body wash choices. We appreciate the nice paper towels offered. The heating systems respond to thermostat very well. Everything are in working condition so we did not need to contact management co.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience and stay. Easy access and code worked right away. Entry was to the left of the hot tub, walk on deck and you will see the sign to your room. Comfortable bed and nice living area. Big enough for a family if needed with the pull out couches, but even for the two of us was very relaxing here. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it great for early mornings before hitting the mountain. Would recommend to anyone and will plan on staying here in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful condo that was clean and comfortable. Instructions from parking garage could have been better and we struggled with old TVs finding the correct remote that was hidden in a cabinet. Overall, I would stay again and figuring out a new place always has quirks.

Experiencia fantástica: My first time staying at a lodge instead of a hotel. It was such an awesome experience. Parking was so easy, the place was so clean and had amazing views of the mountain. Instead of having to eat out, buying groceries, and cooking was cheaper while relaxing. It was so close to Resort and not far from the village if you do want to shop and tour around. I would highly recommend staying here and booking in advance before they sell out!

I am giving this 4 stars solely due to the fact that outlets and lights in both bedrooms were not functioning upon arrival. Although the management team was very responsive, the actual visit from maintenance was very delayed. Trying to enjoy the accommodations with those issues is not pleasant. Thankfully, once maintenance arrived on site, the issue was repaired fairly quickly. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The accommodations were very nice. I would recommend this as a great rental property.

It’s in a great location, easy to access, fantastic communication from the managers, not a bad walk to the village and perfect for us. It was, me, my husband and our two adult sons and there was plenty of room for us. We had everything we needed for our short weekend stay.

Stuart (management) was helpful throughout our stay, touching bases when we first checked in and making sure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, I had left my watch at the condo upon check out. I surely thought It was gone in the wind since initially housekeeping couldn’t find it. Stuart and the housekeeping team scoured the apartment and checked the couch again. Lo and behold they found it and were so kind to ship it to me directly. I am forever grateful for their effort and honesty. I’ve had an experience at 4 star hotel where such honesty and integrity was not upheld and I lost something forever. I highly recommend Grand Welcome Mammoth Lakes for your next stay especially if you have a family. Thank you all for a great first time experience at Mammoth Lakes.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a good time up in the high country. We visit mammoth every year and stay at a different rental condo every time. The positives , This condo was a good size , very clean and well maintained. It is situated in a good part of town, cool hot tub over looking the forest. If you are there during the winter and skiing , you can walk to the Eagle ski lift. Negative, there was construction being done on our building and it was a little noisy. Also the TV lost the volume intermittently. We had to unplug the power to the cable box to reset it , then we got the volume back. Had to do that several times. The host did help with that.

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great stay at Villa de Los Pinos. The updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were tastefully done, the bedrooms were comfortable, if a little warm this time of year (June). It was nice to sit on the shaded deck upstairs in the afternoon after our wanderings during the day. Everything we needed seemed to be available, especially in the kitchen where we cooked most nights. Luckily for us, we had a parking spot right in front of the unit so never had far to walk to get in. The property as a whole is well maintained. The back of this unit looks out over a nice large grassy area. All in all, we had a nice relaxing time here, as you’d want for a short vacation such as we had.
