Experiencia negativa: Per request of needing more information: The realtor also only picked up her phone about 60% of the time, oftentimes never getting back to us for days or only responding to text. It was known early on we needed a power of attorney and direct deposit. Realtor wanted to list the house significantly less than what we wanted, which we thought our price was fair given that the houses around us were higher than the price we wanted. She said “we'll meet in the middle” b/c she said people will get into bidding wars over houses, so we wanted to make it a sweet price for offers. Someone made an offer on our house 4 days after listing for the lowered price, and they did offer a bit more but only to finance their closing cost, which did not affect the pay we received from the house. And due to waiting so long to list it we felt rushed to take it, as we were coming up fast on our moving schedule. I mean of course the house sold fast, we listed it for lower than most of the houses in our area have been listed. We thought we did all the correct paperwork as we were clear on the week we would be moving. Our last time in the house we planned to clean up and head out by 5am, but slept in. As we were leaving around 10am we received a call saying we needed to sign the power of attorney. Paperwork we thought we signed a month ago!! we had just hit the highway! What if we had left at 5am? What did we sign? We have no idea, we were never given any copies! We went to the offices and signed the paperwork before leaving the state. The realtor often had us calling or texting with the lawyer involved to answer questions because she had no idea on so much of the process taking place and instead of her making the effort to get those answers we were told to ask the lawyer instead. It was honestly very frustrating getting the runaround for any question needing to be answered. Upon closing day we waited for a call to let us know how it all went, or if it even happened we called 6pm our time 8pm their time and she answered and said “oh i forgot to call you, my kids sadie hawkins dance is tonight and (etc excuses)” I get it, family first, but had we known this entire process would be put on the back burner of her life we would have chosen someone else who could at least pretend to be attentive. She could have at the very very least texted us to tell us we closed! She told us the check would be in the mail on monday when we were getting off the phone. We never gave them an updated address and we also told them we wanted direct deposit. Pure Panic and stress the whole weekend, what if they send the check to our old address? Why did they write a check? What were we going to do? Well turns out they missed more paperwork, the realtor again told us to talk to the lawyer, we did, he said check he already wrote a check and it was ready to be mailed out. We reminded him we wanted a direct deposit, he said to send our bank information via EMAIL!!! How unprofessional and unsettling is that? What if his email got hacked and he never deleted it? What if he used the bank info himself ? An email with bank information is so uncertain, shifty and scary. Anyway we got the deposit. No congratulations, no receipts or paperwork regarding what we paid in fees, what the realtor made, what our actual amount was. Nothing. We sold the house in the 2nd week of September and it is currently the end of January and we still have not received a receipt. So yes, while the key points you point out did happen, the entire experience was very stressful due to the inconsistency and lack of communication. To summarize: would not recommend based on poor communication, not listening to us or giving us other options for our wants, we played middle man with the realtor and lawyer, power of attorney was forgotten about until the last minute, bidding war did not happen because we listed it too close to our moving date per realtors suggestion, zero paperwork on any part of the selling, had us email our bank info to the lawyer. Experiencia fantástica: Our agent was Jackie Reinbeau. I can not say enough great things about Jackie. By the end of the process she was like family. One of the friendliest people we have ever had the pleasure to work with. We had no idea what the home buying process was like. Jackie got us through every step with comfort and confidence. Any time we had questions or concerns she made herself available to us, day and night. With my very hectic schedule Jackie got us in to see homes with very short notice at times. Jackie was very knowledgable of the areas and neighborhoods of the homes we viewed. This was a huge deal to us because we were not from the area. When making an offer and negotiating a price, she was able to provide insight from her experience on the types of things to factor into the decision. When it was time to close, She worked to make sure we never felt overwhelmed or lost. Those last few days I had got myself worked up and stressed out. Jackie reassured us that everything was fine and it was proceeding normally if not better than normal. After closing Jackie checked in with us to see how we were doing. She reminded us that our hard work had payed off and to relax and enjoy the moment. It was refreshing knowing that she cared even when her job was done.

What's also important to note is most people would say I'm easiest to work with. I don't expect a smiles, hello's, goodbyes or anything fancy. Im not the person that will send my order back when it's wrong. You can put a burger in my bag without napkins or condiments, it won't bother me. I'm easy going. When conducting a transaction I only expect what I'm paying for or receiving. Nothing more, nothing less. However with this transaction with Paul & Missy, you would think I was a secret shopper and they got the heads up before I reached out to them. Paul & Missy are hands down the best duo I've ever conducted a real estate transaction with. They're honest, transparent and trustworthy. It'd be an understatement if I said they "rolled out the red carpet" for me. Not only did they help me with my transaction, they also helped direct me in my other areas of need. Every person they referred me to, treated me the same way Paul & Missy did. Now, a part of that is Wheeling... but I'd like to think...They are the part of Wheeling that makes it so amazing! If there were a clinic on how to treat people, they'd be the instructors. During our relocation the housing market was limited, so we often called the day of (as new homes were listed) to schedule showings . Shelley was always accommodating and helpful. She worked with our lender which took some of the burden of moving from our shoulders. Experiencia negativa: I just hung up with someone from K&K about a question I had on a property. I let him know I found this listing on Zillow and he let me know (rudely) that they "highly suggest" using realtor.com. Unnecessary, I just have one question and if your company doesn't like Zillow, why make postings there? Are you trying to make a home sale or are you trying to waste my time by directing me to another site? So I finally ask my question again, he answered it and I said "thank you so much" and his response was "K" and hung up.... how is this even okay?? Customer service is terrible and I hope nobody who is going through the exciting process of trying to buy a home is met with this impatience.
