From the beginning, communication was poor—listing inaccuracies were left unanswered, and our initial offer was ignored until we followed up repeatedly and ultimately increased it. After completing an inspection and requesting reasonable compensation for falsely advertised property features, we were met with unprofessionalism rather than a willing partner to negotiate. Due to the complete lack of responsiveness and failure to take responsibility for inaccurate marketing, we terminated the contract. Basic communication, transparency, and accountability are essential in real estate transactions, and unfortunately, this experience lacked all three. A little professionalism could have easily closed this deal. -------------- UPDATE :: 7/28/2026 Thank you for the response, Brad. While I respect your dedication to your family business, a personal narrative does not address any of the specific factual allegations raised in my original review, nor does it change the documented realities of this transaction. I’d like to clarify a few key points: "Never Met or Spoke Personally": As buyers, we worked directly through our licensed real estate agent, who represented us in every interaction with your firm(mostly Stephanie in this case) as the listing agent. Unresponsiveness and listing errors directly impact the buyer, regardless of whether we sat in the same room. Our agent's inquiries regarding falsely advertised property features were met with prolonged delays and silence. Professional Critique vs. Personal Criticism: Stating that a listing contained inaccurate information and that communication was lacking is not a personal attack—it is factual feedback on a business transaction. Pointing out professional shortcomings is the fundamental purpose of a review. Listing Inaccuracies: The property was advertised with features it did not actually possess. Unprofessionalism isn't about failing to agree on price—it's about failing to account for misleading property details. Negotiation in Good Faith: Asking for reasonable adjustments based on professional inspection findings(my time and money wasted) after false advertising is standard procedure, not "unrealistic expectations." Being a husband, father, or long-time agent is commendable, but client representation and public listings must stand on accuracy and professional accountability. I wish your team well, but prospective clients have a right to know how listing errors and negotiations were handled in practice.

What made me decide to hire them is that they both were born and raised in this area, and they are raising their children here. As a result, they do not do people wrong, because word of mouth is powerful in this small town. I met with them several months before we were ready to list, and Alexander gave me pointers on what improvements needed to be made. My situation was very sticky, because we were selling a property, but not the home on it, so it limited our customer base.
