Experiencia negativa: We were looking at renting 914 Tenth Street. Submitted our application plus fees for two people. After providing all of our financials and weeks of chasing after the broker Christy Ward, I was finally told that they could not rent the property due to an undisclosed reason. So much for transparency. Owner of this property now has to lose out on several months rent. We have been renting in Coronado for over three years with a clean rental record. Having just retired from State Department with decades of service to our country the response i received from Cresmont Property Managemet was unexpected. I would encourage both owners and renters to stay away from Cresmont property management. I'll do the same.

As we now know, so much has changed in the rental market over the last 4 plus years. It had become somewhat complicated pertaining all the new rules and regulations. Christy and her team met with my brother, and I and went over all the necessary disclosures and forms that needed to be completed. They advertised our family home, vented potential renters and prepared the lease agreement for us. I would like to Thank them all for their patience in helping us out.

Experiencia negativa: By far the worst rental experience we've ever had - anywhere. The house (602 Margarita) was dirty when we arrived and we had someone in the property almost every day to fix something - screen doors, garage doors, smoke detectors, front door lock, etc. The property is in bad condition and the way Crestmont handled it was terrible. We were able to get out of our lease early, but only after threatening mediation. After months of back and forth we received almost all of our money back, even after they tried to leverage a 5 star review for part of our refund. Terrible property, horrible experience. The owner's husband also tried to negotiate a larger deposit refund in exchange for us leaving a 5 star review, which is why you see anything above 1 Star for this place. It took over two months to finally get our full refund back, but that's how bad they are: we took less money to leave an honest review. As an FYI, watch out for ocean water quality because Tijuana dumps raw sewage into the ocean, so the beaches in Coronado and south have been closed frequently. Property management company won't disclose it.

Experiencia fantástica: We rented a condo through Crestmont for 6 weeks on Coronado. Jana helped us from the beginning to the end of the transaction and she was GREAT to work with. My only complaint with the company are odd fees they tuck into the process. Example - they made my wife and I both fill out separate applications. Of course, there is a charge for each one. They also have some odd charges if you want to pay by credit card etc. Other than those things, which they really should get rid of or incorporate into their overall fee, they are a great company. Responsive when setting up the reservation, and responsive throughout our stay to little things that had to be attended to. I recommend them to property owners and to potential guests.

I am pleased to be a tenant of theirs for eight months now. I needed to find a property for my family in Coronado during the summer, a seemingly insurmountable task. During this search, I called on a couple highly-desirable listings during the summer months and kept meeting with the same Crestmont agent, Karen. Not only did I really like the properties, I was very impressed with her and the face she gave to this property manager. During the property tours, we had occasion to encounter many existing tenants who all seemed to know her. It was impressive how she went out of her way to acknowledge these current tenants as well as was very personable and welcoming to me as a prospective tenant during our tours. It reflected very well on Crestmont and made me feel as though this management company would be a good one to consider. My daughter and I are loving our home. Everyone in the office at Crestmont is responsive, professional, and goes above and beyond for their tenants. They make business dealings a breeze. Experiencia fantástica: I lived in one of the properties managed by Crestmont and had a great experience. The staff was prompt to take care of any of my needs and if I move back to the area I would be happy to rent with them again.

Experiencia negativa: renters be aware! Do not expect to get your deposit back! They locked us out from our place on the move out date while we still have our possessions inside. They disconnected the garage and changed the lock while we were moving out. They do not care about laws or their customers at all. They only care about the money. It has been a month since we moved out and no deposit check was sent to our address. Terrible business!
