Experiencia positiva: He was friendly enough and did video tours of a few houses. I needed a house in a hurry and did a video tour but he didn't tell me how bad some things were in the house that I ended up buying. He told me twice that I should offer more money because there were other offers. Maybe it was true or maybe not. I paid more than the house was worth and when I sold, I lost money which didn't include all the expensive things that needed replacement. He recommended an inspector who didn't tell me about the expensive things that needed to be replaced such as windows that didn't shut, a cracked heat exchange on the gas furnace, garage doors that didn't work plus a sliding door that didn't work. He also recommended a home warranty company and it was a rip off who gave me $990 for a $13,000 whole new HVAC system which was recommended by their contractor and a second contractor. I think they were all in cahoots. I lived in the house for about 10 months and sold. Needless to say, I didn't use him when I bought another house. He wasn't working my best interest. I would check around with other realtors before I chose him. Sorry for the bad review but he didn't do a good job for me.

Experiencia fantástica: Jim is an excellent and highly thorough realtor. Unlike other realtors he stuck with us through the good and the bad, especially in a challenging market. He never forgot about us and checked in with us periodically but not to where it was an annoyance. He was patient in times when we weren't interested, and available at times when we were, even when some places looked like a known waste of time. In the closing process his knowledge exceeded all of the parties at the table, and answered our difficult questions and walking through hypothetical scenarios. In the past, I had shopped with 4-5 other realtors and there is a reason I unsubscribed and abandoned those flakey ones and stuck Jim's business magnet on our fridge... and it's still there!

Cats had been there. The smell. Plus, I, the seller, don’t even live in the U.S. But Jim didn’t back away from the challenge. He’s honest, down to earth, a straight talker, and provided absolutely extraordinary, top-of-the-line customer service for a sale that didn’t even net him all that much of a commission. He handled everything from the basics to working out extra agreements with the buyer, on my behalf, when the buyer had to get mold remediation done up front, before the purchase, in order for the home inspection to pass. I didn’t even have to attend the closing. Start to finish, Jim had my back, but was also straight with the buyer. My house… “that” house was contingent in a week, and sold and closed only a month after being listed. I can’t recommend him highly enough. You can trust Jim Danylo. And, by the way, if he was that professional with this sale, just imagine having him on your side with your, much more valuable home!
