DAN CONTINO at eXp Realty and a builder called "ROGER WATROUS" at "Roger Watrous Building & Remodeling LLC" running the scheme. Here is how the scheme runs: First, they go under contract and collect the deposit. Everything looks legit for the first week of the transaction. Everything starts when your bank wants to do the appraisal. They won't let you do the appraisal and start asking non-refundable deposit (typically $10k or more) to open the doors for the appraiser. Please be aware and share with your network if you are buying properties in New London (CT).
