It was my first time living on my own and I could not have chosen a better place to live or a better landlord/property owner. Chris is very responsive and wants you to enjoy your stay, any issue I had he would reply within the hour and we would come up with a resolution. He made the rules and limitations very clear from the get go, and also gave good tips on how to take care of the house in order to get my security deposit back at the end. The home I rented was nice and very well taken care of, there is no lack of maintenance. My microwave went out one day and Chris was over the next day replacing it. To add to this, the place I rented was similar to a duplex, I shared a wall with my neighbors who also rented from Chris. I had a new neighbor each of the 3 years I lived there, and they were all wonderful, friendly people. Again, I feel lucky to have gotten the chance to live in one of Chris's properties and would recommend him to anyone looking for a place to live in San Marcos.

Experiencia negativa: The reason I am giving One star is because of Chris. He was very rude and has horrible customer service. I myself am a healthcare provider, and customer service is a huge factor that can make a huge impact on the consumer. He refused/denied me because of my service animal which is ILLEGAL. I told him I was planning on moving to San Marcos with my family which is my daughter who is 2 years old, wife, and service dog because my wife is going to start school in Texas State. He asked for my dogs information and stated my dog was an aggressive breed and even though my dog is a service animal the owners were not going to allow us. I told him what he was doing was illegal and he stated to just stop and why was I pushing to live somewhere where I was not wanted and clicked on me. The home will be available in July, I offered to pay NOW to reserve the home. He REFUSED even though on the virtual tour the current people who live there have a big dog. I wish I would of been allowed to escalate this to the owners to inform them of how bad they are being represented.
