Experiencia negativa: This was, without question, the worst rental experience I've ever had. The way this property handled disputed charges, communication, and tenant concerns was consistently unprofessional. Rather than resolving issues fairly, the process created unnecessary stress and frustration throughout my tenancy. I ultimately felt compelled to file a complaint with the State of Montana because of my concerns about how this property handled my situation. Based on my experience, I encountered inconsistent explanations and changing positions regarding disputed charges, which left me with little confidence in the fairness of the process. If you're considering renting here, I recommend looking elsewhere. In my opinion, there are better-managed properties that communicate more clearly and treat tenants with greater professionalism and respect. At this point, any response from management does not change what I experienced during my tenancy. My review reflects my firsthand experience, and I stand by it.

After previously renting with a terrible run-away management company I was really nervous to rent from a new company I had zero experience with, but almost instantly all those worries went away after going on a tour and seeing how kind they are and how great their facilities are. Hannah and the whole Connect team instantly made us feel like we were at home and they have been there to help answer any questions we have had or service we’ve needed. I was worried that moving into a larger apartment building would mean loud neighbors, restrictive rules and having a hard time finding parking like everyone says but all of that couldn’t be further from the truth. The facilities, specifically at the One11, are awesome. It was built well and has all the amenities needed, plenty of parking and overall, a great vibe for being so fairly priced for a downtown location. Anyone looking for great apartments to rent from a great company you’ve found the spot!

Experiencia fantástica: I have used Connect Property Management for close to 10 years as a property owner. The owners of the company, Kristen and Jason are kind and considerate do their best to serve the their clients (both owner and renters) with integrity. They rented our house themselves for several years then when they moved on we asked them to be our property managers. This year we decided to sell the house and they worked with us when we had the house on the market and finally sold. We wanted to make sure the renter could stay as long as possible, and though the renter opted to find a new place Kristin made sure the renters knew they were welcome to rent our house until the house closed. I have to put in a word for the amazing Alicia! Usually when I called it was Alicia. She had so much work, but she was always cheerful and helpful. She made sure issues with the house were dealt with promptly and well. Thank you to everyone at Connect Property Management for taking good care of us, our house and the renters who were in our house for the last decade.

Experiencia fantástica: Just moved in to one of the units at the One11 building and am loving it so far. Staff (especially Clayton, who I had the bulk of my interactions with) was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly during my search for an apartment. Clayton went above and beyond showing me everything they had available, including one layout I wasn’t considering until I saw it in person, and ultimately decided to go with. Very responsive with any issues (all minor things) so far and the space and amenities are some of the best I’ve seen in Bozeman! For “luxury downtown living”, they can’t be beat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Experiencia negativa: We have a year long lease with it converting to a month to month. We expected and planned on being there 3 months after the year long lease. NOW. They want another year lease or move out. This impacts two little children and an adult who has been a renter with no issues. While I am told this is legal…it is creating unnecessary havoc and chaos in our lives. And they just don’t care. Why state month to month and put it in the contract ? Word to the wise don’t rent with them unless you are committed to a year…and yes then another year…and you get the point. A month to month does not exist. Buyer Beware

Experiencia negativa: The buildings themselves are fine (if pricey) – they force you into overpaying for managed building WiFi though. Read your lease carefully and maybe you’ll have more luck than I did.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience, Jason was extremely dishonest and illegally ousted me (according to my lawyer) from my rental after I complained about the mold and radon problems. The owner had to wait 2 years before renting it out again to prevent being sued. The company also sent a handyman into my home while I was gone, without my permission (also illegal). Alicia was the only decent person I interacted with; I felt bad she was working for such an unprofessional business. Don't trust your living situation to this company unless you want to suddenly be homeless so they can line their pockets! Edit: I see they responded with half-truths. There was no mold damage to my unit, only mold spores were found in the air from the neighbors super-moldy unit. There was no leaking hose bib danger; the owner had fixed that months prior. I was only kicked out after asking that the mold and radon issues be addressed, and the remediation company said I did NOT need to move out for them to fix the problems. When I asked Jason if the neighbors' mold was being remediated, he said yes...but the neighbors told me no one had even come by to look at the problem. He said I was only being evicted so that remediation could be done...now, here, he's saying the owner just wanted to renovate the place. Stop lying to customers, Jason!

Experiencia negativa: I rented a commercial property from Connect and terminated my lease with them last month because they refused to fix a handicap ramp after multiple written requests on their online portal and thru email. I signed a three year lease with them in which it was specifically stated they would replace or repair the ramp. Which they did, with a ramp that was worse than before! I asked for two years to have the ramp fixed; in order to prove me wrong, they had an inspector come to look at the ramp and not only did the inspector confirm the ramp was a liability, the railing they put in was also not up to code! Along with this, they employ a handyman that does the bare minimum and EVERY time he did work to the property I had to ask him to come back to either clean up after himself (metal shavings, when they cleaned the gutters they dumped everything into the yard) or finish the job. In addition, they entered the property on more than one occasion without notice, even walking into treatment rooms when my tenants were with clients. I am pursuing legal action against them at present for loss of income due to being forced to terminate my lease with them as I no longer wanted to be exposed to the liability the ramp posed. I managed the property for ten years, they bought the property management company i signed the original lease from and they were terrible from the very start. Be advised they are rebranding to G4 Property Management in an attempt to hide their earned reputation as an unprofessional and incompetent management company.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a tenant over at One11 for about two years and I've great experiences from Connect and especially Rachel. She has not only been responsive but helpful with all my requests and any issues that would occasionally arise. More recently, I've been looking for a change of scenery and choose to move to another Connect Property location across town. I was not familiar with proper move out procedures or how the process worked. Before I became fully locked in my lease, Rachel assisted me in getting me where I wanted to move and more. I am so grateful for her help with this most recent move. People such as Rachel make me want to continue renting with Connect. I will be starting my third year with them and I'm looking forward to it. It's very hard to find a good property management company and especially in Bozeman. For anyone who is on the fence about renting with Connect, I highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Really wanted to love the place and experience but over time, it was clear that Connect has very little respect for their tenants. In my lifetime of renting, this was easily the most stressful experience. Communication is unclear and often contradictory or confusing. The lease is a contractual nightmare to say the least. There are some good people at the company but the business practices are the absolute worst.

She graciously and enthusiastically gave us a tour of the Black Olive apartment complex when we visited Bozeman, Montana. She listened carefully to what we desired in an apartment and kept in contact with us to provide updates. Since we moved in to the Black Olive in January she has consistently gone out of her way to ensure everything was perfect. Her responsiveness to our concerns is unmatched and always exceeded our expectations in terms of a timely response.

Experiencia negativa: We are individual owners out of state of a long owned and always rented ( with prior managers) town home in Bozeman Owners who trusted Connect to manage our townhome rental in Bozeman They acquired it successfully rented from us on a yr lease so no work for them there! It has never not been rented in decades ! They talked a good pitch but after months of evidently letting the tenant run in arrears on utilities( which the tenant hadn’t ever done before under another mgr) and having us cover that expense ( “their company policy” ) and assuring us this policy would be rectified asap , they had their head guy, who we never dealt with , drop us and our property in a letter over a holiday with no warning and after assurances only days before that “all was fine “ !—-Ultimately saying they didn’t like to handle individually owned properties among their 750 units! Terrible communication, unexplained money deductions monthly ,late payments to HOA, lies, false assurances by their employees carrying “messages from the owners, “etc Don’t deal with these people or trust their assurances as we did You will be burned !

Since we were moving from across the country, we had to do everything virtual, and mind you, I had never even been to Bozeman before so had NO clue about anything in the town/locations. They went above and beyond with helping me navigate all of the different options for our home and even helped us with options for storage, should we need it! They listened to us when we told them what we were looking for and made sure to call and text the minute something became available that they thought we would like....and they were spot on! Experiencia fantástica: I bought my first investment property a year ago and decided to have Connect manage it. Kristin and company have a ton of experience and I trust them with all aspects of my property from pricing to maintenance to resolving any legal issues related to tenants. Luckily there have been none, but I all the documents and paperwork are air tight just in case. I really like the online owner portal and year end financial report. It's very easy to understand. Every expense is transparent and fair. As a property owner I can not recommend Connect highly enough.

Check out procedures at first seem like normal until after spending multiple days cleaning isn’t good enough for their standards and they try to hold you accountable for items you apartment didn’t include. Very glad I switched property management companies away from Connect.

I asked for a lease renewal they did not respond to me for about 3 months. -I've had to wait almost a month for a kitchen faucet replacement during my stay. -They tend to blame the tenants for pre-existing conditions. If you are renting from this company, please record everything right after move-in.

Experiencia negativa: Had an absolutely terrible experience with connect property management. I was a tenant with a different management group at a local apartment complex. Connect took over our leases without our knowledge and had almost completely taken our damage deposits and would not honor my agreement with the other company. We had barely any carpet in our apartment (all wood/vinyl floors) except for two bedrooms and a 2.5 x 2.5 square foot closet space in the closet of our garage. Connect property management chose to pay for cleaners to clean the house because they said we didn't do a well enough job (I spent 3 days on my hands knees scrubbing every floor board, crevice and vent. I assure you it was exceptionally clean). The real problem came because the cleaning company apparently didn't clean that 2.5 x 2.5 square foot closet space in the garage. CONNECT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CHARGED US AGAIN FOR ANOTHER CLEANER TO CLEAN THE WHOLE PLACE BECAUSE OF THE COMPANY THEY HIRED TO CLEAN IT DID NOT DO A WELL ENOUGH JOB. On top of this, when they took photos of the "dirty house", they accidently showed that in some of the pictures they took, they were wearing shoes in the house. This tracked dust across all the wood floors. They charged us for an "unclean" water filter in our fridge. OUR FRIDGE NEVER HAD THE WATER CONNECTED. During all of this chaos, they seemed to never answer our phone calls and would only reply by emails; much later than you would expect. To summarize this company, absolutely great company 5 out of 5, would definitely recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I'd like to provide my experience from a home owners perspective. I live out of state and Kristin and her team have been managing my property in Bozeman for close to 10 years. After working with other property management companies, there are some things Ive seen that put them above the competition. -She is very keyed in on the changing rental market and shes been able to keep it rented consistently and at an awesome rate. -We've navigated some very tough insurance claims over the years(one of them a catastrophic $30k claim). As stressful as it is working with claims agents, Kristin and her team helped facilitate the repairs to the extent that it was not necessary for me to travel to oversee the repairs. -She is very responsive and communication is easy when needed. -Repairs, cleaning, and maintenace fees are fair and reasonable. Renting properties out of state can be very stressful but I can honestly say that having Connect manage my property has been an awesome experience. As the years have rolled by, Ive always known that my property is being maintained properly. Thanks guys!

Instead of just skipping over my application they continue to help me finalize it and work with me so that I would be able to get into an apartment that I wanted. Renting and Bozeman isn't really easy but these guys made it better.

Experiencia negativa: Called to have our pilot light went out after having the fire department come and inspect for the winter. Was provided with "you can either turn it on our have maintenance come and fix it for a cost". A parent called back and was told the same thing by the receptionist, however she also had said that the reason we would have to pay for someone to come out was "because it was a good lesson that we needed to learn." Completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed in this rental company. When moving out we received very inconsistent information about the status of our security deposit return although the rental was left in great condition. This company ended up violating their own policy and taking more than a month after our inspection to return our deposit and are entirely unresponsive to their phones and email regarding the issue.

Experiencia positiva: I’m sure this is a great company, but I am pretty frustrated. I tried to get in contact with them 4-5 times after I submitted an application and I never heard from them. I tried email, phone, and through listings. I only noticed the property I wanted was rented because I kept checking the website. I think not contacting people is unprofessional especially when it comes to renting properties and people paying for applications.

Experiencia fantástica: Connect Property Management, took over as the landlord of my rental property in 2018. I was a little nervous at first because I had been with the previous management company for over 7 years and they were amazing so the transition made me a bit nervous. I have now been with the new managers for a little over 2 years and I am thrilled to say they are doing an excellent job. They are straightforward, down to earth people who respects the privacy and security of their tenants. They are also very approachable people, noting that they are always available for questions and conversation. But the thing I like the most about them is their communication practices. Aside from common rent reminders they have emailed reminding me about changing furnace filters, when external contractors may be coming into our home to make updates, reminders about weather warnings and keeping the heat up so pipes don't freeze, spring break reminders and the procedures for leaving your rental unoccupied for longer than 5 days, the possibility of thawing snow creating water pools in the crawlspace. I personally find these emails very helpful! Additionally, my rental rate is on the lower end for this area. I find rate increases to be infrequent and reasonable if they are made. Things like snow removal and garbage removal are timely. They don't ask to make frequent inspection requests like some of the other property managers in this county. Also, BRAG TIME, I NEED TO SHARE THIS: they decrease our rent by 20% due to the COVID pandemic. What! Amazing! Brought little tears to my eyes! These people are legit, hard workers who have left a great impression on me! Hats off to you and thank you!
