Experiencia negativa: La verdad la estrella es por que necesita una calificación para dejar el comentario pero estoy plenamente decepcionada primeramente con las personas encargadas de la administración del apartamento donde vivi un año y digo la administración porque los dueños no tiene ninguna responsabilidad en esto la señora Jessica y la señora Guadalupe tiene un pésimo modo de hacer las cosas y sobre todo de cómo tratarte con indiferencia y quererte hacer menos se hizo una cita para poder solucionar el cobro que se hizo de el depósito que se entregó para dicha unidad cobrando según una parte de la nevera que casualmente cuando entré a dicha unidad no la tenía haciendo un cobro de 800$ por daños “”” en la pintura cuando claramente se le dijo a la señora Jessica al mes de haber habitado dicha propiedad que la pintura se estaba cayendo debido al rose del mueble o la mesa de dicho lugar en la sala y se le repitió el día que ella fue a ver el apartamento para poder ver que realmente estaba por hacerse o arreglar y ella dijo déjenlo así porque eso cómo quieras se va pintar de nuevo si ella hubiese dicho lo contrario con mucho gusto mi esposo hace el trabajo correspondiente para dejar tal y cómo se pidió pero ahora ellas dicen o todo eso está en el contrato si cabe aclarar que debido a que nosostros veníamos de otro estado new jersey para ser específico ellos nos pidieron que firmáramos el contrato en línea y claro ellos dinero de depósito y renta lo cual se hizo cómo lo pidieron pero ahora resulta que de dicho depósito de 2300$ solo se nos dio la cantidad aproximada de 700$ sumándole el trato de dichas personas que te tratan cómo si fueras nadie ….. The truth the star is because it needs a rating to leave the comment but I am fully disappointed first with the people in charge of the administration of the apartment where I lived for a year and I say the administration because the owners have no responsibility in this Mrs. Jessica and Mrs. Guadalupe have a terrible way of doing things and especially how to treat you with indifference and want to make you less an appointment was made to be able to solve the charge that was made of the deposit that was delivered for said unit charging according to a part of the refrigerator that coincidentally when I entered said unit I did not have it making a charge of $800 for damage "" in the paint when Mrs. Jessica a month after having inhabited said property that the paint was falling off due to the rose or the table of said place in the room and it was repeated the day she went to see the apartment to be able to see that it was really to be done or fixed and she said leave it like that

First, when we moved to town for a job urgently and unexpectedly, they had my family in a house within 2 days. Not an easy task for a family of 5 with 2 big dogs! It was in a very desirable area of the Village too. They were so friendly, professional and accommodating. Then, when we had to move again with short notice (landlord decided to move back into home) while I was 8 months pregnant, they quickly helped us find a nice place just around the corner. When we decided to look into buying (still not the right time for us), both Tom and his wife were so helpful. They gave us good information during an absolutely free consultation! When the time comes to buy, we will definitely be working with Hinkens!

Experiencia negativa: Me and my family have had the displeasure of having Jessica Delgado as our property manager representing the Hinkens Group. Our previous rental management company on the other hand were much courteous, friendly, and genuine people who would take care of our requests timely and efficiently, however I have had interactions with other employees from the Hinkens Group who were much more professional and personable including Lupe Vega who I met a couple of times and was just the polar opposite of Jessica. Recently, our laundry room was switched over to a coin operated service (which was not an issue whatsoever) but Jessica just told me and the other tenants that it was closing at the end of the day without any other information. I had to get it out of her if it was being open anytime after the end of the day and why did we not get at least a 24 hours notice? Which she very rudely replied that " you are not entitled to free laundry!" She talks down to tenants as if we were her subordinates and just smears the name and face of the company. Never in my years living in the same rental property have we been treated so rudely to the point we dread hearing from her. I am sure the Hinkens Group should take a closer look and moniter her interactions with their clients if they wish to preserve their good standing with the community.

Experiencia negativa: Jessica is incredibly unprofessional and consistently rude to myself and my partner whenever we bring up problems with the unit. Hinkens should re consider who they choose to represent their firm.

Experiencia fantástica: The Hinkens Group helped sell my home that was in pretty rough shape. I thought I was going to have a tough time selling and would not get much for it but Tom Jr. came over and helped out with the listing. Tom was able to get my family much more than I expected for the house and sold it faster than expected. Made the whole process as simple and painless as possible. Tom was always very straightforward about what was needed or going on. He was always consistent communicating via phone, text, email and good at alleviating any anxieties or stressors that occurred during Escrow and the showing process. Plus if you need junk removed his son will come in and get it done for you on his own. Give you the quote for the job and everything. If you’re selling or buying a house in Lompoc Valley and you need a straight shooter use the Hinkens Group you will not be disappointed. Nothing but good things to say about my experience with them.

Experiencia negativa: So it seems that this company is trying to dictate how people should live, the old lady Mrs Hinkens doesn't like the fact I'm a single full time dad since birth and I'm doing a wonderful job raising my daughter by myself that a man could have the connection a child and mother has you know the bond between mom and child. That special one that my daughter and I share is the same one y'all mothers have yup is men can have the same bond as well. Anyhow they denied me an apartment bcz I guess being a single full time dad is not kool with them. Well shame on you almost over at the Hinkens group I thought you guys were better than that. God bless you anyhow I hope you guys change your ways. Especially Lupe of all the ppl you disappointed me the most.

As first time homeowners this was a scary-unknown territory with lots of questions and I mean LOTS of questions, with even more hours of explaining. Both Tom and his wife Amy were there even if that mean a late night Sunday phone call. They have always been very professional, knowledgeable and helpful in keeping our home occupied with qualified and responsible tenants. Over this 5 year period, they have placed 3 tenants for us. The most recent placement was a absolute turn-key process as tenants moved out one day and the next day new tenants moved in. Thus, we had zero down time for this tenant transition. They have a good pulse on the Lompoc market and a great resource for anything related to home maintenance & repair. Experiencia negativa: Very bad service, Jonica is rude, evil and discriminantes people. She kept all my deposit money but it just proves how rotten she is. I left the property clean and she charged for things that were not even true, she charged for 5 hours just to put 5 light bulbs, that is stupid, even a turtle could of done it faster than her. I also contacted the carpet cleaning company from where she sent me the invoice and they said they never did that service, i just hope she pays for what she has stolen from me, i assume i am not the only one.

The amount of threatening, and yelling these people do honestly should be illegal but they will never face a law suit because they know the people they are harassing don’t have the money and are coming to them for help. It’s an evil greedy mindset. Do not go here, especially if you’re in a strict budget!

Experiencia negativa: Please don't sell your home with Tom ! Or Buy ! Very unprofessional Rude. And his prices are ridiculous ... Be patient and look for a realtor that can go up and beyond for you other then taking picture of homeless people and posting it on his group page ! .

Experiencia fantástica: Tommy was able to find me a good deal on a property in this low inventory time of the market. Tom has a long history in this town and a lot of connections which are very valuable to making deals happen. The other big plus is they have financing (Amy, which saved me money!) and even property management all under one roof!

Experiencia negativa: At 10pm at night the main line was clogged. Hinkins group was closed when i called. It cost me over $400 in a plumber and some de humidifiers to mop up the humidity because it overflowed the sinks and showers and touched the walls. I figured I should do that to prevent future water damage. Called them during business hours, and they didn't reimburse me for that. I had pictures with receipts and everything. They didn't care. The second time which was the most recent- I Told them that line backed up again and came up from the sink and showers. I Immediately was told that it would be $95 to send out a plumber for "normal blockage and stoppage" The ladies working there should know that when sinks and showers overflow, it is not a normal thing- it is further down the line. So I ended up unclogging it myself. Had to buy the nessesary tool and smell the vile fluid that was coming up. Yuck. I asked them to credit my rent for at LEAST the $95 since I unclogged it and warned them that this negative review was coming if they didn't make it right. They basically told me it wasn't their responsibility to pay... I will not lift another finger on this house to fix anything or prevent damage in any way- because it obviously isn't appreciated, or at the very least, reimbursed. Shameful

Experiencia negativa: Hinkens Group property SCAMMED ME out of almost $200 in application fees. They waste your time by allowing you to apply to a property that's already been rented. This happened to me with them, and I couldn't believe it because the area I applied to was in the middle of nowhere and the area had a low population and lacks basic stores like target etc. It's a dead town. It now makes sense that they didnt give me the rental; cant give a rental when its ALREADY RENTED. They basically wasted my time (it took them 5 days to tell me it was rented even though it should only take 24-48 hours which is 1-2 days) and scammed me out of money. PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE DO NOT apply to any of their rentals through them. Not only are they scam artists but looking through their reviews I see one from a property owner saying that they are terrible as a property management company also. By the way, I applied and called them 24 hrs later and they told me they couldn't tell me when they would know if it was rented or not. Turns out they had rented it the same day I called. Why wasn't I made notified? The rental was 45 minutes away and over 1 1/2 hours away factoring in traffic. They were very irresponsible and negligent because I they didnt consider my time or the gas I would spend going to the location. I messaged hickens before leaving the house and that was how I was made aware that the rental was not avail so I have it all in writing. They genuinely dont care about you and will screw you over and scam you out of money just because they can. Please stay away from this company. They do not have rentals available. In reality all they have are fake listings they use to scam people out of application fees. Just save yourself the headache and skip any companies that dont accept the ZILLOW applications which are unlimited and only 29.99 per person.

They had one of their own deliberately paint over all of the black mold inside of the kitchen, bedrooms, etc. With white paint. Basically anything that looked bad was painted over/carpeted over, instead of disclosing it. Tom hinkens in particular was incredibly rude to my realtor because she was a woman, belittling her about her knowledge of construction and building over the phone which I could hear, even though the questions she was asking were coming from my point of view (12+ years construction). He has no knowledge when it comes to construction or maintenance (even though he pretends to) and it shows. Use my experience as a reason not to use these crooks.
