Because of the military we were on a tighter deadline and only had one week to look at homes and put an offer down. As first-time buyers in a new city, we were as green as they come, but the Marshes patiently helped us figure out what we liked and didn’t like and stuck with us through a number of purchase attempts. Experiencia negativa: Run away from this company and Whitney Wisanski-Bettorf. She was a pure nightmare. Her and the inspectors ran fraudulent activity on me last week on a home in Lebanon IL. She is not a honest person only deceitful and greedy for filthy lucre (money) to get a sale. She did some unethical things last week, just to say the least. Then, come off with this presence of being a Christian. These people are a pure nightmare with me being a first-time home buyer. Her and the inspectors manipulated the whole process, lied, did not perform a proper inspection. Set things up and did not allow me to be there for the inspections by manipulating the time for me to be there. I will give more details later. Write them up to the BBB and Attorney General! They used all kinds of racist tactics to prevent me from buying the home in Lebanon IL. Then, she Whitney Wisanski-Bettorf sent a bogus termination agreement full of lies for me to sign. I had already dismissed her services way beforehand after my horrid experience with her and the inspectors trying to scam me out of $500 dollars to pay for an inspection for another buyer to walk in on a home scot free. The devil is a liar!!! Buyers and sellers be aware. Run away from this company. These agents works together against certain.people to do evil practices. BUT GOD SEES AND WILL REPAY EVILDOERS!!! They sold our house for above list price and were able to close in less than a month from when our house was listed. Since the closing date was so quick, we had trouble finding someone to do repairs the buyer had requested in a reasonable time. Courtney gave recommendations on companies and people to call. Experiencia fantástica: As I conclude my partnership with Red Door with the sale of my rental property, I’d like to pass on my deepest gratitude to Caleb and Courtney Marsh and let others know what a first-rate company Red Door is! First, Caleb did a great job being my property manager for years meeting my goals and being my voice to the renters. Not all property can be treated equally, and I received the management needed for success with my property in O’Fallon. My plan had been to ensure the property became a long-term income stream and I was well on my way to achieve that. When I altered my goal and decided to sell the property, Caleb and Courtney were there to help me through that transition. During the pandemic when lumber prices are sky-high, appliances are backordered, and scheduling contractors difficult to arrange, Caleb helped me review the options of selling as is, with minor changes, or with upgrades. When all three choices were viable, it was their advice and research that helped me decide the best option, an option that I will never regret! Second, communication from afar can be truly challenging, time-zone differences also add complexity. They met each of my texts/calls with professionalism and candor. Even if my questions came during family time, I would get a professional reply that a response would be delayed. Family and health come first with Red Door, a value I share with them! It’s those values that make great managers and maintains first-rate relationships with contractors. There was never a delay with maintenance that affected the proper working order of the property, from HVAC replacement, landscaping, and normal wear and tear repairs. After the buyer’s inspection findings needed three modifications to move forward with the sale, Red Door’s relationships with contractors enabled the closing of the property to be moved up earlier than planned when the buyers requested to close thirteen days earlier! Last, I’d like to conclude that when I partnered with Red Door, I needed to find a manager that I could rely on, be available, and would take the time to guide me so together we would find a means to meet my financial goals. Red Door, Caleb, and Courtney met those needs with open communication, honesty, and true family values. I was not disappointed! As a first time buyer, it is a daunting task so I wanted someone who could help me throughout the whole process. It's a shame, I had planned on using her services long before I reached out to her as she is endorsed by Dave Ramsey as a trusted "endorsed local provider" (ELP). I called and got her personal voicemail and followed up with a text per her own voice recording. I never got any kind of response from her. Disappointing to say the least, but probably for the best.

Experiencia negativa: This company has horrible communication; only speaks through email and never answers the phone. Once I called during business hours and their phone kept saying they were closed. They charge you $35 for a background check per applicant so I would think they’d be a little more professional. I had a showing at a house for rent and the realtor did not say a single thing about the property. In fact, she did not say much at all. The whole thing felt very rushed as if she had something better to do. I would go through another company if searching for a property.

Experiencia fantástica: I'd like to take a minute to applaud Red Door Realty. When I arrived home yesterday, it was 41 degrees inside the home that I am renting. From the time I messaged the property manager, to the time that HVAC showed up, it was less than 15 minutes. Within 20 minutes, my furnace was fixed and he had also replaced some other components that he noticed on his own. If you or someone you know is looking for a stellar and reliable property management company in the future, I couldn't possibly recommend more highly Red Door Realty.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to rent a house a few months back. I paid for an application fee based off the understanding that the property was available..! It took almost a week to get approved because the communication was horrible and only done through email..once approved I asked when could I see the property then I was told other things needed to be fixed and they didn’t know how long it would be ( but why was it listed if not ready) I stated I was still going to want the house. Here it is a few months later I emailed asked for my fee back seeing that someone moved in, no response or anything and I’ve asked twice.. so I don’t know if it was discrimination or what but horrible experience

Experiencia negativa: Communication was very slow and sometime near non existing. Only met the realtor 1 time. She was very nice and friendly, knowledgeable but after we signed up for service that was the end of the program. Never even came out to give suggestions or input on tips to sell or make more presentable for viewers. I had to reach out on a couple occasions to find out what was going on with the offers. Basically they did nothing and got paid well for doing nothing. Just a huge disappointment after experiencing other realtors. I made the arrangements for closing and had to find everything out. Didn't even bother to tell us where to leave the key for the buyer or collect any old keys.

I had been with other well-known realtors who did their best to sell my home, but Whitney, Courtney, and Caleb got it sold. They are very knowledgeable and experienced in staging (no additional charge) and marketing your home. I had more viewings on Zillow and a lot more showings. They were also very good at giving you feedback from prospective buyers and returning your call when you had questions about anything to do with the selling of your home. When we told her we were driving 12 hours to find our home, Courtney and Caleb devoted an entire two days driving us all over Metro East to find our perfect home. They truly listened to our list of wants and needs and talked through all of our short list options with us to make sure we were really getting what we wanted. Never once did we feel pressured to get the more expensive options. Being from out of town it was invaluable to have someone with deep roots in the area and was able to give us "local" knowledge that we wouldn't have been able to otherwise get. We have recommended Red Door over and over and will continue to.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave 0 stars I would. Worst experience with a Property Management Company I've ever had. Not only was the house a wreck when we arrived to live in but the a/c was broke. We had to stay in a hotel an extra 2 days before we could move in. The lack of contact with this company is astonishing. You can't go to their office because there's never anyone there. You can't call because no one ever answers the phone. You will accrue fees daily while you're trying to get issues straightened out. We lived in the house for a few weeks before I discovered that our lease had the WRONG LANDLORD on it. WE were the ones to bring it to the attention of this company, NOT the other way around. We have never even had it acknowledged that this happened. They sent us a new lease with the new Landlord's name on it, but that's all. No apology no nothing. I'm writing everything down and keeping track of all of it. I'm going to need some documentation when it's time to leave this place. Counting down the days until we can leave.
