Regular updates, timely responses to our inquiries, and a willingness to address any concerns all contributed to a stress-free experience. His genuine concern for our best interests was evident in every question he asked on our behalf (especially the areas we’re ignorant on as this is something we’re totally new to) and connections he and his team made for us through the process with reputable companies, to guiding us through the intricacies of the settlement process with our new build. His willingness to be available every step of the way, whether for a quick question or a last-minute showing, truly sets him apart. Shawn is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and trustworthy real estate professional. Any buyer, especially those like us who are newbies, can’t go wrong with him + the Carrie Lingo Team. Experiencia fantástica: We met Shawn at an open house and we were immediately impressed by his in-depth knowledge of local real estate. As we got to know him, we grew to appreciate his no-pressure style. He represented us on a transaction in 2022 and we fully expect to use him on a planned sale in 2024.

Experiencia fantástica: Shawn helped us sell our second home. He very speedily set up an open house and prepared online listing materials, including a beautiful virtual tour of our house. Within days, we had a good negotiated offer. Shawn also helped arrange for needed repairs and maintenance, such as power-washing the house and doing repairs requested by the engineer’s report, with good workmen at reasonable prices. He also recommended a good mover who was available on short notice at a good price. All of this was accomplished primarily in our absence, which was a great convenience

Experiencia fantástica: I met Shawn a few years ago through lingo realtors needing some help with some electrical work. He showed me nothing but respect and every question was answered promptly and honestly. That's when I knew he was the agent I'd be using, as I've worked for many in the past as a contractor. Since then Shawn had helped me with 4 real estate transactions and had saved me time, money and frustration on every one because of his knowledge and work ethic. Experiencia fantástica: Shawn is the best!!! We first met Shawn in 2108 when we were looking for a house in Milton. At the time we were living in Brooklyn, NY and Shawn was great at keeping us in the loop on homes in the area. Since we bought our home, we have recommended Shawn to four close friends who also decided to make the move to Milton. We also recommended Shawn to a co-worker in NYC looking for a place in Lewes and to an Airbnb guest who decided to buy in Milton as well. We all share the experience of having a realtor who is honest, reliable, and just a good guy. Four years later, Shawn has become a friend. Shawn recently sold my lot in Milton. I was anxious and impatient. Shawn was understanding and patient and ultimately it sold. I recommend Shaw McDonnell 1000%. He's the BEST!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great experience working with Shawn and his team. Throughout the process (which was relatively quick) we received quick and thorough responses. Having not purchases real estate for a long time, there was a lot we had forgotten about the process. Shawn explained everything clearly. He arranged several virtual showings within hours of our requests, and spent a long day taking us to places that met our specs. And, although he showed us many properties, we actually ended up buying the first place he took us to -- meaning, he was really attuned to what we wanted from the start. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: When we decided to move to the Lewes, Delaware area, research was key to finding our next home. Our first step was to find a great brokerage firm and an excellent realtor, which was the Jack Lingo firm, and specifically Shawn McDonnell. Although we had vacationed here when we lived in the Washington DC area, finding a place to live is definitely a bit harder, especially in a tight multi-bid sellers market; and, living three states away. Shawn was the perfect person for the job because he combines a great sense of humor, customer service, and knowledge of the market. He also tells you straight and gives you his honest opinion. He bid on our home quickly and was able to get our offer accepted in a competitive environment and in a highly desired community. We found our perfect home in a great location and look forward to many wonderful years in Lewes, Delaware. Very happy that we worked with Shawn and the Jack Lingo team—including Amy B. who was efficient and professional.

He was available in an instant to answer a phone call or a text message. Shawn helped me navigate through the entire process of purchasing a new property without any pressure to buy! I’m truly grateful not only for the ease of buying my new condo but for your pleasant personality and remarkable professionalism! You completely exceeded all my expectations!

Experiencia fantástica: We cannot say enough about what a great job Shawn McDonnell did for us! We first met Shawn when he hosted an open house next door to us, and when we started exploring the idea of selling and moving, Shawn was happy to help. He walked through our house, and gave us frank guidance about what we should do if we wanted to list it, and how much he felt we should ask. Over the course of two years (!), Shawn patiently showed us well over a dozen properties, from condos to million-dollar listings, as we worked through the process of figuring out what we really wanted. When we finally found an area where we wanted to be, Shawn helped us meet with several builders to try and create our dream home. In the end, when we fell in love with a spec home under construction, Shawn helped us through the offer process, while simultaneously getting our existing home on the market. To our amazement, we were able to sell our home in just over a week, so quickly that we were homeless for a month before our new home was ready! Shawn helped us through both settlements, and has continued to follow up since, to make sure that everything has gone well for us. All in all, Shawn and his team made a difficult and stressful process as efficient and painless as possible, and truly made us feel that we have a friend in the real estate business.
