Experiencia fantástica: When Bob and I made the decision to buy a home the first thing I did was call an old friend to ask who he might recommend as a realtor. Without hesitation he said, "Jeff Jolicoeur. He's the nicest and most honest guy I know." With that endorsement I hung up the phone and made the call. Jeff scheduled a meeting the next day, but in the meantime sent over several educational videos to help us better understand what was about to happen and how it worked. I loved that because it had been twenty-one years since we had purchased a home and we discovered that many, many things had changed. Buying a home had become much more complicated. At the meeting the next day we signed on with Jeff to represent us in this process of buying, and though Jeff had a meeting he needed to get to he made the time to arrange a viewing of the only home we were really interested in. We did a walk through and the same vibe we got from the listing was the same vibe we got in person. This was the house we wanted. That was Saturday. On Sunday we made an offer and on Monday we were under contract and six weeks later we purchased the home of our dreams. The thing I most appreciated about Jeff and his team, was how prompt, consistent and thorough they were in their communication. This helped to streamline the process and take a lot of the stress out of the equation. Jeff absolutely lived up to my friends description. He is without question one of the nicest and most honest people I know and I wholeheartedly recommend him as a realtor.

And thank goodness we were right. First of all, Jeff did as many virtual showings as we could throw at him. I thought for sure he would tire of our near-constant requests for disclosure statements but nope! Jeff made sure we got eyes on every single home we asked for, even if we were 1,500 miles away. More than three times we saw homes that Jeff had previously bought or sold! When I say Jeff knows the ins-and-outs of real estate in the Kennebec Valley, BELIEVE ME. But he wasn't just knowledgeable and polite and easy to work with; Jeff responded to our emails and texts the same day, and usually within the hour. Having a responsive Realtor makes you feel in good hands, you know? It wasn't just about "making the deal" with Jeff - he gave us actual customer service. That is a rare thing these days, no matter the line of work. When we finally found "our house", he was a clever, firm, and fair negotiator. We are not "win at all costs" people but we don't want to be taken for a ride. Jeff created offers and contract language that saved us thousands of dollars and headaches. At one point we thought the deal might fall through. We worried Jeff might feel like we were "wishy-washy" or were wasting his time. But Jeff was not despondent or frustrated. He explained that all deals are unique and they don't all work out. Jeff never once made us feel like we should take a deal we didn't like. Again, having a local expert, who negotiates well, but doesn't pressure you? How valuable is that? For us, it meant everything, and it meant that we were able to close the deal after all. I could go on and on about Jeff and Surette Real Estate. When Jeff had to be out of town, his colleague Shawn Knox stepped in to facilitate showings. And yes, like Jeff, Shawn is extremely knowledgeable about Kennebec County having grown up here himself. Our experience with Shawn and Jeff has been so positive we would feel comfortable working with anyone from Surette Real Estate. Another thing about Jeff is that he's very good with rules and laws governing real estate agents and contracts. I found this to be very comforting. He was event director of the Maine Association of Realtors. I mean, c'mon: Do you need a Realtor in Kennebec Valley? Jeff was the right choice for us, hands down. We would feel comfortable with Jeff SELLING for us, too. His network is extensive, to say the least. You want someone who knows the other brokers when you are selling your house. Jeff knows them. Jeff seems to know everybody in these parts! But when you go to Surette's website, it isn't gimmicky. They aren't annoying with marketing and they aren't about "flash". They are about treating you like a human being while they get the job done. Their reputation speaks for itself. Example: Look up Jeff's reviews on Realtor.com. Who gets 149 5 Star Reviews? Honestly. Alternately, look at the percent of home sales in the area that Surette and Jeff are involved in. They have a crazy market share for their size of office. Whether you want to buy or sell a $150k property or $1M property, Jeff Jolicoeur is the confident, "quiet professional" for the job.

Experiencia negativa: Amy st. peter’s is a very unprofessional person and a snake i wouldn’t trust her with selling or buying of a home just due to how she handled our situation

Experiencia negativa: I have nothing against Century 21 as a whole, more or less just an agent. Amy is extremely unprofessional, she came into the house that we are renting (meant to buy) and pretended to be an appraiser, when it reality she’s not an appraiser. She is a real estate agent, so it would be a conflict of interest to be both. She was helping out a fellow friend, the owner of the home. She asked to take pictures for this “appraisal”, which we agreed to, of course. She then sent said pictures to the landlord claiming we are “damaging the place” when in reality this place was almost foreclosed on by said owner and left for SEVERAL years without anyone living in it, which resulted in multiple issues in the home, extreme mold, pipes bursting and more. We indeed have done nothing but help this place out. We are not impressed.
