If you are a soldier PCSing in or out of the area Joe is the only agent you need to call. He works harder than any real estate agent, often acting on your behalf if you are out of state. He goes above and beyond what a typical agent offers, is extremely responsive, and maintains a long list of trustworthy contractors if needed. Danielle is an incredible property manager. Upon listing our home with North Star we switched management companies so it was all under one roof. Our only regret is not utilizing Danielle for the entirety of our ownership.

He would stall and claim he could not reach his client, avoid answering questions, and set the final walkthrough for the morning of the closing. Then when significant new damage was discovered during the walkthrough, he blamed us, refused to negotiate for repair costs, had someone do a terrible coverup job, insulted us repeatedly, and threatened to sue if we did not go through with the initial offer. We had no say in who the seller picked as a realtor, but please do not give this slimeball any of your business! (I highly recommend Stephen Gleason and William Leepy from NNY Realty instead)

Experiencia positiva: Ive lived in a North Star Real Estate Rental since December of 2021, I've lived in 2/3 apartments of our current triplex and its not been too bad of an experience the whole time. First we worked personally with Michael Hall, then we had another property manager who was weird and gave us issues but nothing that was a deal breaker. (She just kept talking about bringing her daughter and her grand baby to our property and would consistently forget appointments and walkthrough dates). We've had Bri Hinkley as our property manager through North Star for the past 3 ish years probably. Shes always been super nice and polite, she prioritizes our issues when they do arise, shes accomadated rent price changes, roommates leaving, pets, and a whole renovation on the whole apartment without us feeling forgotten about. Shes good about trying to make sure everyone gets the work they need done on schedules that work for them and reaches out if anything does change (where as the previous one id have to call her and figure out where she was and id find out later she forgot about us entirely).

My sister and brother-in-law have been attempting to contact the property manager, Danielle Stover, for over a month without receiving any response. Their calls and inquiries have gone completely unanswered. Prior to this, I had a friend who also attempted to work with this office and experienced the same issue no returned calls and no follow up communication. This pattern of behavior is extremely concerning and reflects poorly on the business. Additionally, I am aware of another applicant who was approved for a property my sister was interested in. Despite this, my sister never received any communication or updates regarding other available properties she had inquired about. This lack of follow-up only adds to the concern about how applicants are being handled. Given the repeated nature of these experiences, I find this conduct highly unprofessional. It also raises serious concerns about potential discriminatory practices, particularly toward Black clients. This is not something that should be overlooked. I strongly urge Northstar Real Estate to address these communication failures and ensure that all prospective clients are treated fairly, professionally, and with respect.
