Experiencia negativa: $300 dollars in application fees no call I was told they call if denied or accepted by multiple front desk lady's. They have 20 plus employees they can have the respect to call it takes 2 seconds very unprofessional in my opinion. After someone puts that much money down. Imagine waiting that long and they didnt if even think to call. Also most realtor places charge $50 to $55 dollars. No respect Terrible customer service! Told I was going to be sent a letter was lied to. If there was a zero star I would give that. Have respect get respect. Could not imagine what renting from them would have been like. Thank you Jesus Evil will be exposed Scams will be exposed Light always wins. Dont bother with your copy and paste responses.

Experiencia negativa: I recommend you stay away! When renting this place. They kept charge back from 8 months ago. For the Cam. I did pay for last month over $300 from January to July, but now they did the same way, it say pay for Cam from January to August.

Experiencia negativa: I have epilepsy . I have a ok income I was referred by a local lawyer who told me they could help. I came twice and no call back. I wanted a house for rent. Out of the way. So I can possibly live noice a seizure free. I NEVER got a response my background is clean. To top it off I had a house fire and still haven’t heard back from them. Hurtful cause I’m sure if they had situations like some of us. They would want a chance.

Experiencia negativa: We lot almost $200 to the application process. We asked if there was a certain amount that had to be made in income to rent so then after the no that came from that question the application came back denied. Of course no return of funds. They're making a killing on charging $95 a person then doing it all over again after turning down the applicants. I moved out of state now so I put it behind me .

Although I went through the agency, the homeowner and his wife were extremely attentive and took care of any minor hiccups (which were few and far between) I had throughout my time at their home. Whether you’re a new renter, or someone who’s experienced, this agency is definitely a good one. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you KREA!

From the moment I stepped foot into the building and received a warm greeting from the employees to the constant reassurance from Jimmy to make choices I wanted to, I always felt in control. Jimmy did a great job keeping me informed and updated on any information I requested, and he was always willing to go above and beyond his duties to try and find a home for me and my partner. Jimmy did a great job including my partner in any/all decisions being made during the buying process which made a great impression and ensured all parties were on board with any decision being made towards a home. Experiencia fantástica: I use to manage my properties myself to save money but since I handed over my properties to Kannapolis Real Estate it has been amazing. I don't have to worry about the late calls from tenants about maintenance or rent issues. They have a small management fee but its well worth it for my time not having to deal with issues. Their invoicing and repairs are very transparent and I feel its a great value. One of my better decisions in investing.

Experiencia negativa: My brother has been a tenant for maybe a couple years, and he's now leaving the home he's been renting. The quality of the house is extremely poor. The front door doesn't lock, the floors in the back of the house are falling in, and they've also been contacted multiple times concerning the heat and air conditioning (none of which have been fixed or even looked at). He's about to turn in his key and was told that if they don't receive $500 from him when he turns in his key that they will issue a warrant for his arrest (after he told them that they would get last months rent as soon as he gets paid). Ummm in North Carolina you can take someone to civil court for rent but you CAN NOT have them arrested. ALSO, in North Carolina, a tenant may withhold rent if things are not being fixed..... like an air conditioner for instance. Now, I don't appreciate people who try to do dirty business, and you certainly don't threaten to arrest someone when that's not at all possible. The ONLY state that can have tenants arrested for not paying rent is Arkansas. I suggest your employees learn the difference between a warrant and a subpoena, and I also suggest if you do want your money that you work on your maintenance.

I would love to take this opportunity to say that this company has been in business since 1941 and has taken great pride as to our place in the community that we serve. Over the last 76 years we have provided housing for thousands of wonderful people that have placed their trust in us. It is always hard to turn someone away with not being to help them find what they want but, we are bound and required to place the best available rent prospects in our client/owner's homes. All rental applications are reviewed equally and final decisions are based on the applicants that show the best history and circumstances to be placed into a particular home. Those decisions are always based on credit, background checks and financial status. There is always a risk of hurt feelings to those prospective renters that may have lost out on a home to another applicant that possessed a little higher evidence of the qualifications. It always hurts to be turned down. We wish that we could place everyone in the home of their choice. We take great pride in our ability to work with both renter and property owners. We follow every step to make sure the best renter that is available is put in the home they desire. For those that are beaten out by higher qualified applicants, we are always willing to discuss why they were not picked but, we are not allowed to discuss their credit reports with them nor divulge any information on other applicants or owners. We thank you all for the opportunities that we are given by all that come in our doors and promise you that we will give you the best service that we are allowed to give without compromising our company in any way that is not allowed.

Experiencia negativa: The lady Sherri lies. I went to get into a place and the landlord even told me that he wanted to rent to me. He even called the office and told the lady. Then I turned in my application and called her back she told me she already called and said she found a better application. And said she already rented it out. I went by the property and the rent sign is still up becareful with these people they try to take your money and lie. Don't rent 208 Rosemont ave kannapolis they don't tell you but it's over priced and the area is full of drug dealers I know cause I love close by.

Experiencia positiva: They were wonderful. Anytime we needed maintenance done, it was done quickly and without argument. No issues over rent (even if we tended to pay on the 5th and sometimes, due to holidays, it'd be closed. Never got hit with a late fee as long as the rent was through their dropbox by the 5th). Only cons: We got a random inspection a year into our lease. It was basically the EXACT same walkthrough they should've done with us at the beginning of the year, but outside it being kind of bizarrely timed, it was fine. (the guy doing it did, apparently, forget we had pets in our lease and momentarily accused us of housing unallowed pets. When I said "Uh...no, we have two on the lease" he just kind of shrugged and went about his day. The only issue I thought would arise, that the stupid firealarms wouldn't stay on anything, he just fixed and didn't lecture about wishing we had called about them or anything). And the owner of the actual house decided to sell the property, but KREA was always very accommodating to us and understanding and even convinced the owner to push back the sale date when we explained we were getting married around the same time and would really appreciate not having to look for a place to live on top of planning a wedding. Overall--super professional, easy to work with, not overly involved in your affairs but timely responses when needed (even with older homes that needed some more extensive and costly plumbing repairs). Their timing of things is kind of weird, but as long as you take plenty of pictures and give them a detailed list when you do YOUR walkthrough, everything should be fine. I got the most money back from any security deposit of anywhere I've ever lived from them--all with no fuss and no silly charges. (I apparently stole a curtain rod that I thought I had brought with me. They only charge me ten for a replacement. Many places would charge an absurd amount for such a simple mistake). Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Don't apply for a rental place at Krea. They are picky with the landlord on who have the privilege of renting from them. Even if your credit is good they won't accept you.
