For months before the purchase, we relied on her to send listings for us to look at and asked a lot of questions about local buildings, houses, and especially basements. We are pretty new to basements. Karie was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Monument and real estate. She also educated us about radon gas and radon mitigation systems. We have purchased several homes over the years, and Karie was hands down the best agent we have worked with. She gets things done, follows up every time, and never left us feeling alone or without total support during our buying journey. Should you need an agent, I very highly recommend Karie. Experiencia fantástica: We began working with Karie McLain in December of 2021, after an unsuccessful attempt to purchase a home several years ago, and she was wonderful! She came at the great recommendation of a work colleague, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her! Given the challenges of the current market, we had to expand our search to areas we hadn’t considered previously, and also simultaneously looked for land in hopes of building a home, if we didn’t have luck finding an existing home. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and works hard to understand the challenges in our current market, predicted trends, and planned changes to existing communities. Our hope was to purchase a home with plans to remain for the long term and raise our little ones. Because of how quickly this city has grown, it was important to us to find a home where the area around us wouldn’t change drastically. We’ve seen neighborhoods change and what once seemed like a quiet place to settle, is now overwhelmed with major roads and traffic. On our first meeting with her, she kindly walked us through various areas and neighborhoods that could potentially be a good fit for our family, to give us the best chance possible at finding a home that would work well for us, which was a huge help, as many of these we hadn’t considered in the past. She’s incredibly timely, and communicative- in hunting for land simultaneously, she worked hard to keep us updated when builders occasionally released lots of land so that we could secure an appointment to make an offer, and always made it her aim to work closely with the other parties involved to ensure we had as much information as possible, so we could make a thoughtful decision together. Ultimately we found an older existing home we loved - Karie was able to send a preview our way prior to it being listed on the market, and helped us secure an appointment to see the home as soon as it was listed. Karie was wonderful in communicating with the sellers agent so that we understood what the sellers needed most, to help us draft a thoughtful and competitive offer. She was able to guide us with the timing of our offer and items to include to so that our offer was fair, and in line with other offers on the table - which is incredibly tough to do in this competitive market. Our process through closing was smooth, Karie has a wonderful team, and was able to provide us with a great home inspector who was able to squeeze us in on short notice and was incredibly detailed in his report, and was able to provide us with the guidance on which items needed to be addressed soon, and which items could wait, which was sincerely appreciated. Though our closing was easy, we ran into a hiccup when obtaining the keys for our home - unfortunately the sellers’ movers forgot to load a bed, two dressers, two old fridges and a few decorative items on to the truck- and these were left behind. Karie was able to coordinate with the sellers’ agent, and they both met me at the home and easily moved the items out. We’ve been though many moves, and absolutely understand that things happen- but was so grateful that Karie offered to be there to see things through, we’re so grateful for her support. This is a challenging time to purchase a home - we’ve been so grateful for Karie, she was a wonderful resource, was incredibly thoughtful in her approach and a tremendous support through this from start to finish- we could not recommend her enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Karie is amazing, After finding out that we had to move in a very short time period we contacted Karie, she was over three days later with the professional photographer, virtual tour and drone video team getting everything taken care of. She walked us through the pre-listing process, made some suggestions on how best to show our home and helped me find some contractors to get some last minute repairs done. She is very responsive via email, phone and text. We listed our house and 4 days later after 6 showings we had an over asking offer that we accepted. Her team has been walking through the rest of the inspection and closing process with us and I have nothing but good things to say about their professionalism, responsiveness and willingness to work with what we need to do. If you want to feel like you're the only client you need to work with Karie.
