Experiencia negativa: Absolutely no maintenance or repairs done while holding a security deposit and collecting two months rent from a disabled prospective tenant who never took possession, due to continued lack of habitability of the apartment 36 days after paying the security deposit and the first months rent, who cancelled the lease agreement because Parrish Properties violated it through their failure to properly maintain it (apartment) in good repair. Note damaged walls, doors, disgusting medicine cabinet and cockroaches, even inside of the refrigerator. They allege they're entitled to retain the security deposit for "holding" the apartment after breaching the contract by failing to ever make it habitable as they are required to do according to the lease.

In this time , anytime we have been in need of repairs , even after hours they are very quick to respond. Debbie is very kind and professional , always helpful and has been wonderful to deal with. I would highly recommend them .

Experiencia negativa: Just went to look at property for rent. None of the pictures on their website was for the side of the duplex that was available. Windows were broken. Felt like we might fall through the floor. No room for a reasonably sized washer and dryer. AC unit wasn't properly set in the window leaving a big gap. Some lights didn't work. Wasted our time.

Things turned south, and we found ourselves in a terribly traumatic situation with my so-called friend. Parrish took over, gracefully followed our laws, which unfortunately are not exactly Landlord friendly, and she moved out of the house much sooner than I dreamed possible. Thanks Debbie and Jeff !!

Experiencia negativa: Parrish Properties is a great place to rent from if you go directly through them. The reason I'm only rating 1star is because we rented the house on 2401 Oakwood Road in Midway, and the Landlord and his wife were horrible to deal with when we had to cut our lease early due to me having complications with my pregnancy and at risk of losing our baby. We tried to explain that they let my husband go because he stayed out of work to be with me in the hospital and that we were possibly losing my baby and all they did was cuss and say "boo hoo for yall." The worst part was they blocked the drive way off to were we couldn't even get to the home to pack our things. We had to bring officers since we were still in our lease and in the month we had already paid for. I will end that Parrish property is great and we are grateful they were so kind the 7 months we dealt with them. The landlords acted foolishly. So if you want neighbors who constantly knock on your door a week before your rent is due and are constantly coming up on the property while your not there, rent 2401 Oakwood rd.

Experiencia fantástica: I had looked for a month to find a place to live. I found a house and talked to Jeff. He met me at the place we talked. And next day I went in and signed lease. Super nice people. I had talked to other realtors but none were as friendly and helpful than Parrish . I give them thumbs up!

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want to live in a dirty, mold infested, roach infested house. I am a Disabled Veteran who recently moved to Greeneville with my family. We found a house for rent online listed by Parrish Properties. My uncle whom is local went and looked at the house for us and told Mrs. Wilson that the house would be fine IF it was cleaned. She told him that it would be. We knew we needed to paint the living room and that was not an issue. My father and I arrived on 10-27-16 with a uhaul trailer and two vehicles full of household items to find a house that was dirty, infested with black mold and infested with roaches (dead and alive). The house had not been cleaned. Mr. Wilson's response was the house was really dirty and they had spent five days cleaning it. Totally not the case! The vanity in the bathroom was disgusting and broken. They claimed they thought it had been fixed. Again not the case. The bath tub had mold growing up the back and was rust stained caused by the water. The toilet water was brown and the water coming out of the faucets was red due to the house sitting for so long. The finished basement had mold growing up the walls and the fire place had burned up wood and about 10 packs worth of cigarette butts thrown in it. The white tile floor in the basement was almost black from being so dirty. In each bedroom the closet doors were not on the hinges but leaning up against the shelves in the closet. Every room in the house needed to be painted. The hard wood floors were sticky and nasty. Mrs. Wilson's response was there was no mold and there were no doors off the hinges. I took pictures and emailed them to her. The yard had grass and weeds growing up to the windows. The fenced in back yard was not fenced in. The pictures on Parrish Properties' website showed a very nice house. This was not the case. We found another house on their website and asked if we could look at it. She told us that she WOULD NOT rent another home to us and WOULD NOT refund any money. We paid $800 security deposit, $250 pet deposit, $100 for October rent, $400 towards November rent. We ended up having to spend another $1200 to find a home through another company. We went to her office twice and both times she was there but was "unavailable" as her and her husband watched us pull up through the front window. Neither of them would come out to the house while we were there. She would only communicate via email and only a couple telephone calls. We explained to her that our home in Virginia was being rented and we had to be out by November 1st and that this situation was going to put us in a homeless status. She had no concern and was not willing to work with us at all. She sent an email releasing us from the lease but to date have not received a formal document. Not one dime has been refunded. I hope this review will stop this from happening to someone else. This all could have been avoided if she would have just done the right thing.
