They helped us navigate selling of my parent’s house after my father passed away—which included a number of tricky variables (reverse mortgage, slow market, slow time of the year) —with competence and confidence. They guided us through successfully marketing and preparing the house for sale, and despite there being a significant number of properties available in the area, brought us two offers in short order. Mike took care of much of the administration and deftly handled numerous panicked text messages and phone calls from me with calmness and kindness. She was very attentive and worked hard to get the best deal I could have. Then 15 years later I was relocating and I used an agent my neighbor recommended. He was not very enthusiastic about marketing my home, felt that in the middle of a contagin the house would just sell itself. After a few months with barely any viewings and only a couple of low ball offers I decided not to continue our relationship anymore and reach back out to Jennifer. Her and her team did a magnificent job in marketing the house, had a good deal on staging and photography, held an open house and had an offer in 1 month. It wasn't the best but it was the situation (covid and the bad real estate market based on high interest rates) and not Jennifer. She handled the silly requests, like going into the house and making changes before the buyer even had any legal right to, and made sure the sale went smoothly without having to bother me. I would have used her in the purchase of my new home but it's 3,000 miles away and she wasn't licensed to practice there. Her office was right down the street from our home, and she hosted amazing parties and get togethers with free snacks and such for her clients. She would also occasionally drop off cute gifts at our doorstep for special holidays throughout the year. Her Christmas party in particular, hosted at her home, was extremely memorable with beautiful Santa pictures of our baby daughter taken there for free. Definitely an awesome perk of having her as our realtor! We also referred her to two of our friends who were purchasing homes during these years and they both had great and successful experiences as well. When we decided that we were going to move back to the east coast, we immediately reached out to Jennifer as we knew we wanted her help in selling our home that she had originally helped us buy. Jennifer suggested we upgrade our house with new paint and carpet if possible in order to best prepare it for the sale. We were a little skeptical but we trusted her so we went ahead and did it.
