Experiencia fantástica: They are very well kept apartments. Ours was freshly painted and very clean when we moved in. They give you the replacement filters for the heater/ac in the unit every few months when it is time to replace it. Not a lot of noise comes through from our neighbors on either side of our apartment. The apartment itself is fairly spacious and each room is decent sized. Our unit also came with washer/dryer hookups. The owners and management are awesome and do a great job of keeping residenta informed. Definitely plan on living here for several years.

Experiencia fantástica: as someone who has moved quite literally everywhere, sterling republic has by far been the best management! they’re fast, they work with your situations, areas are always clean, maintenance on top and they’re very communitive, esp when it comes to things like reminding us to drop our faucets during a freeze or an exterminator is coming by. we are blessed to live where we do and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon! thank you sterling republic!!

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t recommend this “property management” group to ANYONE. They don’t know what’s going on at their own property the “manage”. They tell you the owner is the only person who knows anything about the problem which completely defeats the purpose of them having a job. They are so out of touch with the properties it’s crazy parking basically comes down to whoever’s lived there the longest has “set” parking based on what they demand which is not in the lease at all

Experiencia negativa: I literally typed up the truth on this place and I kid you not Google's system won't accept it as it is too long. So, long story short, if you sign a lease with this place, know when you leave they will charge you fees no matter how well you leave the unit. Takeaway: don't clean the unit. You will essentially be paying them to do the work yourself. With that being said, also be okay with losing a large portion of your security deposit upon move out. They are family run, which sounds good, but itsn't.

We’ve been here now for over 3 years, Chris has been great and we could not love Miss Marcie more than we do now! Awesome team, great place to rent here in Tyler!

Marcie in the office is hands down the whole reason we signed up - she worked with us to find a good fit, makes everything go so smoothly, and is just such a great manager! Maintenance is QUICK and I love the quality and speed of their work. We have lived in their rental for a couple of years now and didn't even hesitate to sign on for another couple of years - honestly I probably won't stay anywhere else until we end up buying a house. 10/10 and a huge shout-out to Marcie, thank you!

Experiencia negativa: Small apt size. Lots of extra charges. No screens when we moved in, not allowed to put in our own. Nothing to do. No community at all wash room is ridiculous. Wouldn't move here unless you have no other choice.

They always kept the property up to standards and fixed any problem with haste, and are excellent when it comes to communication. I would say the homes that are rented out are clean and are in good family friendly locations. Great company to rent from so I give it an A+ in my book!

I know one tenant and they are so pleased they are extending their lease. I met another tenant who was friendly and welcoming. I look forward to the quiet neighborhood and friendly family setting. Experiencia negativa: IMHO do not do business with this company. They do not really keep up their properties properly. The "maintenance man" does things on the cheep and not up to codes. Where I lived the they never cleaned up the leaves behind the units, had a bad roach problem due to that, and there as old carpeting left there from long before I moved in. The units had been modified by the "maintenance man" and violated every building code pertaining to the modifications and they were never inspected by building inspection. The fire alarm also will not work either because management has disabled it. The spot lights on the building were disabled and the parking on the dark side. Service calls had to be made many times before they would fix something. The property next to us, theirs too, had many problems as well. If they keep up everything as poorly as our place then imagine what the rest are like. Also, the woman in the front office is rude, disorganized, and seems to have no intention of helping you at all. In my humble opinion, it's best to stay away from these people.

Experiencia negativa: This place is terrible, a renters worst nightmare is putting it mildly. Besides the fact that Chris is the most unprofessional manager Ive ever met in all my years of renting. He is a liar and a thief and will do anything to not give your outrageous deposit back. The unit had a leak in the roof for a year that had molded and was never fixed. The maintenance men came to fix the stove while I was at work left burners on and an oven mitt was melted on the stove before I got home.I would recommend this place to maybe an arch enemy thats about it.

Experiencia negativa: Never go to Country Place Apartments Came in recently to see about renting an apartment, the property manager was very rude. She said that she wouldn't rent to me because she was saving her apartments for people she would rather have there. I'm a black man and when you drive through the place you see hardly in people of color living there, so it's like she implied she wouldn't want my race there. She sat and played on her phone barely making eye contact with an older man stood in the hall watching.

Then tried to evict me just because they thought someone else was living with me not only that but im so glad i keep all my receipts and they go to my email the owner Chris is nothing but a liar and is rude he tried to have me pay 675 extra for rent when i already have sent me a eviction notice and told me to either pay rent or quit. went up to his off showed him my receipt from when i paided the 675 then he tried to tell me i never paid the application fee i had proof of that as well on top of that after i showed him i asked him do i have to pay the eviction to the court he told me yes i didnt understand why i had to if it wasn't my fault he filed over victorias mistake

Experiencia fantástica: I've rented from Sterling Republic for 5 years now and I am so satisfied with the service especially at the country place apartments they have a playground for my kids as well as a full court basketball court and 24 hr laundry facilities it's well lit at night time for easy exiting of your vehicle and entry of your apartment and the neighbors are really nice I would recommend this and many of the other properties that Sterling has to offer to my family and friends

He takes pride in raising the quality of his properties routinely and keeping/upscaling the safety factor significantly for the tenants. The improvements I have seen take place on properties is drastic in a positive manner. As a vendor, SR is prompt, respected and a very good customer to deal with. All positive in my book. .

Experiencia fantástica: Sterling Republic bought the property (formerly known as STONE COUNTRY APARTMENTS, now known as COUNTRY PLACE APARTMENTS) approximately two years ago. My family has lived there for the past four years and this year will make five. Since they've taken over the management of the property many improvements have been made to make it feel more like home, rather than just apartment living. Some of the improvements made include but are not limited to - the installation of gutters on all the buildings, the installation of speed bumps (making it safer for the kids playing on the playground & basketball court area), as well as the installation of much needed lighting (to ensure the safety of all residents during the evening and night time hours). Whenever we have had a maintenance issue (no matter how major or minor the issue) the staff is & has always been prompt and courteous in resolving the issue. For instance I came home one day to find that our hot water heater had gone out and had been running all day. I called the after hours emergency maintenance number and someone was there within 30 minutes. An hour later I had a new water heater installed (and it was pouring rain that day). Sterling Republic has also on more than one occasion hosted a cook out to foster relationships between them and the community as well as to allow for everyone to meet and get to know their neighbors. Sterling Republic is a company that cares about its tenants and ensures that its properties are safe, maintained, and family friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you Sterling Republic, Inc. for working with my current situation and getting me into a clean and safe place. I appreciate the fact that I can call the office with any emergency at any time day or night. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I met Chris and he was very friendly and helpful. Referred me to a few electric companies. My neighbors all have mentioned how quickly they respond to maintenance requests. The cleaning lady was also very friendly and even gave me tips on cleaning the bathtub quicker.

Experiencia fantástica: I live at the Country Place Apartments and they are not trashy...it's not infested with fleas. The landlord is all about character and respect. I love living where we are. Anytime anything needs fixed it's fixed promptly. The maintenance crew and office staff are the best I've ever dealt with. The property is always clean and put together nicely. I would recommend anybody live out here it's quiet and peaceful. Everybody is friendly and the property is just nice all around.

And the property, that I viewed was in a very nice, good neighborhood but I not the space I needed. Keep up the good work!!

Experiencia negativa: The apartment complex has never fixed any of the original problems with the apartment after I moved in. The staff verbally threatened me today. The staff told me that unless I renew my lease, I will have to pay a surcharge even though I have attempted to pay for the remainder of the lease. The apartment has problems since the day that I moved in, the shower leaks to downstairs, the stove has not been cleaned for many years, the upstairs sink is clogged, the place is infested with cockroaches, and outside of the building is blocked with cut trees. I can't even pull a moving truck up to my apartment. When I pointed out that I only had two months left on my lease, and I was going to pay it. The staff said I needed to pay a surcharge for not renewing my lease. The staff said that unless I paid the surcharge or renewed my lease, they would not refund my deposit. When I brought these many problems to the attention of the owner, he started swearing at me, and demanded that I leave the office. He said, "If you are going to bring complaints, get the hell out of the office." When I pointed out that the company has an online computer system for complaints and needed fixes, the staff called me a liar, and said that I have never filled out any paperwork.

Experiencia negativa: Giving this place a star is more than it deserves, when moving into the duplex/apartments they had the dishwasher had never been cleaned along with the stove, washer had dirty brown water in the bottom of it, AC didn't even work, the whole house looks like it hadn't been cleaned since it had been built. If you don't mind living in complete trash then this is the place for you, or if you don't mind spending a week cleaning everything and then even longer than that getting them to fix everything that isn't working. Don't believe a word that the owner or his reps say all they want you to do is sign a lease everything they say before hand is complete lies, when you go to view the property and it has things that still need to be done and they say oh we will take care of that, that's a lie what you see is what you are going to get. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.
