Experiencia negativa: Wallace Campbell had been "managing" our Condo Community for over 30 years, and we just severed our ties with them because they were not "working for us." For the past year, we had been "Managed" by Zev Schechter. I use the term "Managed" loosely because Schechter did not want to work, and told us that on numerous occasions. Schechter and Campbell did not do anything proactively. In fact, they allowed a member of our board to operate on his own, failing to get board approval. They did not provide guidance to our board. We were paying them a nice fee, yet we received nothing for that fee. They were rarely on site, they totally lacked transparency, communication is sorely lacking, and Zev Schechter should be reassigned or fired. Our cleaning company told me today, "Mr. Schechter told his boss, "he is too busy handing other matters, and did not have time to meet in person." This happens all the time. Residents of the community complained they could never reach Schechter on the phone. Campbell failed us miserably. This is why we hired a new Management company.

Experiencia negativa: Worse company ever. Very unprofessional Connor and his dad Curtis talks down on people. Calls people insanely names, always calling me out of my name. I 1000% do not recommend renting out none of their properties it will be the worse decision you’ve ever made. My office space has so many issues we’ve asked them numerous times to fix 6 months later it still has not been fixed. Crazy part is as soon as they have a problem with you, you’ll hear from them in 2 seconds. But when it comes to AC not working or Lighting not working, or holes in the wall that were supposed to be fixed, or mold being all over the wall. They still haven’t not fixed. Once I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM

Experiencia negativa: Hillside Terrace Apartments are RIFE with mice. They sent out a 70 year old man with bait traps that the mice sniff once and laugh at. Completely unsanitary living conditions, unbelievable that anyone is willing to pay to live here. I’ll change my review when I see improvement.

Experiencia negativa: I've sent them several emails (that's what they tell you to do) about a water issue in my condo that no one else has. I had a plumber come out and examine my pipes to make sure it wasn't an issue inside my condo. It is not. They have ignored my emails. Attorney is next.

Experiencia fantástica: We are a sign company and have been working with Jack and his team for several years. We find them to be very professional, courteous with high standards and timely follow through. Their properties are clean and always kept in good order. Highly recommended for your needs!

Experiencia negativa: unprofessional staff who give back handed answers, making me pay rent for a month that I haven't lived through yet, sad because it is a nice place in the county, but management needs to do waaaaay better, still haven't heard back abut concerns i've had UPDATE: Almost a full year and still as unprofessional as ever, never getting clear responses from anybody. You're made to feel like you're the dumb one, don't bother if you're easily agitated.

Experiencia negativa: Our apartment unit is awesome and we love it, but this management company is terrible at doing the one thing they're supposed to do, which is MANAGE the property. Good luck ever trying to get on the phone w them. And Beth the property manager is rude and has no respect for tenants paying them $13,000 a year.

Experiencia negativa: Mediocre HOA management company. If you have issue you will be ignored and receive nothing only condescending nonanswers, especially from P.L. Property great but the management company rep we have is just enjoying small talk and not actually doing their job.

Experiencia negativa: Don't do it forget you ever heard the name Wallace H Campbell, poor management, poor maintenance, poor customer service, if you ever want to go slumming rent one of their properties an experience you will never forget. If you do decide to move into one of their properties have maintenance experience because you will need it. No security, no cameras , but your rent is due on the first of the month, hilarious.The owners which I believe are his sons now clearly are not looking down low to see what's going on because it's a hot mess.

Experiencia negativa: I should have brought this to your attention sooner, Ms. Harrington. None of the windows in my unit 2B shut properly. All 3 of the main windows require 2 people to lock and secure them. The building Supervisor can attesting to this fact. When he repaired my loose floor runner in front of my kitchen, he and I both had to work together to close the windows. While one person pushes the window up the other MUST push it down then quickly lock the window in order for the latch to catch. I trust upon my exit of 2B I WILL not be charged for new windows, correct?

Experiencia negativa: This company is undergoing a criminal investigation (2018) for fraud and misappropriation of funds. They are irresponsible and are run by a bunch of quack ambulance chasers. They have been ripping people off for years.

Experiencia fantástica: A boutique management and brokerage shop that has been around since 1952. The owners are happy to deal with their clients personally and staff is very knowledgeable. They have assisted our family office with numerous acquisitions, leasing and management assignments for over twenty years. Strongly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I moved into my apartment at Abbey Square Apts in Catonsville on Feb 4, 2017. When I did my walk through I found the windows in both bedrooms didn't lock nor close all the way down, the balcony door didn't lock and a wooden stick was put in place to keep it close which it still don't close all the way and wind still comes through and my carpet was dirty. I was promised that all these issues would be addressed and fixed. The windows were fixed but that's it! Only a month later I am having more issues and also MICE..... This Property was supposed to be newly renovated and I am having so many problems. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this property at All.... Only being here for a month and now have to move because of false advertisement paying 1150 a month for a dump with poor management and still not having a copy of my lease nor the problems fixed that I complained about during my walk through. Please Save your money and time this place is not worth it at all.

Experiencia positiva: I only go to drop off my rent payment. The building is clearly visible while driving in normal traffic. It's not wheelchair accessible. I'm not too fond of having to be buzzed in to fully enter the building. Their waiting area is kinda small (but again, I just go to hand in my rent so I don't need to sit). The usual lady at the front desk can appear rude (habitually doesn't immediately acknowledge you when you approach the counter) but I assume she's pretty busy trying to multitask (but maybe that's not a good enough excuse to not at least say "hello" or "I'll be right with you"). The paper-thin walls allow you to hear a little too much, but all in all I have yet to experience an issue with my rent being processed.

Experiencia negativa: Wallace H. Campbell is a poor excuse for a property management company. I rented one of their apartments in the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore and found out the hard way about their standards. The building was always dirty with trash and litter. The apartments (although newly remodeled) had rodents that were evident after moving in on day one. I paid for a parking spot behind the building and habitually I would come home to someone parked in my spot. When I contacted the company to tow the car, I was met with no sense of urgency although they were happy to take the extra $100 per month from me. When I moved in, they did not want to send me the final copy of my signed lease for whatever reason. It took about 5 months of constant emails and phone calls to finally get the lease (they didn't give me a copy the day I signed because the property manager needed to sign) and even when they sent it, pages were missing. Most of the issue I had with this company was with the customer service. When I called the management office to address these issues they were always rude, unavailable, and quick to rush me off the phone. They would send maintenance people into my apartment at any time, with no prior notice to the point where I walked out of the shower into my kitchen where a maintenance man was opening my door. I couldn't deal with this anymore and had an opportunity to move for work so I decided to pursue that. Unfortunately since they did not send me the full copy of my lease, I didn't know that any rent discounts would have to be paid back after terminating the lease. Even after speaking to their management about the process to end my lease, they gave me the wrong information. I found two other tenants on Craigslist who applied and ended up finalizing their own lease only to get a judgement letter sent to me months later. Stay away from them.

Experiencia positiva: I know people are generally unhappy with their property management companies, but I felt we had a great experience with WH Campbell in Baltimore. Maintenance requests were dealt with quickly, the common areas of the building were clean and kept clean regularly, and the area in the back of the building with parking and dumpsters was kept cleaned regularly. We felt they were well run and did a fine job managing the property.

Experiencia negativa: This company is so terrible. I own a condo and they manage the whole complex. I have had emergency water leaks due to owner above me and they fail to return my phone calls. I don't know how they stay in business

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely atrocious property management. Management refuses to communicate at all regarding any issues. I do not recommend ever renting an apartment from property managed by this terrible company.
