Experiencia fantástica: This community is the best! My parents live here and I always enjoy visiting them. The areas are well kept, the neighbors are very friendly and active. As a Realtor I really appreciate how well maintained the grounds and golf course are. Plenty of activities to do, the pool and gym is fantastic. You can see and feel the pride of the home owners as every house looks picture perfect. The homes have increased in value dramatically. In my personal and professional opinion it is a great place to live and would like to retire here.

Experiencia negativa: My uncle lives here and contributes to the community like everyone else and the board absolutely refuses to install a handicap lift so that those who are disabled can access the pool. The board says it is unnecessary and “there aren’t enough handicapped living here for us to bother installing it”. If you live here, share your thoughts on the matter. If you suffer from a handicap and would like to use the amenities here, DONT MOVE HERE!

Experiencia fantástica: My grand parents live here. This place is fantastic. They love it there. They have all types of sports rec stuff there and a gym. They have a lot of social events. The people there are all real nice. They also have a pool and a golf course. Only reason to leave the compound is to visit the grocery store. Great place.

Experiencia fantástica: 9/2012~~We are from PA and in FL to visit retirement communities. Where to Retire magazine rates SummerGlen as one of the top 50 retirement communitties in the country. Have wanted to see it for a few years. And we were not disappointed! What a lovely community and beautiful landscaping. We took a self-guided tour...not sure what happened there...but ended up we could take our time and really look around. The clubhouse was excellent, fantastic pool area and we were able to speak with a couple (while in the restaurant) not far from where we live in PA. They moved to SG just a few months before and love it! SG is right next to Interstate 75 but once inside SG you don't hear the traffic due to huge earthen berms with landscaping. I am not sure where you go for shopping. SG is resident owned and built by Florida Leisure. Not many communities that we looked at were resident owned in FL so we really liked that. Plus there are no bonds like some communities. SummerGlen is at the top of our list. Please see my review for the restaurant.
