Negative experience: HONESTLY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO RENT FROM THEM! I HAVE BEEN HERE AT THE BROADSTONE APARTMENTS AND HAVE HAD MULTIPLE RODENTS! IVE CALLED DEDE AND SHE TOLD ME I HAD TO FIND MY OWN PEST CONTROL?! LIKE WHAT? Called MULTIPLE PEST CONTROLS AND THEY TOLD ME IT IS THE COMPANIES RESPONSIBILITY!! NOT MINE!! IVE MADE NUMEROUS REQUESTS! NONE ANSWERED. THEY ALSO HAVE ROACHES! WHEN I MOVED IN THE APARTMENT WAS NOT WVEN CLEANED? If I could give the a -0 RATE I WOULD BECAUSE THEY SUCK AND ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!

Thank you for your feedback. We always strive for transparency and take the upkeep of Broadstone Apartments seriously. We have reviewed your full maintenance history and would like to clarify the record regarding your claims.

Our records show that our maintenance team has been highly responsive throughout your tenancy, successfully completing numerous portal requests for your unit since your move-in in May 2025. This includes dispatching technicians to snake your drains (where plastic razor covers were found causing the clog), replacing broken windows, and rehanging interior doors that had been damaged.

Regarding pest control, our records show that as far back as December 2025, our technicians formally advised you of our community policy: management provides routine quarterly exterior pest control, while interior traps and daily cleanliness to prevent pests are the responsibility of the resident.

Finally, regarding your claim of unanswered requests, you submitted a new work order through the portal today, May 27, 2026. This request is currently in our queue and will be reviewed during standard business hours alongside our property guidelines. We ask that all future communications regarding your maintenance queue be handled directly through your resident portal.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had an excellent experience with Blaze Property Management from start to finish. The entire move-in process was incredibly smooth, thanks to Brylie—she made everything easy and stress-free, and even surprised me with a thoughtful welcome-home gift. It was such a kind touch and truly appreciated. Ashlie at corporate has always been professional, responsive, and great to work with. Anytime I’ve had questions, Nicole or Shande have been quick to direct my calls to the right person and make sure I’m taken care of. Their customer service is consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, Blaze Property Management has provided fast responses, reliable communication, and a genuinely positive experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would be living at courtyard apartments because of the reputation it has had for years, but I have been here for about 4 months now and it has been great. Melissa has turned this place around and has worked hard to fix problems from previous people. This apartment has become much more family friendly and maintenance problems get fixed fairly quickly.

Negative experience: Avoid this company at all costs! From the moment we moved into one of their properties it was endless problems including mold in the kitchen cabinets, leaks in the ceiling, and a courtyard that would flood everytime it rained. The staff is rude and apathetic, and their 'maintenance' workers are incompetent. They couldn't even mail us our security deposit for over a month and we had to go pick it up in person. Never once received an apology either. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Negative experience: They don’t come fix anything ANYTHING. My ac hasn’t been not working for 3 days and I keep getting told “we don’t make the maintenance man’s schedules” plus they don’t even have their own maintenance man’s phones numbers so I can get ahold of them myself. It’s 90+ degrees outside and 80+ degrees in my house. I’m pregnant and have a kid living in this house. They are lazy. And ANYTIME you call and talk to Ashleigh she’s really rude.! I will NOT be renting from them again ever. They are fixing to get sued.!

Negative experience: We trusted Blaze to manage 10 of our rental units, and it was one of the worst decisions we’ve made. They charged for every small visit, yet provided almost no real management. Units sat vacant for four to five months because they never re-listed them unless we explicitly asked. This neglect cost us thousands of dollars in lost income. When a water heater burst in one unit, Blaze notified us but did nothing to mitigate the damage—no drying, no cleanup. By the time insurance inspected, the situation had worsened dramatically, leaving us with far greater losses. Tenants reported being left on month-to-month contracts for over six months with no follow-up from Blaze. In one case, neighbors—not Blaze—had to inform us that tenants had moved out months earlier, and Blaze still hadn’t noticed. Communication was almost nonexistent. They are extremely hard to reach, slow to respond, and completely disorganized. It became clear that to Blaze, clients are just numbers—they’re more interested in collecting their management fees than actually protecting your investments. We feel foolish for trusting them. Despite spending large sums every month on “repairs,” our units ended up in worse condition than when we purchased them. Save yourself the headache and the financial loss—avoid Blaze and find literally anyone else to manage your properties.

Positive experience: Blaze is a great company to rent from. They helped me when others wouldn't and provided me with a nice little place to live. Its a bit of an older place so it has it's quirks but to me thise are the appealing part. I had an maintenance issue and their guy Lawrence was out here quickly he is friendly and really knows is stuff. The problem was fixed quickly and with very little effort on my part.

Negative experience: The company is a whole joke! It took them a whole month to finally fix a hot water leak and when they fixed it my gas and water bill was $500 and Mrs.Ashleigh was very rude about it when I asked if there was anything they could do about it. Not to mention I have maintenance requests from 2 weeks ago that hasn’t even been checked out. If I could I would get out of my lease and go somewhere else. This house has problems after problems and they are lazy. Most of the time when I call they don’t even answer.

Negative experience: Horrible place to do business with Ashley and blaze real estate are extremely unprofessional they don't have any sympathy for people or their problems rent is late on the 5th I got paid on the 4th I work out of town and did not get home until around 10 I had to get dinner ready for 2 small children and get them ready for bed I finally got settled and sit down to pay my rent it was 12 30ish so the 5th was already here i figured well these people are human they know how life is ill call them in the morning and they would understand and just wave the late fee and was i wrong Ashley informed me shes heard every excuse in the book from renters and no matter what rent is due on the 1st and late fees will be charged on the 5th "and the just bought are property a little over 2 months ago so this was my first conversation iv had with them ever" without that being said I informed her i would be leaving a bad review and she stated " your going to leave a bad review because I won't wave your late fees now i really wont help you" and abruptly hung up the phone... Ashley your parents should be ashamed of you and if there is any retaliation from this review I have an excellent lawyer.... again folks don't do business with blaze real estate they are absolutely detestable creatures

Negative experience: Look at reviews of Courtyard Apartments to get an idea of how Blaze manages properties. I lived at the Courtyard Apartments before Blaze took over management and have friends who still live there. It used to be a warm community where people would sit out in the courtyard laughing and grilling out. Now residents cannot even do their laundry there anymore as the washers and dryers have been broken and management does not intend to fix them or evict the tenants who broke them and plainly use drugs/harass others on the premises. The changed atmosphere at the complex makes me sick. Many of my former neighbors have lived there 10+ years, several are disabled veterans, and they all deserve a safe, peaceful place to live with the basic amenities they have previously been able to depend on.

Negative experience: I moved in to broadstone apartments mid November and I have had hot water maybe 2 days since I've moved in. I hace reported the issue more times than I like to say and I still don't have hot water. And I have 2 kids in school that also enjoy hot water

Fantastic experience: After arriving here from Irving after paying $1k+/month in rent for a 1 bedroom apartment, I find a 2 bedroom for under $700/month through Blaze. The application process is simple and the staff is awesome. Their rental properties are bank financed so everything is up to code and inspected frequently. They're definitely a Blessing.

Fantastic experience: Blaze is by far the best landlord I have ever had. I currently rent an apartment at their Evergreen apartments. We have had zero issues despite the neighborhood's reputation. We have had only one matienance issue, which was outside at a water main, and they had it fixed promptly. The apartment is fairly remodeled. I mean not Beverly Hills but the best we have ever had. Fresh paint, cabinets that work, nice carpet, etc. Definitely will gladly recommend them to anyone. Hoping to rent from them until we can buy and looking forward to only moving once when we qualify for a bigger house. Check on their second chance rentals if you need a second chance or do not have the best rental history. I doubt you will regret it. It has been so nice to not have to worry about what will break next or if the landlord will fix it or not. Thank you Blaze for everything you do!

Positive experience: Rented for a year. Great management team, a little slow to respond to fix non emergency issues. Also never fixed the fence or oven liked promised. Would still rent from them again.

Negative experience: Put in an app for a townhome, I called Brandon to ensure I was doing it correctly...He tells me it rented but the other side is available and if I would like for him to process it for that one along with the $75 fee. I say great, yes please lets do that. I pay the $75 and he completely ghosts me. My co applicant called and left messages as well. I think after taking our $75 he could have at least said he was not going to rent us rather than telling me he was processing our app then ignore us. Called being a decent human and practicing atleast decent business practices.

Negative experience: They promise and promise that they will get things done and NEVER do. The hot water heater that I have shared in the apartment behind me I have paid for for 9 years!! Brandon also promised new blinds, stove, etc, etc. They absolutely do NOT do what they promised. They just collect the money and run. So if I were you I would run, run, run. Of course they are going to tell you blatant lies. The only time that they called was to ask me why the gas was off! And $30,000 of improvements Where are the improvements? I DID NOT get a new stove I still have the old one and it DOES NOT work anymore and the rest of the story to move me to an apartment in the back (in which was in way more in bad shape than mine now) but decided my rent would go way up so that DOES NOT mean that they offered me to move for FREE. Watch out people, they love to lie!

We have managed this property for 1 year and have provided over $30,000 in repairs and renovations. We have replaced the refrigerator and the stove. We have reached out several times to offer a better unit, upgraded with new paint, new water heater, new carpet, new blinds and even offered to pay to move her free of charge in order to provide a better, cleaner living space. We have been refused at every turn. She is a very good tenant and we have made every effort to rectify the neglect of previous management companies.
