Negative experience: Letter of good standing??? I feel very offensive when I was asked for this. I came from OCAR association. And because I’m switching broker, that’s why I have to go to Pacific West Association to sign up. The guy asked me a letter of good standing he said that just wanna make sure that I make my payment on time. Hello, I have been doing Realtor for at least almost 10 years. If I don’t pay, how can I closed transactions? Management should remove this letter of good standing requirement , because it’s taking an extra step to do , realtors feel very offensive . Why do you want to make us do more work? Or if we’re leaving the service because we are not happy with them why on earth you want us to ask for LOGS??? And we Realtor we make payment on time, hypothetically if we don’t make payment you just revoke our memberships. Why are you making us do extra step and it said letter of good standing i felt insulted . i paid in full upfront every time.. this LOGS step need to be removed. And for this reason, I will not join PWR. And I am sorry broker I would not join you as well because of this Ridiculous hideous requirement. I will stick with my current broker, thank you.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of this association for about 2 years and I can say that their customer service team needs better practices. I’ve had to call multiple times to confirm receipt of emails and receive confirmation of my requests over the phone and instead of getting resolve I get the run around. I expect better communication and support from an organization that I pay a decent amount of coins to be a part of yearly. Do better.

Fantastic experience: This is the Board of Realtors that I belong to. Great bunch of folks to work with.

Negative experience: Many agents think your board of Realtors have governmental powers, they do not. They are usually a Corporation or LLC and operate like any for profit business with the emphasis on profit. Many of the boards suppliment their reserves and financial statements with large fines imposed on agents. The board relies on select members to decide on fines. We are not clear if these select members are volunteers or paid for services. Many boards operate with the attitude that they can impose any fine or punishment on agents, regardless of any defense presented.

Fantastic experience: Friendly people to help and excellent classes for education.

Negative experience: Incompetent. Also, phone service is bad. On the phone forever, once held for 20 minutes then got disconnected, called a few more times waiting for awhile before I had to get off the phone because they didn't pick up for awhile.

After all of the years of their existence, it seems that there should be more than one. However, and be that as it may, I am delighted to report that their agent support desk is well and thriving.
