Fantastic experience: My husband & I first met Damon when we moved from FL to MS in 2023. Not knowing the area, we rented a home that Damon had listed with his property management company. They provided excellent customer service and following up with any issues that we had while renting. After some time, my husband & I decided to buy a home in MS. While working with Damon in the purchasing process, he went above and beyond! Damon showed excellent knowledge of the real estate industry. Fantastic experience: In 2012, I was getting ready to move 60 miles away from my house to be closer to my job and I didn't want to sell my house. First, I talked to a realtor, who I knew, to possibly contract her services as a property manager but I did not receive timely responses to get things started and I am not a patient person concerning my business matters. So then, I took a chance and searched online for a property manager. I saw Damon Wofford's information, contacted him, and he was on it immediately!!!! BEST CHOICE I COULD HAVE EVER MADE!!!! Damon came to my house on a SUNDAY (some people take weekends off), took pictures, had his contract ready for me to sign, and had renters for my house in less than TWO WEEKS!!!! Damon has been very professional, transparent, and PROMPT with every transaction regarding my house; from informing me of any necessary repairs to getting new tenants to collecting rent from the renters. I just sit back and wait for the rent money to be deposited into my account. THAT'S IT!!! The deposits are consistent and I am notified ahead of time for any changes in the amount that will be deposited. Damon keeps me informed of all my property activities/transactions through the owner's portal on his website. Damon's office is always available for me when I have any questions or concerns. Not only is Damon a GREAT PROPERTY MANAGER, he is really just a good person..... very personable and trustworthy. I highly recommend him for your property managing needs, you'll be very happy that you did. I know I am!!!!! I actually posted this around 2018.... Fantastic experience: Damon and his property management team really are top notch. He has been managing two properties for me for the last year (and both tenants just renewed their leases) and it has been a great experience. His team is proactive and accessible and great to work with. You can find property managers out there with slightly lower fees - but I guarantee it's not worth it. Damon's in-house maintenance services more than make up for what you're saving on that fee and the fact that his team just handles everything and keeps the tenants happy is priceless.

It was exceptionally clean and equipped with anything we might need for our stay! There were even some treats on the counter along with a fridge stocked with water and LaCroix. The home was beautifully decorated and the porch area outside was lovely. Being in an unfamiliar area, we also really appreciated all the security features! We were under contract within 72 hours of the listing and were very happy with the price. Positive experience: I really miss Damon Wofford being my property management company

Fantastic experience: Damon and his team have been professionally managing my rental home in Flowood since early 2019. They have been upfront with fees and have an entire team to manage repairs and upkeep. He meticulously qualified applicants and assumes responsibility for the tenants because of his thoroughness in placing them. I am active duty military and not stationed in the area. When routine maintenance (bug spray, HVAC service) and unexpected appliance replacement occurred, I can personally attest to Kathleen’s attention to the property in my absence. I highly recommend this business.

Fantastic experience: For the past 18 months Damon Realty Group has done an excellent job in managing my property. Damon has removed me from all the worries of dealing with my tenants wants and needs. His support crew has been quick and efficient in maintaining my property and the work has been nothing but professional grade. No work is done on the property if the cost exceeds a set threshold, without my approval. Monthly without fail, Damon will send me a notice of the electronic transfer of funds to my bank account, and will supply me a detailed statement of any costs in maintaining the property that month. Yearly a tax information file is provided that my CPA raved over. He told me it was the best one he has seen in years from a managing company. Without a doubt I consider the decision to use Damon Realty Group the best one I could have made. He made renting my property out stress free and easy!

I cold-called Damon on a Sunday as we were scouting out property managers and he promptly returned my call on a Sunday. Damon lined up a professional crew to help with some much needed renovations to our rental property. The renovations turned out great as did the professional photographs and property description that Damon posted online. Damon has a professional staff that is very helpful, but the main reason we love having Damon as our property manager is that he is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, dependable, and personable. Fantastic experience: A few months ago our dream home popped up for sale. I called Damon, and told him that it looked like we were back in the market for a new house (he had helped us search for a new home several years ago). He immediately got in contact with the home’s real estate agent, and set up a showing for us. He was there to answer all the questions during all hours of the day and night, and helped lead us through the entire negotiation and buying process. Every appointment we made, whether it was meeting with a roofer to do an inspection, a home inspection, a tree inspection, meeting the owners, you name it, he was there, taking notes, and helping us make wise and informed decisions. We closed on our dream home just a few weeks ago. We went from not even wanting to buy a house, to new home owners in just a matter of 6 weeks or so. What a whirlwind! We could not have done it without Damon. We highly recommend him.

We started with a different property manager years ago, but switched to Damon Wofford Realty and have been very happy with how everything is handled. We appreciate the constant communication from both Damon and Kathleen. We always know what is happening with our rentals, despite living out of state and we can always count on the consistent deposits and financial statements each month. My biggest fear when hiring a property manager was the level of screening for tenants and how my homes would be cared for; however, we have had consistent renters that have cared for our properties and I owe that to Damon. The fact that they keep re-signing leases also says a lot about how he treats his renters.

He does the heavy lifting of finding tenants, handling tenant requests, and addressing maintenance issues, but also keeps owners in the loop so they can make informed decisions. Negative experience: This is my response since I can't respond to what you posted below. I really appreciate you calling me on yesterday to get a better understanding but I feel you were more worried about your review than fixing the actually problem. "I have never gotten a bad review and am concerned about the one star review you posted." I understand the need to do damage control and make sure your company keeps its reputation within the community. Nothing is perfect all the time and sometimes we make mistakes but that is ok. This is how companies grow and become even better at what they do. I also understand that when someone that is representing the company makes a mistake, they will say what they need to to ensure their position with the company, even if it means not being completely truthful. Did they help you accumulate your research too? I have been looking at homes for an entire two months and majority of the properties I looked at asked for my tax info and pay stubs at the time. I had to complete the application just to view some of the properties. Therefore this information was easily accessible and I did not have a reason to not send it to you had I been asked to. Why would I prolong the process of my moving into a home I really liked? I have no reason to lie. I called Nov. the 7th because I saw the home was listed on another website cheaper than it was on yours and found out that was a mistake. I called on the 9th to find out if it was still available and filled out the application on the 12th once I got all of the money together. I spoke to Marci briefly on the 13th because she raised her voice at me which led to the aforementioned. After I spoke to you yesterday (Nov. 14th) you said you had to respond publicly. Right after you responded there was a price drop on the home I was interested in. I would have appreciated if you would have invited me into the office to properly discuss this and suggested on taking the price down on the home for my inconvenience. I hope this experience affords you an opportunity to enhance your business and grow within the community even more. I still maintain my former review. I wish you luck.

Negative experience: This place is completely rude and extremely disrespectful. The way you do BUSINESS is unheard of. How do you get away with talking to your prospects any kind of way? I first sent notice that I was interested in viewing one of your properties almost a month ago. There was a lot of confusion with signing up to view it. Someone canceled a couple of times and said they didn't see where I scheduled future viewing times. I finally got the chance to view the property *happy dance*. Kathleen met me there and looked as if she had a bad morning and was kind of nervous. She kept looking around with a mean face like she was waiting for something to happen. I laughed and asked her if she knew something about the area that she wasn't telling me. She said "she wasn't obligated or allowed to speak about the history of the neighborhood." She could only talk about the house. She then had the nerve to tell me, after how long it took me to get in, she couldn't stay long while my mother and I looked. My mom has a little trouble getting around and moves a tad slow which could have prompted that last statement. My mother and I liked the home and saw a lot of potential in it regardless of the previous statements and actions. I went ahead and filled out the application for the property Wednesday of last week. I didn't hear anything back from them. My experience as a business owner first is calling back my potential customers A.S.A.P........... as an experienced potential customer I'm used to getting a call back the same day if not the next. When I called the office on a Friday to check the status of the application, their assistant Marci sounded like she was irritated in hearing from me again. This was the same woman that had spoken with me every time I called in the beginning when no one showed up to the property during the text confirmed scheduled viewing times. She said it will take them 8-10 business days to complete an application... which, according to what they told me, should have only taken 15 minutes tops. She said neither person was in the office that day and Mondays are their busy days. She said I should get a call back on Tuesday or Wednesday. When I first spoke to them (almost a month ago) I stated that I was trying to leave my current home by the 16th of this month which is this Friday. Now I may have to wait another month before I find a place I like. I am beyond upset that she felt the need to raise her voice at me when I spoke with her today. Words cant express how disrespected I felt and am appalled by it. Please learn and re-educate yourself on what customer service is and apply it to EVERYONE. "A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business. "

I’m happy to report he actually exceeds my expectations in terms of service and professionalism. There are lots of agents who would be willing to sell you any house, but Damon is interested in a long term relationship with his clients based on trust and service, which unfortunately is rare in today’s world.

The maintenance team has respect for me therefore I respect and trust them at all times. If there is an emergency all I do is place a call to the office, before the day is over a repair person is at my house to correct the problem. Fantastic experience: My husband and I moved here from Dallas approximately 2 years ago and we rent a home that Damon manages. He takes care of issues expeditiously, professionally, and with a smile. He took care of a very large fallen tree across our driveway while we were out of town. He also had a tree removed that had fallen on the house. Both were removed within 24 hrs. His contract labor is also top notch. We had an air conditioner replaced by a competent and knowledgeable individual, and Damon's pest control guy is courteous and super sweet. Fantastic experience: When I moved to Florida, I wanted to keep my home as a rental property. Damon managed the property for me and my experience with him and his team has been exceptional! we went through three different tenants over three years, with no lapse in rental income between tenants. Damon handled everything without my having to be stressed out about any of the details - tenant vetting, advertising for tenants, making sure rent checks were coming in. If an issues came up with the house (needed new refrigerator, AC repair etc.) I would get a call from Damon letting me know what was going on and he would handle everything. Fantastic experience: When we moved to South Carolina, we wanted to keep our Brandon house as an investment but didn't want to handle the renting logistics from long distance, so we engaged Damon Wofford Realty to manage the property for use. That was a wise decision. We've been able to make a new life in SC and not have to worry about the house we kept in MS. Damon has kept tenants in the house and I've not had to pay a mortgage out of my pocket in three years. I've had no problems from the tenants owing, I suspect, to Damon's screening process. Damon has managed all repairs and cleanings for reasonable costs and always informing me first. And his web portal has been a great tool for keeping up with what's going on with my house. If I ever purchase more property in the Jackson, MS area to rent out, I will definitely have Damon manage it for me.

Fantastic experience: Damon at Wofford Realty is the best property manager ever. He has managed our property going on 3 years. We live 6 hours away in another state. Damon takes care of any problem or repair that's needed and we are never bothered with anything. He gets the best qualified renter possible and our property looks the same as it did 3 years ago when we moved. Never had any damage to the house and never once did we have a late payment from the renter. That being said,we always have our rent deposit into our account before the 1st of every month. This is great when you hold a mortgage that is due on the 1 st.of every month. My daughter has a rental and she never gets her rent from the property manager until the 12 th of each month. If you have a rental property you will Not be disappointed if you get Damon Wofford to manage it. One more thing...first summer our hvac went completely out. Damon not only handled everything but got us a huge discount on our unit. My husband always is saying how much he appreciates me in finding such a great manager... I was out of the U.S. for three years and I never got a complaint from the city. They screen the tenants throughly which makes it easier for everyone!
