Fantastic experience: The Porter Group have set the bar for the experience of both buying and selling a home. Jodie Bowden has been especially helpful! Why do I say they set the bar? They are not only well versed in the process, but have leveraged e-documentation more than other firms we’ve worked with: a separate team oversees the entire process from the first time realtor meets client all the way through close, to make it seamless and quick while neither being pushy or missing a step. All parties have more time to focus on making the deal right. TPG also has different agents for the buyer and seller sides of the sale process, allowing all parties focused representation.

He was very quick to respond to any text or email even if it were late at night (and trust me there were a lot!). During the many houses we hunted, he never made us feel pressured to purchase. Fantastic experience: The Porter Group, and Terri in particular, were amazing to work with during both the purchase of our new home and sale of our previous home. During the search for our new home Terri asked the right questions, really listened and got to know us, which was so nice as she did not waste our time showing us homes that would not work for our family. She was also VERY patient with us when we asked to view particular homes that were "outliers" to what we were looking for. When we first toured the house we ultimately purchased she said, "This is it" the moment we walked in! She was right! We love our new house and we are so grateful we had Terri on our side during negotiations (she got us an unbelievable deal!). After our move, a person from Terri's team (Kelsey) even called us to see if there was anything they could help us with or if we had any questions. During a difficult time when “STAY AT HOME’ orders were issued by the state of Tennessee Governor, Terri was able to find a qualified buyer and negotiate a fair price. It was previously a rental property, and even though the commission wasn't high, Terri handled the hand off from our property management company, shared her contacts and managed the renovation, and then handled the sale and got us exactly what we were hoping for.
