Fantastic experience: I came across Jennifer Carstensen through a site called (real estate agents I can trust). A group of realtors sponsored by radio host Glenn Beck. I inherited a house that needed a lot of renovations and after a year of dealing with this project I reached my Witt’s end. After contacting Jennifer she meat me at this house well prepared with data of sales in the surrounding area and also a list of various contacts for work that still needed to be done. She gave me an idea of what needed to be done to get top dollar and what she thought the house was worth as is. I told her that I had a buyer interested in the house as is and she step aside to give me a chance to proceed on my own. Armed with the data and knowledge she gave me I was able to negotiate a fair price with this buyer. I can’t thank Jennifer enough for helping me while not asking anything for herself. Jennifer will be my first contact should I ever need a realtor again.

Negative experience: Very stressful to work with this agent. Not recommend her and her team. Liars. Keep lying to you the whole time.

Negative experience: We were the buyers so she wasn't our agent but Ms. Carstensen and the seller were not honest about things in the house before purchase, for example, Ms. Carstensen said we didn't need a pan for the waterless tank, the refrigerator that was left doesn't work, the vent hood that was installed needs a motor, the heat upstairs did not work, the hole in the roof of the attic was not sealed, the GFI electrical outlets have a shortage somewhere (upon doing upgrades power in garage, master bath, and back porch would completely shut off), the rotten wood was not repaired/replaced, nor were the gutters repaired/replaced, all the repairs that were so called done by Paschal Construction was not completed 100%. As of a matter of fact, we the buyers had to fix EVERYTHING that the seller hired Paschal Construction to do ...costing us more expense out of pocket because we were under the impression that ALL repairs were complete but that was not true. Communication with our agent and Ms. Carstensen was poor because she would not respond to phone calls nor emails. It would take days for her to respond and we had to extend the seller on the repairs due to a lack of communication on their end. Finding out later that the repairs were not even done. The house is lovely but if we would have known up front that ALL these repairs were not going to be fixed like agreed upon then we would not have closed. But we were lied to and trusted that both the seller and Ms. Carstensen were being honest. We have receipts of EVERYTHING that was so called done on the seller's end that we ended up having to go behind her and actually hire professional contractors to fix what she was supposed to have done. So everything that I've said can be proven. I would not recommend Ms. Carstensen to anyone. I would not want anyone to have to go through what we the buyers did.
