Negative experience: Renting from this place has been the worst experience of my life..I agreed to rent a home through them for 1300 a month. The home was roach invested the staff and the owner was very rude and heartless...They never finished none of the repairs every month they add more and more charges that I know is very illegal..I was not told about any of the 500 dollars in extra charges .They waited until you move into the property to harass and demand the money...They keep changing the rental portal charging more and more money to pay your rent and you have to use the portal cause they won't take the money in office...I'm disabled and this has really worsened my health...I would not never refer this company to anyone it is straight from hell. .THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE

Tim and his team at Ole Bay always did a bang up job for me and did a great job during the sales process. I'd recommend them to anybody looking for residential real estate as an investment or to sell in the Mobile area.

Negative experience: 1 star is entirely too much for this company!! I have never seen such an unprofessional, horrible communication, make up the rules as you go company in my life. TIM has got to be one of the worst people I've ran across! I don't see how he sleeps at night knowing he talks to people all kinds of ways and tells them he wishes he never rented to them.. I'm so glad I serve a great GOD because that man will definitely take you there.. Do yourself a favor and think 3X about renting from these people!! Counting down the days to our lease is up!

Negative experience: Is it possible to hate every single thing about a company? We've had so many problems with Ole Bay that it's no wonder they have a 2.7 rating. The owner, Tim, is unprofessional and has the worst communication I've ever seen in an owner of a company. I'd rather eat a box of nails than to EVER do business with them again. Counting down the days until our lease is up. Please don't ever do business with them. Take your business elsewhere!

Negative experience: There are reasons they are 2.7 stars out of 5. I was just under contract to buy 4 units from them (ole bay represented sellers). It is my right as a buyer to walk away from a deal legally if I have a home inspection contingency. Long story short, plenty of issues arose during inspection so I chose to walk from the deal. They are currently trying to not return my earnest money. This is like highway robbery in Alabama. There is no reason for this. Please stay away from doing business with these people. At a fundamental level, good people do the right thing.

Fantastic experience: Lived in a rental for 5 years. Anytime there has been an issue such as appliance needing repair, after hours service, or even damage from hurricane, they have always been quick to respond. Very professional. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment to view a property and the property manager did not show up. When I got in contact with the office I was told that the agent was fully booked and I would have to reschedule. I drove 45 minutes to get to the property, just to have my time wasted. Will never do business with this property management group. The lack of professionalism was unappealing. Do better.

I was at their office the next morning before they opened. I inquired about the property and was told they already had an application from the DAY BEFORE. I told them when I called the day before, I would have come in then. OH WELL!!!!!! was pretty much their response. Avoid....

Negative experience: We rented from Ole Bay Management, and while we did not leave on the best of terms, we were garnished for our mistake. Paid IN FULL. And now a year and a half later are being garnished again for the same issue. I think that Ole Bay should have better record keeping.

Negative experience: Rental property viewing scheduled for 10am on a Saturday. Promptly at 10 we knocked on the door as tenant occupied. They did not answer the door. When we called the office there was a recording that said office was closed on weekends and gave no cell phone number to contact someone for something just as this. An email was also sent while waiting and there was no response. If it is that difficult to reach someone at this property management company my concern as a renter would be if there was an immediate need to reach them, I would not be able to.

Fantastic experience: I've been renting for over a year and think they do a great job the ladies in the office are great and when I had a breaker goin out James was quick to change it even meeting me after work late in the day and when he had to go get a new one because I have a different box he went and bought a new one late in the day which I probably would have just went home and fixed it the next day thank you

Fantastic experience: Realty companies rarely seem to get reviews from positive experiences so I figured I'd throw mine on here. I've had experiences with multiple Old Bay properties and have only been treated well with immediate service when needed. For example our AC broke down and they had someone out there day of. Other issues were similarly resolved. Their pet deposit is actually treated as a deposit and is refunded, unlike so many other places. Never had a problem getting back the initial deposit in a fair and fast manner. No complaints here.

Negative experience: Ole bay management really cheated me and my fiance giving us the run around for over a week i was interested in a home they was renting out and i ask last week could i put in an application they told me i would have to do a walked through first i said ok and asked when could i and they told me after 10/1/16 i said ok the first was a Saturday so on monday at exactly 8am i called and ask to do a walk through the lady said call her back in one hour and then we could do it then so at 9am i called back and was told i would have to wait til tuesday morning at 8:30am so on tuesday i showed up at 8:20am the lady gave me the key and told me to go check it out i did and loved it so when i went to return the key and fill out an application the lady tells me that an application is pending !! I ask how when i have been trying to put in a application since last week and i was told i couldn't then on top of all that y didnt she tell me that over the phone or before she let me take the key to do the walk through?? Y waste my time when she knew i could get that home just unprofessional !! Very very unprofessional !! Dont let them waste your time !!

Fantastic experience: They manage a few houses for me, and do A great job keeping the houses leased as well as maintaining them to keep them in desirable condition. I also have found them to be very professional in the last 8 years that I have used them.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a rent of a house in West Mobile by Ole Bay Management Inc. I wouldn't end the lease if I didn't have to leave to FL. The cooperation and fruitful communication with the office staff were just what a tenant needs. It started August 2015 when I first moved to Mobile. I came over to the office and the front desk ladies were so kind and helpful to advise me with the good lists of nice houses I should check. Few days later, I found a very good house in West Mobile area. Here, I would like to express my thanks to Mike when we had this great lease in the first place. Every thing was clear and smooth. No wonder we signed the contract two days after my family and I saw the house. Throughout the lease term, the maintenance orders always took less than two days to have the work done. The office staff were so professional when it comes to good communication and kind advice whenever I have inquires and ask for repair orders. I sincerely appreciate the good and prompt jobs that both James and Tommy have been doing. They are all GREAT. I would like to highly recommended Ole Bay Management as one of the best property management you need to visit for finding good places for you and for the people you care about.

Fantastic experience: We just moved in to our home a couple weeks ago and have had quite a few matience issues, which is pretty normal for new renters. Ole bay has done an excellent job at making sure everything is resolved and fixed. 95% of the time it is same day repair. So far I am very impressed and appreciate that I feel listened to and respected. I was floored when I read their reviews because that is just not anywhere near the kind of experience I am having as a current renter.

Negative experience: Shady business practices. They require half the deposit with application and won't return it if you pick another place.
