Fantastic experience: My husband had passed away, and about 4 months later I thought it would be a good time to put the house in PA up for sale and find myself a condo near my son in NJ. I got a recommendation for Lisa from my NJ realtor. We had to coordinate both closing dates to be within 1 day of each other. Come h3ll or high water, Lisa was going to make that happen. There were some bumps in the road which Lisa took care of quickly. I had a closing date for September 6 in NJ and also for the house in PA. Moving out of one and in to the other, on the same day, would be nearly impossible. All throughout my dealings with Lisa, she always had my back. I could trust her to do what she said she'd do. Maybe a week before the closing, she asked my buyer's agent if we could close on the 5th and allow me to stay the night and move out and close on the condo the next day. I came back to Lisa, after initially terminating our partnership in our quest to find a home for our family, thinking that I could do better with another realtor because we had a unique situation with having to utilize a VA loan any market, not embracing to a VA loan? Meaning agents and sellers rather use conventional loans without the hassles from criteria with a VA loan which put us in a predicament of a very small availability of homes that we could afford. We also had a time constraint of needing to find a home and close in four weeks or we could be homeless. They seem to be impossible goal for us and for any realtor, I found that the grass is not greener on the other side and ended up coming back to Lisa Wright, even after terminating our relationship, Lisa was very cordial and kind enough to tell me. With the demands of two careers, two preschoolers, a tight budget, and possible homes sold almost before they came on the market, Lisa had her hands full. She found them a beautiful home that met all their needs. When I decided that I wanted to relocate to be near them and other family members it was a no-brainer. I called Lisa and asked her if she could help me with my specific needs, which included that I wanted the home habitable soon and the challenge that I do architectural design professionally and would want to make some customization. With Lisa by my side, three weeks later I was sitting in front of the person responsible for the build-out of an established 55+ development that offered multiple floorplans with great use of space, beautiful esthetics, and the possibility of modifications. Fantastic experience: Let me start with saying, Lisa is incredibly tenacious, highly experienced, and will not stop till you have the house of your dreams! We moved from out of state using VA benefits, there are very few VA homes available in the area we bought in, even fewer which would pass VA without extensive repairs. We found Lisa after going through too many realtors to count. The other agents follow through in the area we were not responsive, tried to sway us from using my husband's VA benefits which he had earned or showed us houses that clearly would not pass VA, some of these realtors were also "experienced" and capable, but they lack the unrelenting determination Lisa has!!! We saw approx 50 houses before Lisa, with her, we saw 2 and found our home. The transaction was not without challenges, challenges Lisa was able to find creative solutions by working incredibly hard with the listing agent, appraiser, and all other party's involved, all down till the last minute. There were many situations we could have lost the house over, she did not give up on us NOR our home. Thank you Lisa, we are so grateful you we're able to get us into our beautiful home with all its character. I honestly don't know where we would be if weren't for you.

Negative experience: Lisa Wright is extremely rude and unprofessional, she was the real estate agent for the sellers of the house I bought. Throughout the entire process she was impolite and unpleasant to myself, my family, and my real estate agent. She forced us to take out multiple loans and harassed my real estate agent and the settlement office the day of closing. Her ill-mannered behavior prevented me from enjoying the process of buying a home. She is someone who lacks compassion and respect.

Fantastic experience: Gawd, don't you hate it when your spouse is right? The time had come for my wife and me to downsize. The kids were grown and our property had become too much for us to manage. Twenty years ago, we managed to sell a house and buy another without the help of a Realtor. It seemed to me that would be the smartest route to take this time around as well. My wife was in touch with some old classmates and learned that one of them, Lisa Wright, had a reputation as a highly skilled and experienced Realtor. My wife's reasoning was that the market is unusual at best and frankly, she did not want to deal with all of the complexities of selling and buying. I reluctantly agreed. Lisa came to our house to evaluate it and to form a marketing plan. This was about the time the Covid situation was beginning and although it slowed us down, Lisa managed to put online a virtual tour including aerial photographs to show the property to it's fullest advantage. We were definitely in a seller's market. Finding motivated buyers was relatively simple. On the buying side, however, it was a challenge. The most desirable houses were sold in days with multiple offers exceeding the asking price. In the past dealing with any type of salesperson including Realtors, required a great deal of caution. I've been in the position of having a Realtor “represent me” only to see that they wanted to make a sale –any sale--as quickly as possible. When I was taken to see a house, I felt I was getting a pitch to close the deal ASAP. Enter Lisa Wright. There were several houses that we considered because they were “okay” and they were in our price range. Instead of trying to push us, I felt Lisa (this is IMPORTANT) actually encouraged us to back off. She said, “I don't want you to get a house that's just okay, I want you to get a house you love. Let's keep looking.” Eventually, we found a house that was great for us. There were some problems though. It was over-priced and the sellers were not ready to come to terms with that. Lisa was a genius in psychology and negotiation. It took time and frankly, we had given up hope of coming to a deal. Lisa agreed this was a great house for us and would not give up. We all agreed to a deal that was fair and the seller felt lucky to get the terms.

Negative experience: Beware of unethical and dishonesty on the part of Lisa Wright. Her client made an offer on my house in April, which I accepted, and we moved into the inspection phase. I specifically refused any inspection of the swimming pool (too early in the season to open it, as the house was vacant) and offered a credit to pay for the opening after purchase of the house. It is unclear who set it up (Lisa's team or the potential buyer) but a pool company was contracted for an inspection and came to my house and removed the winter cover of the pool and wrote up a report of various potential problems with the pool. This was blatant trespassing and an abuse of any trust that should exist between a seller and a buyer's agent. My agent was unaware of these events until I discovered the pool uncovered. When confronted by my agent, Lisa refused any comment or information. Proof is available thanks to a picture of the pool company's van in my driveway included in the Inspection report. Her agency's VP Sales Manager did not even respond to my email about the matter. We need ethical people in this field! At the Inspection, a faucet was left running in the Master bathroom and the jacuzi in the Master bathroom was left full of water. Your inspector's unprofessional testing of the septic field could have compromised the field and then he refused to recognize his ignorance in choice of method to test with the resulting negative consequences. Lucky him that he did not damage it: his license should be revoked and your judgement is in question at hiring him. This agency's VP Sales Manager did not even respond to my email about the matter. We need ethical people in this field!
