Jeremy Burke - Veterans of the Valley

Fantastic experience: Jeremy with Veterans of the Valley went above and beyond for my family when it came to finding a home. He not only helped us find the home that was right for us and negotiated every aspect, he advised us for every decision with extensive knowledge. Apart from everything to do with buying a home, he helped us on a personal level- veteran to veteran. He has knowledge, connections, solid answers, and is an incredible person. We were not “his next sale” or just another paycheck. He treated us with respect and absolute fairness. I could not recommend him more highly to everyone I know, and I know for sure I will never work with another realtor other than Jeremy.

Fantastic experience: My in-laws both suddenly passed away last year and my husband and I had to get their house ready to sell. We live out of state and had no idea where to begin. My husband being a veteran was recommended Veterans of the Valley, and we were introduced to Jeremy Burke. Jeremy not only in writing with details what his services are, he followed through with every question we had or request. The communication is 100% this is something I can't stress enough is key for me. Negative experience: **update** Let me clarify to future home buyers: We told him from the start we didn’t have the earnest money and he refused to even try and negotiate that. I will give props that a couple of offers was put through or said it was put through and was denied. I say it was ‘said it was’ as we never actually got a denial letter like we sent to buyers of our house we had. We put reasons and stated thank you for the offer. We didn’t get any of that when ours were put in. Just went off with what we were told. We had the loan all approved and ready to sign for a house that we liked and woulda gone way above the asking price and did put offers in for above with his associate. He only showed one house while the other guy showed us multiple. We found a real estate agent who had the skills to get us a home without the earnest money and to also sell our house as we PCSd. He wanted us to ask family for money like our family have 5k to put down. Did we understand that we would get the money back? Of course. Did the new one explained to us it was gonna be difficult to get into a house without the earnest? Yes but they were able to do it. Jeremy told us he couldn’t help us and I figured with those words right there, contract was done. He can’t help us so why try and work anything out. It’s not fair to either party. We told him we found another and he got extremely mad and then the threats happened of suing us after him telling us he couldn’t help us without the earnest money. How does one go about ‘I can’t help you’ to ‘I’m gonna sue you’. He actually have talked with me, as I was the one in the beginning he had conversations with in what we were looking for. No Jeremy, I’m not gonna call you and that last bit is extremely narcissistic and I refuse to talk to those people due to PTSD. ‘You probably won’t call me’ the most narcissistic thing one can say. I hope his comment below helps others to see how he is. I will say, I appreciate the new guy he had that showed us homes. Who answered questions for every home he showed us. The professionalism through the FaceTime walk throughs of homes on the market. I don’t remember that guys name but I’m certain he’s married to the one who also gave a 1star review. Does earnest money help you the buyer? Yes! Is it actually required? No. Just don’t be that buyer and put an offer in and go with the process of buying a house and then backing out for no reason. I didn’t want this to go this way, like we needed to know what school to start prepping and get registered to get our child into. Not to mention we were still in our previous state. **original** He seems really nice at first and ‘Knowledgeable’ in his career field and for the military… I cannot say he is. He threatened to sue us because he said he couldn’t work with us and we agreed he couldn’t. He was the one that wanted the breach any contract and yet threatened us… a military family. If you’re military go with someone else especially if you’re a first time home buyer. He will switch real quick on you from being super nice to super nasty. Glad I went with who I found online who is more veteran/ active duty friendly.

Fantastic experience: Jeremy rocks!! What a fantastic realtor. We gave him a very short timeframe and through a lot at him quickly and he didn't bat an eye. He was very efficient and got everything done that we needed and when we needed it. Would love to work with him again one day

Fantastic experience: There are many challenges in selling a rental home in Alaska, especially being out of state. Jeremy took on a lot of extra duties, coordinating absolutely everything. He arranged for new carpet, additional cleaning, and arranged for repairs needed to sell our home. He kept us updated and gave excellent advice along the way. Fantastic experience: Right from the start when I asked Jeremy Burke to be my Relator he got straight to work. I told him what I was looking for and price range. He gave me his professional advice on what I could get for my price range and he was spot on. When I found a place that I wanted to see, he was right on it getting out there. I wasn’t in the local area yet so he gladly did the showings on FaceTime. I was a little worried at that time not physically being present. But he did a amazing job showing the places over the phone. After I found the place I really like. Jeremy’s advise on what to offer was packed full of experience. He was a straight shooter and didn’t give any empty promises but gave extremely good most likely would happen on the offer. During our repair negotiations which was a good amount of back and forth. He truly had my best interest in mind. Jeremy was constantly checking to make sure everything was provided proving what we asked to be repaired. He always replied to my messages in a timely manner even when I was four hours ahead in a different time zone. Jeremy would also contact the bank to see if they needed anything from me. The docsign program he used also was super convenient and helpful. Jeremy did a in-depth walkthrough after everything was done with me. He also was on top of my closing day to make sure everything went correctly and on time. He stayed on his game the whole entire time from our first conversation to handing me the keys to my place. We were buying from out of state (NJ). He would FaceTime, call, text, he’d send carrier pigeons if he had to to help out.
