Fantastic experience: Nik was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately we had to quick sale our house and ended up owing quite a bit in closing costs. He was able to work with the buyers' agent and find closing terms that helped absorbed some of our costs. We were also able to close on a price initially higher than we estimated. He's knowledgeable and well connected in the Wasilla community.

Fantastic experience: Nikolaus helped me sell a very complicated property. He helped me to set a good price and get reasonable offers. He helped me to meet all of my priorities, including the speed of the sale and the price-range. He was very fast at responding to my communication needs. Given that this was a complicated sale, I had a lot of questions, which he was able to answer or find an answer very quickly. He was very professional and patient with me as well. Overall, he was a very professional realtor with lots of experience and great relationships with people all over the valley, which helped us to get our needs met quickly. Having worked with buyer- and seller-agents in the past, working with Nikolaus would be my top choice.

Fantastic experience: Buying a home is stressful enough, but ours seemed determined to add a few extra challenges along the way. Between mortgage underwriting, appraisal reviews, personally dealing with some minor repairs because the seller & their agent wasn't all that cooperative, going through a stressful transition with work, family business, gathering documentation, and coordinating a move at the same time, there were plenty of moments where I felt overwhelmed juggling it all and more than a little edgy. What made the difference was Nik. Beyond being an excellent real estate agent, he has a remarkable ability to understand people. He listened when I was stressed, answered my questions without making me feel like a nuisance, and somehow always knew how to bring me back down to earth when I was convinced something was going sideways. But what stood out most was how genuinely invested he was in helping us succeed; not just as clients, but as people. By the end of this process, I didn't just feel like we had a great real estate agent. I felt like we had made a friend. My husband and I are incredibly grateful for everything Nik did for us, and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Fantastic experience: Nik sold our home in Settler’s Bay. From our first meeting, Nik was transparent and informative. He knew how to move our home quickly. He kept us on timeline and communicated every step of the way. He gave us simple instructions to follow for the pictures. I thought we were going to have to paint, but he said we did not. He was very clear that he did not want us to spend any unnecessary time or money. He kept the most money in our pocket throughout the experience. We knew Nik was someone we could trust, and he performed. Nik didn’t want us to do an open house because they had not been fruitful in his experience. We showed the house to 4 people. Our home sold within 72 hours of listing. The first walkthrough was the person who chose to purchase at the full asking price. Once we went under contract, Nik’s assistant, April, started emailing us time-sensitive documents and organizing all the service appointments and invoices. She was always professional and swift in responding to any of our questions. Everyone on the seller’s team was informed about every aspect of the sale, from start to closing. When we told Nik we wanted the house sold by October, he met that goal. When we purchase another home, we will be working with Nik and his team again. The home sale was a pleasant and rewarding experience because of their dedication.

We went under contract three different times with three different buyers, and had countless amendments and quirks pop up throughout the transaction, but Nik was focused and professional throughout all of it. He connected us to our loan officer, Monica Barton. He made time for every house that we wanted to view and answered all of our questions as first time homebuyers.
