She arranged well executed showings (utilizing a scheduling software that texted me which was great!). Once the listing went live the process went so smoothly and quickly and Stephanie was so helpful with weighing the MULTIPLE OFFERS(!), and several OVER ASKING! The potential buyers we settled on had questions following the inspection, and Stephanie communicated promptly with them, and with a little back and forth, everything ended up working out to close the deal. Closing went smoothly without issue. Stephanie was responsive with great communication throughout! The selling process is inherently stressful, with lots of new things to wrap your mind around constantly, but Stephanie made the process go so smoothly! Stephanie is an absolute professional. Negative experience: Stephanie Way acted as a buyers agent, however she did NOT work on our behalf the buyer’s She did not give vital information up front to the seller and sellers agent, ie a home sale contingency which was expressed to her and her acting agent before any offer or lender pre- approval was presented, which after inspection cost and other expenditures cost us hundreds of dollars. Ultimately the Offer was soured.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie worked with us for about 6 months to look for a house in the New Paltz area. She was great to work with, provided helpful insights, and never tried to sell or encourage us to buy to speed the process. We looked at a lot of houses, and when she couldn't make it while we were in town, she'd set us up with a colleague. We ended up putting in offers on 2, with success on 2nd. Both times, she provided insights about market values to help craft the offers, and she communicated regularly and strategically with the sellers' agents - helping to manage expectations on both sides and to fairly represent us throughout the bid process. If she hadn't worked with the agent for the house we purchased, I'm certain the deal would have fallen through. I'd gladly work with her again. A bit about how I approach home buying: I like to look at a house without having to respond to an agent walking me through the house, narrating as we go. Stephanie was a good match for this approach. She spoke up either when I had a question or if she saw something wonky I might have missed or didn't know (like the white paint on the basement wall being from mold remediation).

Fantastic experience: Stephanie was the candle in our coal mine.. our little light in the dark night. Buying a home was more complicated and frustrating than I ever imagined and I hope I never have to do it again but if it weren't for her, we wouldn't have bought a house at all. Besides her, the rest of the process was miserable. Everywhere you turn, it more people you've never met, with their hand out asking for money. Unexpected costs around every corner and it costs twice as much as you think it will. Negotiations are inhumane, blind bidding wars leeching every cent out of you. There's a special place for the people that set this system up. Stephanie reassured us, and helped us word our offer in such a way that they chose us even with multiple higher offers. After that, we got the worst home inspection report and the seller wouldn't budge a penny and told us to take it or leave it. It was call their bluff or just get this horrible frustrating in-just process over with. So that's what we did. It was hell. Except for one angel named sway. I'd recommend her to anybody as a realtor or friend or president of the country or hero of the galaxy or.. well you get the point.
