Fantastic experience: I had a question about a property, and how to get into contact with the realtor working it. The woman that answered was lovely, polite and so helpful. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Negative experience: I bought a house back in around 2012 Anne Davis was my realtor. The buyers were supposed to have a $5000 credit for me in the form of a check at closing and they forgot. Anne thought that it was funny that they forgot and laughed about it. However, I did not think it was funny and I did not know the buyers personally…since the closing was in a law firm I had them draw up something saying that if the buyers did not pay, it would come out of Anne’s commission. Anne was very upset when I tried to protect myself. When I arrived at the closing Anne Davis came up to me and said there is a beautiful gift basket waiting for you at your new home. Well, when I got to my new house, she had gone there AFTER the closing and stole the gift basket that was intended for me. I should have charged her with breaking and entering because this was after the closing. I mean, she still made thousands of dollars and stole something that was intended for me, beyond unethical. I don’t even know why this woman still has a license SHAMEFUL

Negative experience: My husband and I worked with Chris Rybicki at Keller Williams Mountain Partners in Hendersonville, NC to buy what we hoped would be our retirement home in Pisgah Forest. We wanted our offer to be contingent on the actual closing of our New Jersey home, but we were strongly advised not to do that and instead to use a weaker contingency. We relied on that advice and put down $10,000 in due diligence and earnest money. About one week before closing, my husband suffered a serious, potentially life‑threatening medical crisis related to prior stage IV lymphoma. His doctors told us that if this was a relapse, his only remaining option could be CAR‑T therapy and that he would need to stay within 15–20 minutes of the treating hospital for months. That made it medically impossible for us to move to North Carolina, so we notified our agent right away and accepted that we would lose our deposit money. What left us devastated was that, even after we explained all of this, Keller Williams Mountain Partners and our agent still pursued commission, even though the transaction never closed and the property was relisted. In our opinion, this showed a profound lack of compassion and judgment at one of the most difficult times in our lives. Real estate is a business, but basic humanity should matter. Based on our experience, I would urge anyone considering working with Keller Williams Mountain Partners in Hendersonville or this agent to get every compensation term clearly in writing, fully understand their risks if something unexpected happens, and think carefully about whether this is the level of support they want when life does not go according to plan.

Negative experience: During the January snowstorm, I experienced one of the most frightening real estate showings I’ve ever had. An agent arrived at my property during hazardous weather with another man while my husband was away. I had not been notified of the showing as I always had been by my own Realtor, and I was unable to get my vehicle out of the driveway because of the ice and snow. When I questioned the agent, he told me he had scheduled the appointment about 30 minutes earlier. However, after the showing, the appointment in the showing app was changed to indicate it had been canceled. I have security camera video, photographs, and audio from that day documenting the visit and the conversations that took place. What made the situation even more unsettling was that the agent and the man with him appeared to meet and introduce themselves outside my home. To my knowledge, I had not been provided any information identifying the visitor beforehand. As a disabled older woman who was home alone, having two unfamiliar men unexpectedly walking around my property and entering my home during an ice storm was terrifying. I was so frightened that I retreated to my car, and I was still shaking when my husband finally made it home. I reported my concerns to the real estate commission, but I was disappointed that no disciplinary action resulted. Since that day, a piece of sentimental jewelry that had been handed down to me has also gone missing and has never been found. I cannot say what happened to it, but its disappearance after this incident has only added to my distress. My purpose in writing this review is to let other homeowners know about my experience. Trust, communication, and safety are essential when allowing strangers into your home. Based on what I experienced, I no longer have confidence in this company or in the professionalism and judgment demonstrated by this agent. Agent name Irving Armas Joachin !!!

Negative experience: Dealt with Spencer Raab as our landlord/property manager. He is impossible to get ahold of if you ever need anything. We now moved out of our house after 2 years of being great tenants and he has ghosted us about our deposit. It has been almost a month and a half.

Fantastic experience: Todd Bennett helped me purchase my dream home and was the penultimate professional: responsive, courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy. I let him know my goals and he worked hard with me to achieve them. I planned to relocate from another state across the country to North Carolina and after I met Todd I felt comfortable transacting business with him and his agency remotely. The remote document signing process was stemless. He was in constant communication with the seller and myself throughout the process. We closed and now I am happy in my home in NC. He referred a home warranty company and even did a conference call with me and the contact person and stayed on while I asked her questions. He continues to periodically check on me post closing and he even helped me choose the stain to refinish my hardwood floors! I would use him again in the future and will recommend him to friends and family.

Negative experience: Todd was the WORST person to have to deal with when buying a house. If it wasn’t for our amazing realtor, we wouldn’t have been able to deal with the ridiculousness of Todd’s behavior, along with the seller’s horrible personality, and the $1mil+ transaction would have not gone through. If you want to save yourself emotional distress, do not work with Todd.
